I have never used anything like this before and in one sense it felt like little pamper sessions. It did not take long to follow each morning and night and although I was very skeptical, I can honestly say that it has made a difference to my skin. My husband also commented that my skin looked lovely and healthy, so will definitely continue to use this.

Tips: Follow the instructions, I never missed using this morning and night, all of these products will last a very long time as you need to use them sparingly.
I was very lucky to be chosen for this review and overall feel this is a really good Trio. The containers are lovely together with the reddish brown base and silvery gold tops. The serum pump had a lovely solid pump and dispurses easily. I am very impressed with the look of the set on my vanity as they look quite exclusive. The Serum is easy to use ,absorbs instantly and has a lovely scent. My skin was left with a nice tightened feel but the application felt really silky. The day moisturiser is perhaps a little greasy as having to apply makeup would require waiting until absorbed but great for makeup free days particularly. It would have been nice to have SPF included as this is another step to add in the daily regime. The night cream although a little greasy left my skin feeling the best it has ever felt or looked by morning-no morning creases and a lovely soft skin. Overall this is a lovely set and definately has helped my aging skin to look it's best. A definate softening overall and each of the products used as stated would last a good month so very affordable on today's market. Ther instructions I noted are only on the cartons but this is not really a negative as products do not really need directions and the containers look rather nice with less print on them. I do not hesitate to recommend this trio and I will be definately happy to purchase in the future.
Tips: You may prefer to use a makeup spatular in the moisturisers.
It was really lovely to find a group of skin care products designed for and targeted at the Over 60s and at a reasonably moderate price. At 83 I was not expecting any miracles in the way of vanished wrinkles but am very happy to report that my skin feels very much softer and less dry already and some of the smaller lines do seem a wee bit less obvious. I even think that a small facial age pigmentation spot has faded a little. Before I started using this regime I had been reconciling myself to the fact that I must accept that age and early life neglect (for tight budget/busy life with four children reasons) had left me with dry dull skin - even though I have been a non- smoker and no sun worshiper. I am now perfectly content with both the feel and the look - feeling no need to always cover up with makeup. It would be nice though if there was some degree of sun protection incorporated. The square shapes and the coffee/gold colour scheme of the jars is decorative enough for them to be permanently left in sight on the shelf rather than tucked away in a drawer - hence a constant reminder to use them even on those "too tired" days - a definite plus.
Tips: Since these products are designed for older women it seems a pity that it has been forgotten that many (if not most) of us have less than perfect eyesight - so all the product details printed in tiny fonts on shiny bronze card packaging are virtually unreadable. It would be very helpful for there to be paper inserts - larger black pint on white paper - detailing product ingredients for those with allergy and or ethical issues - as well as instructions for use. I would like also to note that it was several days before, with my glasses on, I noticed the small arrow at the bottom left of the black labels on the backs of the jars - indicating the peel back function revealing the directions for use - this time black on white and marginally clearer but still very tiny print. I am sure I will not be the only user who misses seeing this,
Lovely feel and fragrance, but not too much as to be overbearing. Not at all greasy but feels lovely on your skin. The trio is so easy to use, i love it. Easy to apply. Certainly get the intense nutrition feel without greasy after effect.
I was most fortunate to receive three items of skin care in the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect range to trial. To have a "matching set" for daily use is a privilege indeed. The dark brown recyclable containers sport shiny gold lids, three very attractive items to grace the vanity unit!
Advertised as "for mature, dry skin", the skin care range shouted my name. Tick - mature; tick - dry (in places). Some "crinkling" and of course the inevitable laugh lines have become more evident, especially since we now live in a dry climate with seasonal extremes in temperatures.
I felt the window of time to test the products was not wide enough but I know I will be using these for weeks to come, perhaps the serum will empty first but the creams will last possibly three months, making their purchase price diminish somewhat. I would have preferred more variation in the night/day cream colourings and the labels are quite minute to read and thus distinguish. One disappointment, no SPF rating in any items.
I will purchase this range in future, not only is it affordable but also I feel my skin thirsting for that morning cleanse/nourish/moisturise and the L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect goods satisfy this.
Tips: Keep the twin jars of day and night cream separate from one another, it's all too easy to use the wrong one, wrong time!
I was very excited to receive three L'Oreal products to try which included a skin serum, and both day and night moisturisers. The packaging on all products is great, the name, age group it relates to, and instructions for use are all very clear they even include a flow chart to show you how to use the products together. All three products come in lovely large(50ml) glass jars. They have very little smell, what smell there was did not offend at all. The serum has a thin liquid consistency whilst both moisturisers were thick cremes in lovely apricot shades. By about the third day of application (both day and nigh)t I found my skin felt softer and as time went on I perceived a little less sagging with a reduction in the depth of wrinkles. It took me a couple of days to work out how much product to use each time. The serum was easy 2 drops did my face and neck no problem and was absorbed rapidly, which meant I could apply the moisturiser almost straight away after. However, the moisturisers were thick, didn't feel very easy to spread and left my face with a greasy feeling for hours after application. I really felt that I was applying a barrier type creme but then I figured out that using less, warming the creme up with my fingers before application and massaging it in worked better with the greasy feeling, I had initially experienced lasting for hours, now only lasting a short while. I love the soft feel and smooth look of my skin these products have produced, and continue to improve with each day. The boxes advise the best results will be in approx 4 weeks so I am finding it hard to report on the products further efficacy at present, however if the results to date are any indication I think I am going to be very satisfied with these products used in conjunction with each other, that I believe is where the magic lies. I would recommend all three products to my friends with mature skin.
Tips: Less is best, warm up the moisturisers to get a thinner application, massage in well.
