When opening the glass jars on the day cream it has a luxurious feel, the smell is over powering or offensive. I wore this with and without make up. And found that it left my skin feeling hydrated all day. I love the fact it has the added SPF which is a huge bonus. I found my skin was felt silky and plump. I haven’t noticed a huge reduction in my fine lines. The night cream also comes in a glass square jar, the product does smell slightly stronger, and is a thicker consistency. Waking in the morning my skin felt hydrated, smooth and did look more plump. I did have the odd break out which has settled with use. I’m in love with this eye cream. When opening the glass jar I was excited to see a rich, luxurious cream. With use of this product I’ve found lines have been plumped, my eyes look smoother and hydrated. My concealer sits beautifully over this product. This one is definitely going to stay in my regime.

Tips: I massaged all creams into my skin paying extra attention to where I have pronounced lines and found it plumps more.
I was a little apprehensive about testing the L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Regime because let’s face it, who really wants to admit they are on the wrong side of 30 and looking a bit haggard?!? But after I got over myself and put on my big girl pants I decided to give it a whirl. The Revitalift Regime is made up of three creams: a day cream, a night cream and an eye cream all of which are pretty simple to use - no overly complicated steps or instructions. All three creams felt pretty luxurious, and much fancier than any creams I have used in the past. I was a bit concerned that such thick creams would make my face feel weird, heavy and greasy but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The day cream made my face feel soft and healthy, and kept my skin feel hydrated throughout the day. The day cream is also has an SPF 15 rating which is a necessity in NZ. The eye cream made my eyes feel fresh, and using the night cream before bed resulted in soft, supple skin in the morning. All three creams had a light fragrance but it wasn’t too overpowering which is a big plus in my book. After a few days of using all three creams I stared to notice a remarkable change in my complexion. Instead of resembling a moon crater my skin was smoother, healthier and brighter. However, if the main purpose of this regime is reduce wrinkles, I haven’t seen much change in this department (perhaps I am still in denial) but overall I was happy with the L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Regime.
I was lucky enough to be given this trio to trial and was so excited to get a spot on this trial team as I have never tried Revitalift before. The first thing I noticed was the lovely white glass jars each product came in. I try to reuse jars where I can and these look great in my bathroom cabinet. I will review each product as close to the 4 week mark as possible as Im noticing the longer I use this regime the better my skin gets. I have already recommended this set to a few friends as it is very rare to find 3 such great products at such affordable prices and available at the supermarket. I personally havent used any L’Oreal skincare since I was in my 20’s and Im now 37 and have definitely noticed that it works better for me now than it did back then. The only drawback about this set is that being each jar is made of heavy glass the set isnt ideal for travelling due to its weight and risk of breakage. Aside from that this is a fantastic skincare regime at an affordable price that covers all bases. L’Oreal Revitalift trio (day cream spf 30, eyecream and nightcream) you get a big thumbs up from me
Tips: As the jars are made of heavy glass you may want to find some cheap plastic travel containers to put a little of each product in when travelling( Kmart have some brilliant little sets)
I’ve used this regime religiously for 10 days straight now, so I now feel qualified to submit a review of these three products. I’m a huge fan of Loreal and overall I’m very happy with the effect that the combination of these three products are having on my skin. My skin certainly feels a lot more hydrated, healthier and it even has a bit more of a glow to it now. It doesn’t look dull. The regime won’t make your wrinkles miraculously disappear, but it certainly has a lovely nourishing, hydrating effect on the skin. I will review each of the products in the Revitalift Regime separately.
1) THE DAY CREAM: of all three products, this was my least favouite... My day cream is SPF 30, not SPF 15 (as specified above). It unfortunately does have a slight sunscreen-like smell to it in my opinion, not overwhelming, but definitely there and is not a favourite smell of mine in skincare. However, I do appreciate that all good skincare regimes should probably have sun protection in them and I know why it needs to be there. Perhaps it is because I am used to lighter day creams, but it did also feel a bit too thick on my skin. So I would probably give this about 2.5 or 3 out of 5 for those main reasons. However, as stated in my first paragraph, the combo of all three products has had a beneficial effect on my skin, so overall I am still rating this regime highly...
2) THE EYE CREAM: I can’t say enough about this, it is exceptionally good!! I can’t wait to put it on day and night, it is almost addictive, because it actually makes the skin under my eyes feel firmer and plumper - I’d have a whole vat of this stuff if I could! It feels amazing and makes the skin under my eyes look less tired, plumper and healthier. Woweee - a winner in my eyes (s’cuse the pun!). 5 stars right there.
3) THE NIGHT CREAM: This is also very good and has a very hydrating feel to it. Again, it is probably a little thicker than most of the night creams I’ve previously used, so it took a bit of getting used to. But the overall effect in combination with the other creams has been healthier-looking, more hydrated skin. So I think this product works well on the skin and I give it four stars.
