This product confused me a little at first as I didn’t understand the difference between this and L’Oreal’s other hyaluronic serum. After trying both of them I’ve noticed subtle differences. This serum comes in a light purple transparent glass bottle which I absolutely love and appreciate. Of course it’s better for the environment but I love being able to see how much is left in the bottle and it looks much more luxe than the other serum. I have noticed a fragrance to it which isn’t overly strong but something I know a lot of people try to avoid. I honestly don’t mind the scent though. I have oily aging skin and am always a little worried that any new serum will cause my skin to turn into an oily mess but this did the opposite. I haven’t had to repowder my face at all during the day and my foundation has lasted a record 7 plus hours(and I use several different ones). It also definitely plumped up my deep wrinkle on my forehead but so does the original hyaluronic serum. I have been using this twice daily and under my evening serums at night and it literally soaks into the skin like water. Literally every time I have tried out a new product from L’Oreal over the past 2 years I’m beyond impressed. I will absolutely keep buying this serum as I’ve not tried another serum that keeps my skin so free of oil but also hydrated and plumped.

Tips: An update on March 20th 2020, Wow where do I start. After continuing to use this serum my skin has literally changed before my eyes. I have gone from having oily /combination skin to having normal/combination skin. I’m able to use certain primers that 2 months ago turned my face into a mirror by the end of the day. The deep wrinkle between my brows has plumped up even more than it had when I wrote my original review to the point where I don’t have to use my finger to blend foundation into it (because it’s so deep). This has become my absolute favourite serum and it’s actually replaced one I was paying over $80 for as it literally does a better job. The bottle I was sent has been used twice daily and I still have over half left. So far I haven’t seen it at my local supermarkets but I’ll keep looking as the thought of being without this actually makes me shudder. I can feel the wrinkle throbbing just at the thought of it.
I received this serum as a trial product. The L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler comes in a luminous purple box. The packaging states that it contains 1.5% pure hyaluronic acid, and that it visibly hydrates and smooths, and replumps wrinkles. The box also states that it is for all skin types, it absorbs rapidly, and that it is non-greasy. The directions say to “apply a few drops every day and night to a clean and dry face and neck. Follow up with your face cream.” The serum itself comes in a 30ml glass bottle. The glass is tinted purple. It has a glass dropper in the lid, which you use to apply the serum to your face.
My most visible wrinkles are on my forehead, and between my eyes. This is where I have been applying the serum. I have been using it at night only because, despite having dry skin, I feel that serums are too heavy for daytime. I found that the serum goes on clear and is very easy to apply with the dropper. It allows you to target the serum to certain areas. It has a slight ocean scent, and it is non-greasy and absorbs well.
Despite only using this once a day, instead of twice, I have still noticed an improvement in the lines on my forehead and in between my brows. My skin is looking plumper there, and my lines are less noticeable. Because the serum is quite thick, I have not applied my night cream over the top of it, only to the parts of my face on which I did not use the serum.
I am enjoying using this product. I have noticed a definite change in my skin after using it for the past month: my frown lines are much less noticeable on my forehead and in between my brows. The serum is definitely working as it has plumped out my lines! A little goes a long way too. The bottle is only 30mls, but I have barely made a dent in it over 4 weeks. I will definitely keep on using this.
I LOVED using L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum! I was so excited to be on this trial because my skin was feeling flat, and dull. I was in desperate need of a a skin pick me up!
I was surprised to find that the serum wasn't sticky nor did it leave a yucky residue that some products tend to leave. The bottle was easy to use, and i enjoyed using the dropper to put little drops on my face. I don't know why but it gave the impression that this stuff was the real deal.
I used the serum day and night for a few weeks on my face, and on my decolletage - the results were impressive. My dull flat skin was transformed into fuller, brighter skin. It was exactly the treatment i needed. Not only did my skin start to look much better, but it felt healthier and it helped boost my confidence. This is a product i will be buying again!
Tips: Buy It!
I've been waiting for brands to bring out a Hyaluronic Acid serum for a while. Sure there have been HA creams in the supermarket for a while now, but the concentration of HA has always been lacking.
L'Oreal have really impressed me with their offering! From my research the level of HA in this is enough to make a difference to the skin, meaning we can get salon skin care at a good price.