The L’Oreal Paris Intense Nutrition Rich Repairing range enriched with NZ Manuka Honey, Calcium B3 and Apricot Kernel Oil, is designed for mature, dry skin (60+) and is meant to help restore dull, ageing skin leaving the skin hydrated and intensely nourished. The range includes serum, moisturiser and night cream. The three products come in reddish brown glass jars with a gold rimmed screw top lid for the creams and a gold pump action top and clear plastic cover for the serum. An inner white plastic lid keeps the creams from drying out. There is a lot of information on the box including ingredients, how to use it and what to expect, along with a scientific explanation of the benefits of using Manuka honey and calcium. I like that there is an expiry date. The pump dispenser on the serum ensures the right amount is dispensed and there is no wastage. It was lightweight yet hydrating and didn't leave an oily residue. I would use the serum in the morning and at night. It would make my skin so hydrated and gave it a healthy glow. It was not oily at all and I could put it on both for daytime and night-time. After the serum was absorbed I would apply the L’Oreal Paris Intense Nutrition Rich Repairing Day Cream. It is a light, creamy consistency and just a hint of a honey aroma. It absorbed quickly into my skin leaving no residue. The only thing I would love to see in this cream is SPF – something my skin definitely needs in the NZ climate. Applying makeup over the cream was very easy. I have really dry skin but this thick and creamy product was so easy to use and complimented the serum really well. In the evening I cleanse, tone and then reapply the Serum. To end my skincare routine I apply the L’Oreal Paris Age Perfect Repairing Night Cream. The night cream is a little thicker and richer than the day cream but only a very small amount was needed and it absorbed very well into my skin without leaving a greasy feel. The next morning my skin felt soft and very hydrated. My skin gets very dry in Winter. After using all the products together my skin has definitely improved. It's much more hydrated and looks a lot more plump and healthy. Most importantly for me, my skin is well moisturised from the morning when I start the regime to the evening. I have been using the regime for 10 days now. I haven’t noticed any major changes with lines or wrinkles but I feel as though my skin is plumper and more hydrated which eventually, hopefully, with continued use will help to soften any fine lines and wrinkles. I like to use a skin care system featuring products from the same brand as these products have been designed to be used with one another or layered over one another. Another benefit for me is that the fragrances complement each other and won’t clash.
Tips: Use these products in tandem to increase repair and create a more intense hydration.
After using these three L'Oreal products together I have been happy with the results. As it caters for the 60+ age group these products contain a lot of repairing ingredients - the two main ones being Manuka honey and Calcium B5, both of which are obviously beneficial for sagging and crinkled skin. As a result my skin is certainly feeling very nourished and replenished through this trial period and I look forward to continuing with this regime of the three products for even better results as the time goes by. L'Oreal has been around now for many years, it's affordable and reliable, and this successful threesome is yet another example of the reason why.
L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Repair:
LÓreal claim this is a rich sumptuous cream. It sure is! However for a day cream I feel it is a little heavy but having said that, it isn't greasy. I looks like whipped butter, and has a very subtle fragrance. For the more mature skin we need a little more oomph in our moisturisers and this certainly delivers. It contains manuka honey for cell repair and calcium for densifying the skin and supporting skin tone. It also comes in a glass jar, not plastic, which is always a plus. I've used this for about a week and my skin is looking a bit firmer and fuller looking. It doesn’t have an SPF though so loses points for that.
L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Night:
This very rich night creams' promised action is to be anti-sagging & anti-crinkle. It also looks like whipped butter, only thicker and has a very subtle fragrance. It also contains manuka honey for cell repair and calcium for densifying the skin and supporting skin tone. My skin feels and looks fuller which means it is less dry, so this night cream works for me. The only down side is it is very thick and thus takes a while to get it spread and blended into the skin.
Scoop it out of the jar and dot it around and let the warmth of your skin heat it up a bit, then it is easier to blend in.
L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Intense Nutrition Serum:
Fortified with manuka honey for skin repair and calcium B5 for moisturising properties, this is a lovely serum. It's a light gel, and 2 small pumps does the whole face and neck area. It has a really nice light fragrance. Comes in a glass bottle with a handy pump. What I really like about this serum is that it is so easy to apply and it feels very luxurious. The only downside I can see is that used twice a day you will run out pretty quickly, so perhaps a bigger bottle would be preferrable.
I’m a huge fan or L’Oréal. When I sold my house to celebrate I brought a L’Oreal skincare set and a hair dryer. So to get to try this set from BR I was soo happy. Thank you BR.
The serum would have to be my favourite of the set but I really enjoyed using them all together.
The whole range looks elegant. The amber bottles look expensive. The boxes also look stylish and clearly state some ingredients and benefits.
The ingredients sound wonderful and seem to do a wonderful job nourishing my skin.
The scent is light and fragrant but not sickly or sweet.
The day and night creamy are creamy and the serum a more fluid consistency.
You can wear it on its own or underneath makeup. Which is another point I love about. I am at the age where I need to take preventative measures morning and night and I always wear makeup so what I use needs to be light and able to be worn under makeup. It also needs to not make my makeup move.
I love that it makes my skin feels moisturised and soft. I haven't noticed changes with lines and wrinkles but when I use the set it makes my skins appearance more plump which helps soften the look of my lines and wrinkles.
It's a nice set for those who have dry skin as it helps give your skin the moisture that it needs without making your skin feel oily.
My only wish was that there was some spf in the day cream or an actual spf item in the range but that’s easily fixed applying my own but would save me a step.
I’m a baby of the 1950s and my skin has loved this set.
Tips: Use your own spf to top up sun protection