Overall, I give this skincare regime four stars. I absolutely adore the eye cream, it has been very beneficial around my eye area and I really enjoy using it. The day cream not quite so much as I am used to a lower SPF in my day creams and it smelled a bit like sunscreen to me. It also felt a bit too thick on my skin. The night cream, like the day cream, also felt a bit thick on my skin, but it does feel very nourishing and hydrating at the same time. I prefer it to the feel of the day cream. Overall, this regime feels good for my skin and I like it and am enjoying the experience. I will definitely be buying the eye cream again and probably the night cream also. I give the entire regime 4 stars (kisses!) overall! Thanks Beauty crew for the opportunity.
Tips: Make sure you also put the night cream on your neck as well, not just your face, as it feels nourishing and hydrating on the neck also. :)
Firstly, thank you for selecting me to trial this regime. I was super excited to try out each of the products over the course of the last few weeks.
The outer packaging is where all the fine print is located. And there is a lot of it. There you can find everything you would want to know about the products right there on the box. The claims are in my experience well based. The formula of each of the creams is non-greasy, non-sticky, despite being of a thick consistency. I felt they melted into my skin leaving it smoothed, hydrated and after a few days my skin tone seemed more youthful and even. The opaque glass tubs have minimal information on them apart from a colour swatch to indicate the difference between day and night creams. The tub size is generous as only a small amount is required per application.
I am not sure how it works on wrinkles as i still don't have any at 37 (touch wood). But what I can say is each of the products smells and performs differently and is for different purposes.
The day formulation is SPF30 and the scent throws me back to my childhood when my mum used the (original formulation) oil of olay cream daily. I find the sweet powdery, slightly floral scent and the light apricot colour to be a memory match! It is so lovely and comforting in some old school way. The results were as to be expected. It's a moisturiser, not a magic 'grow a unicorn horm' potion, just a moisturiser, but a very good one if you like thick cream moisturisers.
The night cream has a pleasant scent like fresh clean linen. The consistency, like the day cream, is thick and the colour of the cream is white. I find with each of these creams only a small amount is required. I always seem to apply way too much.
The eye cream has a scent of cucumber and mint, is it uplifting and has a slightly less thickness to its consistency than the other two products. I am not sure if the eyecream did anything for me, I didn't notice any changes.
Overall I liked each of the products. They felt pampering and luscious on my skin. The condition of my combination skin (usually ash dry cheeks, oily T-zone, and 'hedge your bets' around the eyes) seemed well balanced in hydration with the night and day creams. I did have a few break outs with it though, I can't wholly attribute my breakouts to the cream itself, it was probably the change in regime that caused my skin the fright.
If you like thick heavy cream moisturisers then this regime is for you. Personally I love them and will definitely use them again.
L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Day Cream SPF 15
The actual product I received was SPF 30....which I think is Great! Because the one thing I always forget to do is apply sunscreen every day and I end up relying on my foundation affording some protection.
The day cream is thick and luxurious to the touch with a pleasant fragrance. There is a surprising amount in the 50 ml pot. I have used this most days of the trial and have found that is absorbs quickly and makes a nice base to a foundation.
It is difficult to see if my wrinkles/laugh lines have really reduced but overall my skin is more hydrated and plumper with a better look to my face all day.
LOréal Paris Revitalift Night Cream
I have used this product most nights of the review. A thick cream with pleasant aroma that absorbs into the skin quickly - none left on your pillow each night.
My skin is a combination of dry areas and oily areas and past night creams I have used long term in conjunction with a day cream, have caused breakouts. Not with this product!
The dry patches on my face have disappeared and my neck is noticeably firmer. So I really do believe the ingredients are actively working overnight to regenerate and firm.
LOréal Paris Revitalift Eye Cream
This cream is of a lighter texture than the Day and Night cream. A slight aroma and very nice to dab around the eye contour area. Almost a cooling effect .....akin to popping cucumber slices around that area.
Not toxic smelling or feeling at all - definitely doesn't make your eyes water and I guess this is because it is Ophthalmologically Tested .....something to do with eyes and a mighty long word.
This cream has moisturised this delicate area and I do believe there is a new plumpness as a result.
A much smaller jar but a little goes a long way.
LOréal Paris Revitalift - Regime as a Whole
A privilege to trial these products as a set. At the price mark they are ($33.99 per item) I would definitely not be purchasing all three as this would be out of my budget.
If I was to purchase only one, it would be the Day cream. This is mainly because the one gap in my daily regime is remembering to put suncream on first. With built in SPF 30, I can be assured I am protected.