The glass bottle is beautiful, and matches the L'Oreal Revitalift Filler range well. A classy addition to the vanity.
I've been using this twice a day for a couple of weeks and haven't really used much at all - maybe a quarter of the bottle?
The effects on my skin: soft, supple and a noticable improvement to my crow's feet and fine lines. It's not filled my deeper lines but hey, I'm not expecting miracles overnight!
I'm going to continue using this happily, and if the effects so far continue I'll be looking for it in a supermarket near me!
Inside this fabulous lilac bottle lies a magical elixir to cure your dehydrated skin woes.
Hyperbole? NOPE. Honestly this stuff is just so immensely good I can't find any faults with it! I'm unsure of the price point at the time of writing this review, but I would pay top dollar for it - and that's not something I'll say very often!
I have mature skin and am noticing some sagging and fine lines. With just 2 weeks of use my skin looks fresher, feels firmer and dare I say it, looks more youthful. My complexion is more rosy than ruddy, and I'm finding I don't need to use my heavy day and night creams with this product. It's so hydrating I've been using a lotion instead.
The scent is quite clinical. I like it, and prefer it to florals or herb scents often find in skin care.
I will be telling all of my friends to look out for this, and until it's release I'll be keeping my bottle under lock and key!
Tips: I find using it on damp skin really helps it soak into the skin.
The packaging is top notch - full of information yet easy to read. The box and glass bottle are recyclable, the pipette isn't. 2/3 aint bad.
I used maybe 4-5 drops for my face and neck, I think there is enough product for 6 weeks of using it twice a day.
L'Oreal claims skin will feel immediately hydrated, plump and supple and I can confirm this is true! Everytime I use this I'm pleasantly surprised by how soft my skin feels after just a few minutes.
L'Oreal claims after 1 week skin will 'regain its bounce' and feel firmer and more toned. I'm not sure about bouncy skin, but its fair to say after a week I definitely felt my skin was looking and feeling more refined and definitely less crepey.
The wrinkle reduction is promised to continue over the next 6 weeks, so I'm excited to see the results then, but at the 2 week mark I am very impressed.
I am nearly 40 and have normal to oily skin. This hasn't tipped my skin either to more oily, or to dry, it maintains it's usual balance. It pairs well with the mix of creams I use and doesn't pil under make up.
I'm trying to think of a negative but I'm struggling. Will update my review if anything springs to mind!
I were very excited to be picked for this trial product - the L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler Renew Hyaluronic Replumping Serum, as my skin has been a tad dry during the last few months, so any form of moisture was very welcome as I am experiencing fine lines and multiple skin issues as I nearing the 50 mark. After reading up on the product I could not wait for it to arrive and have a go. It is reported to reduce signs of damage and defects and are designed to protect skin from outside elements. Rich in texture and formula, this silky balm re-plumps skin, defining contours and calming red areas (which in really need). I am like the purple colour of the glass container as it looked really expensive on my dresser, it has a dropper to ensure you only use the minimal amount. Quoted: “It came with an Innovative applicator, that helps to deliver the optimal daily dose of serum. It is designed to protect the formula from air and light so it remains in its purest state” The bottle feels luxurious and are just the right size to fit easily into one’s hand and very stable on my dresser. The packaging matches the colour of the bottle and the L’Oréal branding is standard.
I found a feint smell from the product and found that it feels a little sticky when applying although it is water based but the stickiness disappeared after a few minutes.
I could apply moisturiser and foundation easily and no clumping occurred, and my skin felt bouncier. I saw a noticeable difference in my skin after only a few days! My skin was smoother, plumper and more hydrated and have been using it every day (not nights I’m to lazy). Although I have only used the product for just over 2 weeks, I definitely noticed that my skin looked healthier and that the fine lines around my eyes seemed to disappear, but will like to see the results after 4 weeks, as the pigmentation on my cheeks and the dark circles and hollows under my eyes are much less noticeable already.
Will definitely be recommending this to my friends and family. At $64 from Asos it seems a bit expensive, but I will keep on shopping around for a better price.
Tips: Use only 2-3 drops -- it is more than enough Do not apply to eyelids! Keep out of the direct sun - I store mine in the original packaging inside my dresser drawer
This comes in a 30ml glass bottle with a dropper, a plus that it's recyclable.
