When I first saw this mystery product, I'm not going to deny it, my heart sank a little. I have had mixed results from L'Oreal skin care products before. My skin can be quite reactive and new products need to be introduced slowly. Reading the ingredient list didn't help. With scary sounding words like "Glucoside", "capryloyl salicyclic acid" & "caprylyl glycol" I wondered what I had let myself in for. However, i was prepared to take one for the team, (that's you guys), so decided to go for it. In a 59 ml jar, the cream inside is white coloured and has a subtle, non-descript scent. Light in texture I was very pleasantly surprised at how well my skin absorbed this. Aimed at the 45+ market, it claims to fill wrinkles and lift and firm the skin. My (ahem, 48 year old) skin, doesn't have a lot of wrinkles but the few lines that are there did appear reduced slightly. I haven't noticed any firmer skin but that may change over time. My skin appears fresher. No sticky residue, no greasy after effects, $20 rrp...how can you go wrong? Well done L'Oreal. I would recommend this to any women of a certain age that wants an effective moisturiser at a great price.

L'Oreal Paris Wrinkle Expert 45+ Reviews
The anti-wrinkle firming day cream for contains Retino-Peptide to help improve skin smoothness and firmness. It visibly reduces signs of ageing including wrinkles, loss of firmness and dryness.
Reviews
Tips: Given that this product contains aha/bha ingredients and also retinol, a good sunscreen is definitely recommended. My only gripe, is that there should be a recommendation on the packaging explaining this point.
I am shy of 50 and have sensitive dry skin in the Summer time. I am trying as much as possible to take good care of my skin by having a good hygiene, a good diet, and by using products that suit me. I have been using the new Wrinkle Expert 45+ by l'Oréal Paris for a few weeks. The cream contains some retino-peptides, which are a powerful complex of Pro Retinol A and peptides. I am convinced. The results are as good as the cream I am currently using and costs 4 times less. The consistency of the cream is good, not too fluid or too thick. It is easy to get the right amount on my finger in one go. I personally use a full teaspoon of cream to cover my face and neck. It penetrates quickly and leaves my skin fresh and radiant. I can easily apply my foundation cream soon after or just leave my skin as is. The best outcome for me is that the cream hydrates my skin for 24 hours. I can see that the elasticity of my skin has improved. I tested the cream while biking and hiking. It did the job and the cream didn't run down my cheeks. The cream is lightly scented. The smell lasts only a few minutes. Using the cream daily, I estimate that the 50 ml pot will last me 2 months. The packaging is simple. The giftbox has a PAP recycling logo, the pot is made of glass. I am not sure however if the lid can be recycled. I would definitely recommend Wrinkle Expert 45+ to my friends. It definitely hydrates my skin and keeps it soft and supple.
Tips: Apply in small circular motions, that way you give yourself a nice face massage :-)
I was a little nervous about trying this product because I've had some mixed reactions with retinol products, but my fears were unfounded - I didn't break out once! First up, the packaging is classic L'Oreal, very refined and classy. I'm not overly keen about tubs of product you can stick germy fingers into, but at least I was able to get every last smear. I did find the fragrance quite overpowering at first. It's not horrible - sort of a creamy, floral sort of scent, but I did think it was a bit much for a day cream. Speaking of which, I prefer day creams to have an SPF in them - considering this was an 'anti-wrinkle' product, I would have thought an SPF would be mandatory. I ended up using this as a night cream based on this reason, and also because I thought it might work wonders on me overnight! It's quite thick too, so as a night cream it worked well. My skin was a little rough for the first few days, but soon smoothed out. I am hesitant to say it reduced any obvious lines, but my skin definitely has a nicer texture about it. I'm also not sure how much actual active ingredients it has in it - based on the fact I tend to break out with retinol-based products, and didn't with this at all. Overall, it's a nice product and looks quite expensive and pretty, but don't expect miracles :)
Tips: If you have oily skin, try it as a night cream or your makeup will slide right off your face!
The L'Oreal Wrinkle Expert comes in a glass jar which always seems more luxurious that an plastic one. The cream has a lovely spring like fragrance and has a creamy silky texture. This type of texture is lovely on my skin as a lot of creams absorb instantly on my skin and feels tight. This cream certainly didn't do this which I was so happy about. My skin had a nice dewy look and was not greasy at all. My skin also didn't go oily as the day progressed. The cream did visibly reduce the signs of very fine wrinkles I think more because of the dewy texture more than correcting the wrinkles. After saying that, I did like the appearance of my skin while using it. At $19.99 it is really good value for money and would recommend it to anyone.
Tips: Only use a small pea size amount as it does do a good cover of the face and neck and would be a waste to use more.
