L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age Regime Reviews

I was over the moon to be able to trial this set of products from L'Oreal as I've been looking for a skincare regime that actually works for many years - and I think I just may have found it thanks to Beauty Review. All of these products are light with a subtle fragrance and you don't need a lot of any of them to achieve great results which makes them possibly the best value for money on the market. The big question is - how well do they really work and do they live up to their publicity? I can honestly say, hand on heart, that they do and the comments I've received about my skin looking great are a testament to this. I began to notice a difference very quickly from the time I started using this regime. It was well within a two-week period. I love that the day cream is slightly tinted and I've even managed to see an improvement in my rosacea along with a reduction in fine lines. The serum is absolutely gold! It's light and feels so great on your skin - very refreshing. Night cream use is often the one area that I slip up on but I didn't with this one - not just because I had committed to the Beauty Review team but because it just felt so good and relaxing to put this on before going to bed. Many night creams have overpowering fragrances which are not great for a relaxing sleep but this one is not like that. Once again, L'Oreal is winning the race and leading the way in skincare products, particularly for the over 50s. I'm in my early 50s and these products are now my go-to for the foreseeable future. I've even gone out and bought another supply which is the first time I've ever done this. I would absolutely recommend trying this collection if you are looking for light products that do what they say they're going to do. Great for 50+.

This range of products when used together do what they say. When used together over the trial period, I noted a decrease in my fine lines near my eyes. My skin was definitely firmer and more hydrated. For me the only thing disappointment me was the colour of the day cream but this wasn't a train smash as the pink/orange hue did disappear under my foundation. L'Oreal have nailed a range perfectly suited to the more mature skin.

These three fabulous products in conjunction with each other have left my skin feeling lovely, glowing and well moisturised. Costing about $115 for the three products, it is a little on the expensive side to use them all but I think great skin is worth it and these prices really are middle of the range. If you can only afford one or two products then I would go for the night cream first and then the serum. All three products apply really well and you don't have to use much. I have used less than 10 mls of the serum, using twice daily ( only says to use once) over the last 3 1/2 weeks. Definitely well worth using on more mature skin. See my other reviews for more details on each individual product. Because you use so little they will last a long time, they smell great and come in great looking containers and packaging.

I've used these three products from L'Oreal for the last three weeks. They are all lovely and worked well together. The packaging is very nice and I liked that the day cream and night cream jars were different shades of gold so it's easy to grab the right jar when I'm not wearing my glasses, that's a really thoughtful touch for products aimed at older customers! My favourite product was the serum, I really loved using this and will continue to purchase it. I enjoyed the day cream very much, but the night cream wasn't such a favourite. The texture was hard and it felt a bit gritty. All three products worked well together and my skin felt nice, soft and comfortable.

Overall, I liked the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age Regime skincare. I loved the packaging, I'm a sucker for anything luxe looking, add blush pink, gold and sparkles and I'm in! The pink coloured day cream is gorgeous, it leaves my skin looking rosy and glowy. I was impressed with how nicely my BB cream went over the top and can imagine it would be great under foundation. Having an SPF15 factor is obviously a plus. I will be re-purchasing this product. The serum is nice, it smells amazing and works beautifully with the day cream. It does leave your skin feeling tacky but does disappear once the day or night cream is applied. The night cream is quite heavy, my least favourite in the range, but to be honest I found the smell to be offputting and can't really get past that. The three products in the range are to L'Oreal's high standard of quality skincare at a good price point. They work well together while not necessarily delivering what is promised. I haven't noticed any major changes to my skin aside from the nice rosy glow after applying the serum and day cream, but nor have I noticed any deterioration in my skin tone or texture. Pretty Rose gold packaging throughput the products. I am outside the target age for this product but have still seen some improvement in my skin throughout the trial. I have used the 3 products exclusively for the 4 weeks and overall my skin appears smoother and is much softer. My dry patches are reduced. Although my Rosacea has not reduced it has not worsened. I will definitely continue to use 2 of the 3 products

Although a bit younger than the recommended age for the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Golden Age Regime, I was pleased to have been selected for this trial.

I have sensitive dry skin and some redness. I have been using the products for about 1 month at the time of this review (Dec 2018). I am very pleased with the results.

I have enjoyed applying the serum every morning after my shower followed by the day cream. The 2 products work well together and left me with a well hydrated skin all day long.

The night cream has been my least favourite of the 3 products, only because of the scent that doesn't suit me. Otherwise, the richness of the cream is wonderful to wake up to a healthy and rested skin.

The packaging is discreet. I find it nice and simple. The packaging has a PAP recycling logo. The pot is made of glass. I would think only the top and inside lids can't be recycled.

I would recommend the products to my friends 50 and over. My skin was instantly intensely hydrated and very comfortable. The RRP for each product is reasonable.

The packaging is to die for. Looks very pemium and quite glam on my dressing table. It looks absolutely beautiful, best of the lot. When turned upside down just a drop comes out, which is enough for the face. It has a pleasant smell. And when applied on the skin, doesn't feel greasy. My skin is looking healthier, hydrated and radiant. In the morning, skin looks & feels fresh. Infact the skin feels tighter. Cheeks seem less sagging. I had a few wrinkles around my eyes & forehead which have started reducing. Dare I say I'm looking youmger, am definitely feeling it. It feels a bit pricey, but looking at the result, I say its worth every penny.

I loved the creams and would definitely continue to use them all. In particular the day cream is wonderful. I have issues because of my oily/combination type skin particularly under makeup. This was so lovely and has replaced my more expensive brand. Likewise the Night cream but does make my skin feel very greasy after a while but the effects when you wake up in the morning outweigh that downside for me. However the serum seemed to be a bit of a waste of time for me. Is lovely, smells good, feels good, looks good but didn't make any difference to my skin in my opinion.

This trial regime was supplied as three products: Age Perfect Golden Age Serum, Age Perfect Golden Age Day Cream SPF 15 & Age Perfect Golden Age Night Cream. olden Age – for the golden years in life! Or the golden packaging! Either way – cool name! This regime is for very mature skin & the packaging states it is for 60-80 age range. I am not quite there yet; but love to try any products that say they will reduce the signs of aging skin & those that use proven ingredients to slow down the aging process. First of all; the outer packaging is of the style & standard you would expect from L’Oreal & it contains all the info you need printed on the boxes. I was impressed with the actual containers with the graduated golden colours & robust lids. They look chic, tasteful & appealing. So how did the regime hold up to its promises…. Although I mix & match my products a lot, I do think it is often an advantage to use products from the same range & they have been developed to work together & enhance each other’s properties. I think this is the case with this regime – I used all three products as they said – the serum & day cream in the morning & the night cream (you guessed it…) at night. I also used my usual eye creams too. I liked all three products & my skin definitely feels smoother, softer & plumper. I also believe the hydration properties made a difference too. It is hard to categorically state there is a reduction in fine lines especially over a short period of time but in this case my skin certainly looked better overall. I think there was a definite benefit of using all three together & that is how I will continue to use them. I will be keen to see how much my skin continues to improve or delay aging with ongoing use.