Does this do what it claims? Absolutely! The texture of my skin feels smoother and more hydrated, my crows feet are less noticable which is definitely a bonus. If only this was around when I was younger this may have helped to keep those lines away for longer.
The instructions say to use on clean dry skin, however I find that if I splash a little water on my face beforehand the serum glides over my skin and I don't need to use as much. I finish with an eye cream and moisturiser to lock it in. My foundation sits nicely on my skin and my dry patches have reduced too. I'm not sure on the price of this serum but if it's within the same range as the day and night moisturisers it will be a fair price.
Tips: Splash some water on then apply the serum.
I was super excited to be picked for this trial. Thanks BR! I have used hyaluronic acid a few times and quite liked it. I have dry skin so I know it can be very beneficial for me. I really like the packaging, it looks very high end. A nice sturdy 30 ml glass bottle with a dropper. However the lid stopped working after a week and wouldn't screw on tightly which was really annoying. The box has a lot of useful information and directions on how to use.
I have been using this for exactly 2 weeks. The first week I used morning and night then I cut it back to just nights. I cleanse then use a spray toner then apply a few drops of this while my skin is still damp as I have been told that is the best way to apply because hyaluronic acid is a humectant, so if you apply to dry skin it can end up dehydrating you further by drawing the moisture from the deeper layers. Then I apply my normal moisturiser. My foundation sits well on top which is great.
It has quite a masculine fragrance to it, reminds me of lynx shower gel for some reason. It has a lovely light consistency and feels nice on my skin. I get no stinging at all and it dries down with no tacky feeling. A little really goes a long way. When I use a new product it can break me out and thankfully this did not do that.
My skin had dry patches around my nose and I noticed this went away after only a few uses. I am 37 and have fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes and these definitely look softened so I am excited to see the results after longer use.
Overall after just 2 weeks of use my skin looks healthy and hydrated and feels super soft with no dryness whatsoever. I've noticed it is also really smooth which I am loving. This is a lovely serum which I will happily continue to use. I would definitely buy this. I can't seem to find a price for it anywhere so am interested to see how much it costs. A big thumbs up from me.
Tips: Update: After another 3 weeks of continued use I must say I am loving this hyaluronic acid so much. As I look in the mirror I am amazed at what I see! My face is so much smoother in appearance and feels super soft and bouncy. The fine lines on my forehead and around my eye area have dramatically reduced and I'm not sure if it is a coincidence or not but since using this I have noticed I have not had many breakouts at all! My skin is so clear! My redness is also dramatically reduced especially on my cheeks.
It has done wonders for my dry skin. It is now super hydrated and I have not had a dry patch at all while using this. That is crazy as my skin is always dry and flaky. My makeup goes on a million times better and I am finding I am wearing way less and feel more confident going bare face as my skin just looks amazing. I love this hyaluronic acid and will definitely buy it once I have run out. I have only used 1/2 of the bottle so it is great value for money with such great results in a short amount of time. I have had 2 people tell me how amazing my skin looks! That never happens! This is now a staple for me, it is a real game changer and my skin has never looked this amazing! I can't stop raving about this to everyone!
I have been using hyaluronic acid for around 5 months now so was interested to try a different brand and see if i continued to see the same results. My inital impression of this - nice smell, not too overpowering; has a thick consistency, a nice looking bottle and dropper is glass. Dropper tip is quite firm to squeeze so you wont lose/use extra product. Initially i found it hard to get the right amount but once i used the dropper a few times was fine. The first use i found the product quite thick and a little sticky on my skin, it didnt seem to absorb very quickly and was hard to spread an oil over top of this. It was trial and error to get the right amount but once i got this it went on much easier and seems less sticky. My skin feels soft and smooth and since starting using hyaluronic acid, has alot less dryness; for the first time in my life zero dry patches! Personally i think it is a miracle cure for dry skin
Update: i have continued to use this twice a day, my skin is soft, nourished and i have only had 1 dry patch which lasted one day! This is unheard of for me especially when there is a change of seasons which always brings dry skin. I love hyaluronic acid its truely amazing for your skin.
Tips: Use twice a day, only use a few drops and lightly smooth over skin. I find using an oil is great overtop at night to seal it in. The dropper is quite hard but with a few squeezes loosens up.