In undertaking this review, I have defiantly been using more moisturiser overall than I usually would and I was concerned that this would cause breakouts to my 49 year old skin, which has occurred in the past with some moisturisers and face masks. But no problems - thank you L'Oreal.
I recommend all three products. As a regime you definitely see an improvement in skin texture, plumpness and firmness, particularly on the neck area. I think a reduction in the look of wrinkles would come over long term usage.
Tips: If you can't afford all three products as a regime, purchase the one you feel is most beneficial to your own daily regime....you will still see results just by using one of the products.
This is such a lovely regime. The packaging is lovely and simple, yet weighty and quality. I did worry about it falling off my counter top and breaking, however I managed not to do that. I enjoy using products that work in synergy with each other and I found that these three products worked perfectly. The eye cream was rich and hydrating. I have quite some trouble finding an eye cream that doesn't make my eyes water but this product was great. The day cream is a lovely light orange colour, with added SPF 30. I love that in a day cream. It nourished my skin and was a perfect base for my make up The night cream is so deliciously rich and hydrating, luxurious and nourishing. I love applying it, I actually really look forward to washing my face at night and applying it. I love waking up with fresh looking skin. I don't notice a big difference but I have been told that my fine lines look soften... I love that!
Tips: I exfoliate twice a week so that my night cream sits better on my skin. It's best not to over do the eye cream, your eyes can become quite puffy if you over use
Thanks for choosing me BR! It's made having 40+ skin worth it.
I've been trialing all 3 products since they arrived on my doorstep.
At a glance, all 3 creams are beautifully packaged in white glass jars with red screw top lids. They just look classy, and matchy matchy :) Thankfully the day cream and night cream have a different coloured line on them so you can tell them apart at a glance. When you're over 40 your eyes start failing and you can't always read the fine print!!
Each cream has a different texture and feels different on my face. The eye cream appears to be mid textured and absorbs nice and quickly into my skin, doesn't get rids of bags I'm afraid ladies. No frangrance that I can pick up to this one. The day cream, which is a shade of peach, seems to have the thinnest texture and not very much in the way of smell to it either. again absorbed nice and quickly into my skin
The night cream seems the heaviest cream and I was a little worried it would sit on my skin and feel heavy. This is the most highly perfumed of the 3 but is still quite subtle. Again, it absorbed very nicely into my skin.
Although I don't see any major differences, my skin definitely feels softer, plumper and more hydrated and the lines are marginally less - no change around the eyes though :(
All in all, I recommend it. Don't expect wonders however as although there is a slight difference to the appearance of my skin, it's more in the feel of my skin I've noticed results. I just hope it lasts.
Tips: I would recommend this to ladies who have quite neglected skin as I feel the results would be outstanding and the product is especially great for its price. Keep a look out as I've just seen this on 50% in the supermarket which makes it even better value. If you can only afford one item out of this range make it the night cream. That's where I felt I got the best results.
I have been using L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Regime for abot three weeks now, and I can definitely see the differences before and after three weeks of using L’Oreal Paris Revitalift. My skin feel so smooth and firm. I can see less prominent wrinkles, and I love the fragrance too! The three products work really well together to enhance firm skin. Using Revitalift Day Cream works during the day and I don’t have to worry adding sunblock into my regime since it has SPF 30. At night, Revitalift Night Cream works while I rest, therefore it continue to firm my skin. Eye Contour Cream is an extra benefit to reduce the wrinkles around my eyes which start to develop. I can see it! Overall, I recommend these L’Oreal Revitalift Regime to your daily beauty regime!
Tips: I apply L’Oreal Eye Contour Cream from my inner eye to my outer eye. I gently tap it and give a little time to absorb into the skin, then apply the L’Oreal Day Cream all over the face and gently massage my face. Continue the same method at night with the L’Oreal Night Cream and watch that wrinkles diminishing!
This is a great set but I will review each one in turn as I use them. The day cream is a pleasant smelling thick cream. It smoothes on easily and is absorbed quickly. I like the fact that it has a SPF in it, which makes me feel good about going out all day with it on. Overall I am happy with the day cream. It lights up my face and makes it look fresh and plump. Now to the eye cream. Again a nice texture and smell and goes on easily, although a little greasy feeling for me. I would agree with the hydrating and toning effects but have not seen much change in the appear of wrinkles around the eyes. Lastly, the night cream. It's a rich thick cream but gets absorbed really well. In the morning my skin looks bright, tight and fresh, but again I have not seen much effect in the wrinkle department! Overall this is a good reasonably priced set that brightens, plumps and tightens your skin. i am not sure about the wrinkle claims but it may work for others, sadly not for me. I am pleased with the overall appearance of my skin.
Tips: Drink plenty of water to plump and hydrate your skin.
