Thanks BR for letting me review this product! Firstly, I'm a BIG L'Oreal skincare stan, and really love the Revitalift range - especially the serum and the spf 30 day cream for (ahem) mature skin. But I found the Laser x3 just didn't do it for me. The packaging, I really like. Classic L'Oreal styling, very streamlined, heavy glass jar, dark red and grey colouring. Not a huge fan of having to stick my fingers in an open jar, but the container still looks good on my shelf. It's nice and moisturising and sinks in well. Fine for under makeup or by itself. However, the fragrance is extremely cloying and overpowering, with a talcum powdery, floral scent that I associate with extremely elderly people. (Like - I'm mature - but not THAT mature.) Also, the label says its 'an intensive anti-ageing moisturiser', so you'd think the spf would be higher than spf15. I usually use an spf30 every day, so using this made me feel extremely reckless! I think this moisturiser is fine, but there are better ones in the L'Oreal range.

Tips: Wash your hands before using, or use a clean applicator! With the open jar, its easy to transfer bacteria and germs.
I can say the cream feels luxurious and velvety and sinks into my skin but it's not super heavy. However I'm not much of a fan of the fragrance, I wish it was fragrance-free! The cream does have SPF 15 which is a bonus however I do like to apply sunscreen on top for added sun protection. Overall, it's a good option for a day moisturising cream.
Tips: Don't forget about your hands and neck!
I was sent this to review by Beauty Review - thanks for the trial! It comes in heavy red glass jar with a metallic look lid, inside a cardboard box. The size and weight of the jar makes it feel like you get a lot of product - it is in fact 50ml which isn't huge.
The cream inside has a quite a strong, fresh scent. It is more heavily scented than I would like (as is the case with all Loreal products I have used), however this did not upset my skin at all. At first the cream appears really thick in the jar but it actually absorbs very quickly into the skin. I initially thought this would be too heavy to then apply over my dedicated SPF but this was not the case. Here is where this product falls down - SPF15 is really not adequate on its own so I would prefer if there was none in this product at all. This would make it more versatile as you would then be able to use it at night as well.
Despite being hot and humid at the moment, this does not leave me a sticky mess or oil slick at the end of the day. In fact I feel like it absorbs completely into my skin, and I do use quite a generous amount as I also apply to my neck and decolletage. I don't feel like this jar would last me a particularly long time. I have not been able to test this long enough to verify what the long term effects of this cream would be. It does leave my skin soft, plump and glowing when I use it though. I will keep using this until it is finished but I wouldn't purchase this unless it had less fragrance and more SPF.
I found the aroma of the product to be quite strong, though in a nice gentle way.
The texture is very thick, though easily spread and absorbed into my skin - even though my skin is developing oily patches (not as a result of L’Oreal).
I didn’t feel that the product actually achieved anything that the box stated regarding anti-aging, wrinkle reduction etc. I did take before and after photos to compare. But I guess everyone is different!
Even though the product didn’t meet their claims on my skin, I did enjoy using the product daily as a morning moisturiser ,with SPF 15 and will continue using this product.
Thanks so much to Beauty Review for the opportunity to review the Revitalift Laser X3, I’m a huge fan of skincare and was so excited to try this!
I have been starting to use some anti-ageing products in the last year and hadn’t tried any of L’Oreal’s skincare range in the wide pool of anti-ageing creams in the beauty market.
Firstly, I love a day cream with SPF! The Revitalift Laser X3 has SPF 15, so a pretty good one for me as I work in an office but never underestimate the power of the sun even in my short walks from the car to office or out to the cafe at lunchtime.
This cream has a velvety, medium texture and a pleasant scent. I generally tend to use lighter day creams as I have combination skin, but I’ve had no issues with using the Revitalift under my primer and foundation.
I’ve used it every morning and have found it to be quite firming so far, and have noticed a plumpness to my skin. I use a daily scrub to cleanse my face every morning and find that this cream glides on nicely after that.
The Revitalift is definitely hydrating, you certainly feel like you have face cream on after applying and that’s not necessarily undesirable, but I would recommend a lighter textured cream for those with an oily complexion.
Overall, I’ve really enjoyed using the Revitalift Laser X3, I’ve seen an improvement in the elasticity and tone of my skin and would recommend it for those after a serious anti-ageing day cream with SPF!
Tips: You don’t need to apply a lot - spread the cream evenly in circular motion as the instructions suggest. Don’t forget your neck and décolletage too! :)
This is a great addition to my morning routine! A little goes a long way so it will last me for a long time it’s got a nice refreshing fragrance which I like but not for everyone. It’s SPF15 and it did the trick my hyper pigmentation which it says it does. While I will need a couple more weeks to see the full results I really feel it’s doing what it said it will for my skin it seems slightly firmer and just a nicer texture. My crows feet still look the same but I’m hopeful they will be softer after a bit more use. If you like L’Oréal Paris this is worth the money you will spend for it.
I am 36 years old and I have been using this product for the last 10 days. The jar is a 50ml red jar with dark grey lid and contains a pale orange cream that has a pleasant floral almost citrus fragrance. I like that it has SPF 15. This is important in a day cream. After cleansing I applied a little of the cream to my face and it went on pretty well. It stung just a little in a tiny areas a few times on my face and I am not sure why that is but I did not have a flare up or reaction so I continued using the cream. I am not sure if it has done anything for my skin because it has only been 10 days but I will continue to use it and see what it does for wrinkles. I think my skin feels a little more hydrated and could be a little more toned but my complexion is still the same.
Tips: The packaging and whole jar are fully recyclable which is nice
I really enjoyed using this moisturiser. It is a gel like cream that glides on easily, a little goes a long way. I found the instructions to use circular movements when applying were helpful as it aided in quicker absorption of the cream. After waiting a few minutes make up went on well over it. It left my skin feeling well nourished and supple. Fine lines appeared less noticeable. I liked that it had an SPF 15. I would definitely buy this product again and would highly recommend it to others.
Tips: A little goes bit goes a long way, use circular movements when applying for quicker absorption.
So I have been putting off getting a lifting/tightening cream for a while, but after losing some weight in addition to gaining some age, the time has come. This was a pleasing experience. I have definitely seen some strengthening in my skin tone is the 2 weeks I’ve been using it. There is no overpowering scent and the weight of the cream, though heavier than what I’m used to, has not led to a change in my skin balance at all (i.e. no oily or dry patches have developed). I would like to invest in the rest of the range, so the price of it is going to be a hurdle for a Mum or 3 girls, but I would confidently say the investment would be worth it.
Tips: Flip the tub upside down and swipe the moisturiser off the inner lid, if you have long nails like me and don’t like having to dig half the goods out from under them.
This comes in a nice looking red pot with a metallic lid. I'm not a fan of pots you have to dip your fingers into as you contaminate the rest of the product, it would be better to be in a pump or have a dispensing spoon to use it. I found it smelt pleasant and had a nice creamy consistency that sunk into the skin. My favourite foundation did tend to slide off it a bit, and i didnt find it moisturising enough for my mature skin. I needed to add a bit of extra moisturising cream. In the 10 days i tested it , i must say i didnt notice a huge difference in wrinkles or plumpness of my skin, but i will continue to use it and see what difference it makes over a month.
