A thick, rich night cream that applies easily as long as you don't apply too much product. After applying for a few weeks I think my face and neck do appear to be tighter but am unsure if any wrinkles have decreased. My skin is not dry in the morning, so i know that it is being moisturized overnight. Over all an ok cream for the price but I don't think it lives up to all its claims.

Tips: Don't expect miracles but a great cream nonetheless.
The night cream comes in a glass square jar, the product does smell slightly stronger, and is a thicker consistency. Waking in the morning my skin felt hydrated, smooth and did look more plump. I did have the odd break out which has settled with use.
Loved the product and enjoyed opening the packaging which looked expensive due to the heavy glass jar. Positive: My skin felt moist and comfortable after applying (not immediately). I woke up in the morning without excess grease residue. No breakouts which does tend to happen when I use antiageing night creams. Negatives: I did not like the texture too thick and tacky. It did absorb quite quickly but felt sticky being applied. The fragrance was not good either with the scent reminding me of cheap air freshener. Fiddly square lid which was awkward to close. Would I use again? Yes if I see results So far my skin feels comfortable and is clear but I will need a few more weeks to see visible results.
I love the stackable containers which took up no room at all on my dresser and that's a great bonus.
I enjoyed the texture of the night cream and like the heavier yet non greasy consistency of the cream. I found applying it after my evening shower did tend to trap the moisture in my skin and I really felt it was more hydrated.
I love the slight difference in colour between the day and night cream because at my age it's another visual reminder of which cream I should be using when, so too was the colour on the potties indicating which was which.
I didn't notice any visible difference in my fine lines, but hope it stopped a few more!!
What I didn't particularly like was the fragrance, it was a little too strong for me and I could smell it for ages afterward. Although not unpleasant I found it a bit overbearing for my tastes.
I will continue to use it in conjunction with the day cream and the cream and see if changes in the firm Ess and elasticity of my skin improve with more time
I was lucky enough to get this night cream in the vault with a matching eye cream. I love L'Oreal products and night creams so that was lucky for me.
The cream comes in a classy, easy-to-use, screw top pot. I know they're not everyone's bag, but I like pots because I don't need a scientist to tell me how to open them the first time!
The product is moderately thick, white, and as I've commented on the eye cream, exactly the same colour, texture, and scent as Ponds cream. That's not an insult. I love Ponds creams and used them for years when I was young - for removing stage make-up to moisturising, and I always had great skin, so that's a great compliment to this product. After using some fabulous creams recently though, I know there are others with a texture and scent that I like more for my mature skin. However, this product does hydrate my skin and it does look and feel quite smooth. If I was younger it would suit me more than the heavier creams, but nowadays the heavy creams are more my bag. That's not a reflection of the product, but more about the age of my skin. I do find myself being very heavy handed with it and will be lucky to have gotten three weeks out of it once it's finished.
I note other people both here and under the eye cream, have commented that the scent is heavy, but I can't say I found it so. It's quite pleasant, and for me, carries that nice memory of using Ponds in my youth.
I wouldn't purchase this product again, although I do think it is a good product, but certainly recommend it to younger women.
I picked this up in my grocery shop a couple of months ago now . I enjoy using a night cream as part of my daily routine. My skin is ageing and I have uneven skin tone . I was looking for something hydrating and soothing at the same time .
This comes in a 50 ml jar . Solid white glass jar . Nothing special going on with the labelling . Consistency is moderate to thick creamy has a strong musky scent to it . I like how it doesn’t have an oily residue left behind . It’s great for my skin. I like to apply this to my skin after having had a shower. It soaks into my skin nicely. I use it sparringly . I’ve managed to get a good two months out of it. I’m finally hitting the bottom of my jar. I’ll be looking for a new night cream soon.
After using this my skin felt hydrated . I didn’t notice any firming on my lines on my forehead and under my eyes. I didn’t expect a miracle though. I did enjoy using it every night. Would I buy it again. Probably not because my skin changes as the years go by.
I was reluctant to stop using my normal night cream as I’m pretty obsessed with it but went cold turkey and used this every night since it arrived. It comes in a heavy glass jar (like the other 2 products I was sent) which I loved straight away. It felt lovely and thick and was easily absorbed. I use a Rosehip Oil every second night and this worked beautifully with that. My skin is not sensitive but can be acne prone and I did find in the first 2 weeks of using this night cream my skin broke out. I would wake up in the morning with a few large pimples although they did clear up pretty quickly. This cream has very little fragrance which I love and apart from the small breakouts I would use again. I did notice a difference in my fine lines and friends have commented on my skin not knowing I’ve been trialling these products. This retails at around $33 at the supermarket but I saw it on special today at Countdown for $19. If you’re after a decent night cream at a great price then definitely try this one out. I will use this again but will probably switch it up with my other night cream.
Tips: This broke my skin out but this did settle after 2 weeks so if you can handle a few spots then its worth persevering
I received this as part of the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Regime trial and have to say it was definitely my favourite product of the 3 I trialed. It was practically like applying 8 hours sleep and 2 litres water to your face, but much easier.
The white cream came in a white glass jar with a red lid and was the thickest textured cream of the 3 I used. There was a bit of a fragrance to it that lasts for a while after application. It is pleasant however would rather it was fragrance-free.
You don't need to scoop out great globs of this cream, just a small amount massaged into your skin before bed and after taking the day off your face is all that is required.
My skin instantly felt hydrated, supple and plump and looked and felt softer than before application. Unfortunately, the results don't appear to be permanent but I don't expect them to be really. Of the 3 products, this will be the first one I repurchase as I really believe in rich night creams for those of us with 40+ skin.
I love night creams. It's so nice to know that you're doing something good for skin without actually doing anything! This night cream from L'Oreal is a really safe choice. The scent isn't too overpowering, the packaging is simple and clean, and the results are pretty standard. I've had a few problems with retinol products in the past, but this one didn't react with my skin at all. It left my skin feeling soft and supple with no greasiness and no messy pillowcases. I didn't notice much of a difference with my fine lines and wrinkles, but tbh, I really think that's the case for an inexpensive department store brand. The tubs are on the small side, but because you don't need a lot of product, I think it's quite good value for money! I'd recommend this product if you're new to night creams, or looking for a present for your Mum :)
Tips: You don't need a lot of product, especially if you're applying it to warm skin (like after a shower or something.) So don't dollop, or you'll waste it!
The night cream comes in a great size square glass jar. The cream is quite thick so again only a small amount is required. Applied at night after cleansing I again felt the cream was too thick for me as even after using only a small amount my skin felt heavy and looked shiny. The scent to me was quite strong and wasn't to my liking as I was able to smell it for a long time after applying.
Tips: Only use a small amount
