L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser Pure Retinol Night Serum

I was sceptical . . . . a product that says on trial 100% of women saw a huge reduction in wrinkles is setting itself some high expectations. Especially with my 'late 40s' skin. However, I have been amazed, specifically my 'crows feet', they have definitely reduced after 6 or so applications. The product itself is super easy to use with the dropper and with 3 drops it covered my face and neck so therefore very economical. I didn't have any tingling, which is possible on certain skin types, so progressed quickly to using twice a week, then three times a week. I used at night and in the morning my skin had a 'silky' feel to it which is the first time with any product I've experienced this. This is a product I will forever use . . . . it does exactly what it says!

To be honest I’ve been really basic with my skincare. All I do is cleanse and moisturise for both day and night. I used to tone and use serums but I pulled it right back because I find it easier for me to commit to this.

L’oréal serum comes in a thick deep blue bottle with dropper. Consistency is creamy with a lightly musk fragrance .

After Cleansing I like to put this serum on . I leave it on for roughly 30 minutes to absorb into my skin. For others this time might be less. After it’s absorbed I put my night cream on and wait for that to absorb.

My results is my skin feels hydrated . Fine lines still visible. I’m lucky my day cream has spf in it I believe after using this serum your skin becomes sensitive.

Overall it was a lovely addition to my skincare . Thank you BR for this trial . I’ll be watching out for further results.

I am finding this product difficult to rate and review because only having 3 weeks to trial it I feel is not long enough, with the first week only using it 2 nights, second week every other night and 3rd week nightly.

However, I have noticed a slight improvement in my skin texture after the 3 weeks and it does look a little plumper so the claim to visibly renew skin appears to be true so I'm really looking forward to continued use of this product to "correct all signs of aging"!

The serum is a creamy, thickish white and smells divine. Just 3-4 drops is enough for the whole face and neck. It's a biggish glass bottle with 30ml so would last for a while.

This product also claims with continued use, in 4 months there will be a visible reduction of deep wrinkles, reduced by 36%. That's quite exciting and I really hope so!

It is a lovely serum to use, so definitely give it a try, and at around $50 (Farmers) it is excellent value for your dollars.

I was so happy to trial this product. It was so easy to use and follow. I used it as instructed by slowly introducing it to my skin just to see how my skin would react and it was perfectly fine so was really happy about that. It's a real good size bottle and the colour of the product and packaging is kept in line with their other product ranges. The texture is white and quite thin and rubs on your skin very easily and smoothly. You need to make sure you put it on the areas you wish for it to work and make sure you dont get it in your eyes. Once applied it made me feel like I was starting to get rid of those wrinkles that had just started forming. To be honest though I havent seen huge progress yet, but will continue to use as directed as things take time and I think in the long run it will definitely do its job. I do recommend this product as it's easy to use and makes your skin feel really good and knowing what its purpose is makes me feel great.

This serum comes in a gorgeous blue glass bottle, the applicator dropper is easy to use it’s nice and narrow and it is easy to drop the right amount onto your face without using too much product. It has a beautiful light fresh fragrance. I used this the first two nights twice a week, the second time I used it I got a slight reaction of redness and a little dry skin around my chin area. But my skin got used to it quickly and haven’t had that since. I have been using it every night after cleansing, making sure it’s well away from my eye area. It is lovely and smooth and light feeling which absorbs into your skin quickly and doesn't leave it feeling greasy. I feel is isn’t quite long enough to know really what the results are like after two weeks but my skin feels smoother and a little more even toned. I look forward to seeing what it’s like after using the whole bottle.

I loved this! Firstly the packaging is great and I love using the dropper. I started off using this every other night so that my skin could get used to it but now I am using this every night and I really love it. The formula is light and non greasy and absorbed easily into my skin. My skin tone looks a lot more even and clearer and I’ve noticed a changed in the texture as well, more smoother and feels a lot more hydrated. Love it!

I was excited to try this product just to see if it made any difference. Comes in a really nice blue bottle with a drop dispenser so easy to use. Has a very faint smell, not overpowering. On week one I used for two nights only as advised. This is because it takes your skin a while to get used to the retinol. Second week, I used every second night. Just use a couple of drops and rub into your skin, a little bit goes a long way. I found it was a little sticky when I first put it on but dried soon after. Make sure it is dry before you add your night cream. I can honestly say that I havent seen a difference to my skin. Is this because I need to be using it longer. It says on week three that you can use nightly if tolerated. It can react to some peoples skin types. I will keep using it as my skin hasnt reacted at all and see if I notice any difference to my fine lines. On the instructions it does state that wrinkles look reduced after 4 months so will keep on using. Fingers crossed

I looked forward to reviewing this product because it contains 0.2% pure Retinol which I know is such a powerful ingredient in a skin care regime. I followed the initial instructions and am now using it nightly and have experienced no side effects as suggested on the box. It has a creamy consistency and is easy to apply - I am using 4-5 drops and it absorbs well. The product is well presented and the lid is very secure. I apply it at night after cleansing to my warm and slightly damp face and it absorbs well, and it doesn’t make my face feel uncomfortably sticky and tight like other serums I have used. My skin is feeling more supple, smoother and tighter already and I have noticed particularly that the creepy skin around my eye area has softened and lessened already. Overall my face is looking plumper and my wrinkles are less prominent. It is still early days but I really am really pleased with what I see so far and am looking forward to working my way through the bottle with more pleasing results as time goes on. I would certainly recommend it to others - why wouldn’t I when the box says - 0.2% Retinol Delivered Straight To The Skin !

This magical wee serum comes in a stylish blue bottle and promises to do great things! I followed the instructions about staging use for the first week or so - retinol can irritate skin. I didn't experience any irritation at all, but I'm glad I staged the introduction of the product just to be sure. I used at night prior to moisturiser. The serum is white and glides nicely on to the skin. It does have quite a strong perfumy smell, which I don't love, but I'm willing to ignore for the results! Almost immediately, I noticed that my skin was smoother after using the serum. The next morning my skin looked glowing and felt smooth. Given these promising results, I'm excited about what the other benefits that this promises. I've given this one a 4 because I think it needs a bit more time to really determine the true rating. It will be interesting to review again in 4-5 months to see whether lines and wrinkles have faded.
