L'Oréal Paris Pure Clay Purity Regime Review

I own both the black version and this one. I would say if you are after a deeper clean, the back one is better, however this one leaves your skin feeling clean, soft and removes the oily feeling. Would recommend for anyone with oily skin.

To begin with my face is fairly average so to speak! Gets quite oily and times especially around the t-zone and I normally exfoliate or cleanse. I also have some minor scarring on my chin from numerous skin issues.

I use the wash at night time before bed. The packaging is nice. Comes in a little squeezy bottle which is the perfect size.

Both the wash and mask are green in colour which is a bit shocking but looks and smells very refreshing. Feels lovely, smooth and creamy on the skin and very moisturising which must be the clay content.

The mask is great. It is smooth and a little bit goes a long way. It doesn't go tight, hard and uncomfortable. I was amazed, I could see the mask absorb the oil around my t-zone. Afterwards my face felt so fresh and clean I loved the feel of it.

The regime has helped to control my oily t-zone which I so struggle with. I love that it has a mixture of clays to manage oiliness in a natural way.

I did enjoy using this regime and I will definitely continue to use. Love how it is natural with the eucalyptus. Always make an effort to use natural products so it's really great.

I've been using both of these products for a few weeks now and really love. I am 43 years old with an oily but clear skin type and found my skin looking so much more clearer and drier. My pores are definitely looking smaller due to looking cleaner and overall clarity is amazing. I love the smell and really look forward to using the cleanser in the morning because of the fresh 'waken me up' scent of eucalyptus! The mask, i have been really trying to remember use and probably 1 - 2 times per week. The morning after, i have been finding my skin so much more drier (not oily) which I am definitely loving.

I've used the products separately and not as a regime per se but I can see how they work together. I found the cleanser to be effective with a mattifying effect and the clay mask great for a deep cleanse to draw out oils.

I find the scent pleasant and the textures thick/luxurious.

This duo is so refreshing - I've never really dabbled with Eucalyptus in skin care before but I was pleasantly surprised with the results!

I have a very oily t-zone and since using the clay wash and mask in conjunction with each other its been really balanced.

The pack sizes and prices are fab, and the fact you can grab them with your groceries? Great!

Out of the two products I LOVE the mask and really enjoyed the wash, I think the key to using the wash is knowing your skin - avoid using on dry areas else it will strip them.

I think these would be amazing products for teenage / breakout prone skin as they contain so many oil zapping ingredients, they really do mattify!

I received these products as part of a BR trial team and I am so glad I did! I find that my skin looks a lot clearer and brighter right from the first use of the cleanser which I love. My only issue with it is that because it's so initially mattifying that I get little dry patches and my face does end up quite oily later on. I'm hoping that my skins hydration levels adjust though because I love how the cleanser makes my (combo) skin look!

The face mask is the same colour and scent as the cleanser, which is a nice fresh eucalyptus fragrance. I apply a thin layer to my t-zone then rinse it off after 10-15 minutes. The jar doesn't have the instructions on it which seems odd but if you're familiar with face masks then you won't really need directions anyway.

The mask can be used every 2-3 days and the cleanser daily. For me personally I don't think I can use them both at the same time as it would be too drying for my skin. I need to use a different cleanser if I'm about to do the mask or my dry patches get too annoying.

Overall, I LOVE this range and plan to try the other varieties as soon as possible.

I definitely favoured the Mask! It was amazing at getting out all the black and white heads out of my nose and deeply cleansing my face, while also really tightening the skin.

The mask I found was good for daily cleansing, I used this in the evenings. Skin was smooth and more mattified.

As a skin care I regime, I feel like this is a good option for those with oily, clogged skin that are looking for a natural smelling skin care range. (smells strongly of eucalyptus)

I have sensitive, combination skin, so I was very interested to try this. My first impression was that I loved the pale green colour of the packaging as it seemed very natural.

I used the face wash once or twice a day and used the face mask twice a week. I was worried my skin would get dried out and my fears turned out to be warranted. It wasn't awful, but I did notice my skin getting dry from the face wash, so I ceased using it.

The face mask applied green then dried to white over about 20 minutes, clearing out my skin in the process. This was not too drying and was suitable for clearing my skin. However, I usually don't use products with artificial fragrance, so I found the parfum in both products (but especially the mask) very overwhelming. For that reason after using it a couple of times I had to give it away.

It your skin needs to be a little drier and you don't have a strong sense of smell this is a good option for you, but if you're used to products without artificial fragrance this will probably be a bit cloying.

I was impressed with both of these products for not drying out my already very dry and sensitive skin. They did a great job of clearing up my t-zone - however i've suffered a hormonal zitout break which nothing seems to be working on.

The cleanser is lovely and soft - it doesn't dry your skin out despite containing clay and your skin feels lovely and supple afterwards. Preps your skin well for the rest of your skin care.

The mask doesn't take too long to dry and isn't hard to remove (meaning you don't need to scrub at your face for it) while I didn't notice much difference in my pores I did notice my t-zone not being as oily or gross.

Much like the reviewer below me I do wish they didn't test on animals. So it's unlikely i'll purchase these myself again but they are a fantastic well priced duo if you are in the market for a good clay cleanser and mask!

this cleanser and mask duo leaves my skin so refreshed! I love using this cleanser as a daily refresher for my skin, however I haven't seen a change in the oily part of my skin, I have been using the cleanser 3 times a week and the mask twice a week. the mask is great as it's really refreshing and there's a lot in the container.
