I got this as part of a trial and so wanted it to deliver on its promises........I am still hopeful. Firstly I love the cool feel of it straight from the bottle, however, I think that it initially delivers too much serum, so I ended up using my finger to redistribute the serum around my eyes.. I does dry rather sticky, and for this reason, I was unable to use it in the mornings as even when using a primer my makeup just didn't sit right around my eyes. My foundation looked like it was peeling and was a bit cakey in the eye area - not a good look. So I just used it at night, and while I like the 3 ball roller, it does bend and a couple of times I was scratched by the plastic where it bends (possibly user error). Overall I haven't noticed any difference, but will persevere with it and definitely use it twice a day on days when I am not wearing makeup. Disappointed.

I found this product lovely to the touch and it applied beautifully to my skin. In terms of results I felt there were very little and infact I experienced breakouts after using this. I am worried that marketing this as a “filler” is incredibly misleading if it is not going to produce visible results.
L'Oreal Paris revitalise filler eye serum. Unusual for an eye treatment, neither a cream or gel but liquid. Glass container is good because you can see how much product you have left. The applicator is odd, has 3 metal balls on the end that don't move so they don't actually massage your skin they just kind of rub the product on,and I found that I had to keep re-dipping it to get plenty of product on it or it would drag on my skin, and then I found it ran down my cheeks a bit after application, and went through a sticky phase for a while before drying. There was no scent that I could detect. I didn't have any allergic reaction to it which is good because I have dry, sensitive, fair skin. Unfortunately for me it didn't seem to make any difference, although in saying that I didn't have the full 2 weeks to test it as it arrived late,so maybe over time it may have done something. I wouldn't recommend this to a friend as it didn't do anything for me.
Pros I didn't have any allergic reaction to it,this is a bonus as I have sensitive skin.
Tips: Make sure you have plenty of product on the applicator or it will pull on your skin.
Packaging great Product is in a glass bottle - applicator has 3 stainless steel balls which I thought was a great invention. Upon application there was too much product which seemed a waste. It was hard to control application of product due to it's liquid consistency. I applied to my under eye and eye lid by rolling the applicator back and forth. I patted in the excess until it dried. My eyelids ended up a bit stiff until it completely soaked in. I haven't noticed much of a difference to my under eye area, although I don't have that much of a problem with bags or wrinkles, as I was using an eye cream before the trial which is great. My under eye area did shine a bit from the glossy look of the product One thing I will rate it for is its a great base under eyeshadow and makes your eye make up "pop" more so that was a bonus. Other than that I wouldn't say it really did alot for me. I would refer to a friend to try if they weren't using an alternative but I wouldn't purchase this product.
Tips: Great as a base under eyeshadow - made my eye makeup 'pop"
Love the packaging and the little rollers are nice and feel great in the morning. Serum did not irritate my eyes or dry skin. I have found other eye products can dry my eye area. Wrinkles are not my main eye issue, it did wake my eye area up and may have slightly smoothed out some fine lines? Dark circles just the same. Personally I would prefer something firming for late 30s+ Also slightly sticky so if you don't wear a lot of make up and just a bit of mascara (toddler mama here) then it can make your eyeliner/mascara run.
Tips: Let it really dry before applying eye make up.
Dab rollers around both eyes first and then roll for even application.
I was excited to receive Revitalift Filler Eye Serum from L’Oréal Paris to review as I have never used a specialised eye serum before.
It has a really interesting applicator wand with stainless steel beads. These have a beautiful cooling and refreshing effect on the skin, however, I would have preferred just one bead as the wand is slightly awkward to use and I end up getting serum halfway down my cheek.
The texture of the serum is very light and it absorbs quickly into the skin. Eye cream and then concealer layer effectively over the top.
I have enjoyed trialling this eye serum as my under eyes are looking much more refreshed and hydrated. I would have given 4 stars had it not been for the awkward applicator.
Tips: Hold the applicator at an angle so that you are only using one of the beads to apply the product. That makes it easier to manoeuvre.
I love rituals so I was delighted with the instructions for use with this eye serum. Circular motions under the eye, followed by a sweep where the crease of the eyelid meets the brow bone and finished with activation of pressure points. Using this serum feels like a treat. The metal ball bearings providing soothing coolness which is a perfect way to combat the dry heat provided by the heatpump in our house. I can imagine it will feel equally as good after a big night out or for itchy allergy eyes over hayfever season. With no fragrance I could detect, no negative reaction to the product, the attractive, no wastage packaging and the soothing serum applied with steel balls, L’Oreal’s Paris Revitalift Eye Serum is off to a great start but do my eyes look 5 years younger? Unfortunately no. But in saying that, because it does feel so good when my eyes are tired I will use the whole bottle. So would I recommend it? For someone who is looking for a soothing product, yes. For someone wanting to turn back time; no.
Tips: I did notice it’s easy to get a little too much product over the eye area (I may have over indulged in the delight of the cold metal against my skin) but a gentle pat (no rubbing) with a make up remover pad after the care ritual easily takes care of that.
I was excited for this product as I love other items in the range. Similar to other products in the range it comes in a square glass bottle which comes in a box which the applicator lid that has 3 small beads which I wish was only two as I felt 3 was to much and clear thin product would drip and cover to much area which the length of 3 beads I feel as if 2 would have been more controllable.
I had high hopes as the first time I put it on I pretty much instantly felt the skin pulling tighter as the product dried. Thus could have been the replumping, However I haven’t noticed to much different to the lines or dark circles which is disappointing I am still hopeful that with ongoing use I may notice more difference and will add to my review.
Tips: Wipe applicator to avoid excessive dripping
If you are looking for a cooling eye serum to freshen up the skin, this is what you need. However, besides the cooling and enjoyable to use on the eye area, I could not really see the de-puffing effects around my eye area. It did hydrate the eye area delicately and it did feel very lightweight and absorbed easily.
Tips: You could use this roller applicator with other eye creams and eye gels if you already have one that you enjoy.
I really wanted to like this. I was excited as it sounded different with the ingredients and application. Let's start with the packaging. I had to read various times just to make sure I was using the applicator correctly as it just didn't feel right. The bottle looked great, the wand with three beads looked hi tech I was really hyped to try. Once I tried it I found it too dry on the wand. So I put more on to get a slip. The suggested movements under my eye area moved the skin around. I didn't like that I was doing this to the delicate eye area. I've always been gentle around here and only pat press with my ring finger. No matter how much was on the wand it still dragged my eye area. I gave up doing the suggested application and just pressed it on the area. I then followed further instructions and applied over lid and to the acupressure points. Once again this felt harsh on the eye area. With the amount of product I had to put on it dripped down my face and I had to resort to using my fingers. In the end as I wanted to keep using the product I applied with my fingers. This still left the eye area uncomfortable. It felt dehydrated and tight. Did I see any difference? No I don't think the time frame was enough time to see results. I actually think it made my eye area look more lined from dehydration. Very disappointed as I'm always wanting to try anything to help ageing around the eye area to slow down.
Tips: I got my 20 year old daughter to try. She found it easier to use. Perhaps it's great for youthfully eyes with firmness around their eyes.