I was so excited to recieve this product, feeling a little like a secret spy agent waiting for my secret package. I had a feeling it would be a L’Oréal product as they always develop new skincare technology often, so I was delighted to receive the L'Oréal Wrinkle Expert - Forming Cream Day 45+. I have used lots of similar products before so I had high expectations, and I was not disappointed. The cream has such a lovely, delicate scent to it and also a lovely thick creamy consistency. I applied in the mornings, after I cleansed my skin. With the product being so thick you don’t have to use so much of it so I really liked that. I usually apply serums before my moisturiser, however to get the full effect of this product, I omitted them. The cream absorbs easily and left my skin feeling very soft, refreshed and hydrated. I havent noticed that my skin has reduced wrinkles or that its improved the firmness but it does feel more nourished and brighter. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and I shall also be continuing to use it myself
Tips: It's quite a hydrating product so you don't need very much product, a little goes a long way!
I have been using this trial pot anti wrinkle & firming cream for the 45-55 age group, for 3 weeks so far. Inside the L'Oreal white box, the cream comes in a glass pot and is reasonably thick, with a pleasant smell. It easily absorbs, is not greasy, and the skin feels nourished and firmer afterwards. No sensitivity issues. Less than half the pot has been used after 3 weeks of applying every morning, so good value per use. Apply with clean fingers or use a spatula/applicator if you like things a bit more hygienic. I have been pleasantly surprised by the results. The wrinkles particularly around the eye, forehead and neck are quite a bit softer & the overall effect makes me look and feel younger. I will continue to use the cream, and will be looking into the other L'Oreal products being trialled by others, for release in NZ soon.
Tips: Use some on the back of your hands as well to match your younger look!
L'Oreal Paris Wrinkle Expert day cream promises a lot....... to improve skin smoothness and firmness. Visibly reduces signs of aging including wrinkles, loss of firmness, and dryness. I have normal to dry skin and I'm 52. I was keen to trial this product as I don't normally use a day cream. After trialing this for an extended period I remembered why. I'm not sure why but day creams seem to make my skin very oily and sit on the surface rather than sinking in. This cream was no different. I found it difficult to penetrate into the skin. it left a film on my face so that when I put on makeup it smeared the whole effect. An hour later the cream rubbed off in moist flakes. I persevered for a couple of weeks but didn't seem to be able to find a way to overcome this. As a result of these initial difficulties I did not find any perceivable changes to my skin. I am eager to read other reviews to see if any other users have this problem. At this stage I will stick with my night cream
Safe to say I was very excited to be given the opportunity to trial this pre-release product. The packaging is what I would expect from this brand and looks more expensive than the price point.
I like to really slather on moisturizer but with this product, I only needed a small portion to get that well-covered feeling. The moisturizer goes on and absorbs well. It instantly improved any dryness without giving an oily feel and is a fantastic base for applying make-up after. The smell is pleasant and not overwhelming.
This moisturizer claims to hydrate for 24 hours which I agree with. It also claims to smooth wrinkles and improves firmness, I didn't have a big noticeable change however my skin did feel smoother.
The only thing that would improve this product for me would be the addition of SPF. Considering we are entering summer this isn't such an issue as it best to apply a high separate SPF anyway. I would recommend this moisturizer to anyone wanting a cream that is hydrating and smoothing at a good price.
Tips: Apply a sunscreen along with this moisturizer.
So great to see a product for my age group! I have used all sorts of moisturisers in the past...including some L'Oreal, which I believed to be over priced for what they did. But if RRP is only $19.99, I will definitely be buying this product. The scent is pleasant - not over powering for my allergy prone nose. The first dip into the jar was a luxurious experience. The cream is ....well..creamy and light to touch. And a little really does go a long away in case you were worried by the pot being only 50ml of content.
I have a combination skin and was worried this product might cause me to break out in the oil areas. But no such thing happened. The cream was easily absorbed and the result is all day hydration. Even when I get home from work, my skin still feels moist and soft. I also believe this extra moisture has plumped my skin up as well for a younger look. Maybe this ties in with the soothing/relieving of wrinkles.
The only negative thing I wonder about is why they haven't included some degree of sun protection in the cream...as it is a day cream. Maybe this wouldn't work with the other ingredients.....but it is something I would certainly appreciate.
Overall thrilled with this product and highly recommend.
Tips: A little does go a long way.
This product is marketing the 45+ age group so is fairly obviously an anti-aging product. I was very pleased to be part of this trial as I love trying new skin care products especially anti-aging ones & seeing if they live up to their promises. This is an anti-wrinkle firming day cream. It is developed to: - reduce wrinkles (in 85% of women) - firms the skin (in 96% of women) - nourish skin (in 98% of women) So, does it live up to its promises? First of all the packaging is fine; a glass pot which makes it easier to access the cream. It smells very nice - a lovely fresh fragrance & not too overpowering. Also a great texture to this cream. I did keep a close eye on my fine wrinkles but did not notice a massive difference as yet; but am keeping positive as I have only been using it for 2 weeks & the blurb says to give it 4 weeks. It definitely firms the skin & it really does feel silky smooth & I think my skin looks much better too. One of the main bonuses for me it that the cream feels lovely & light on the skin. Often products for mature skin are just so heavy (in order to moisturise) they feel revolting. This kept my skin nicely hydrated all day but without feeling greasy. This is another plus point. The cream is absorbed really well so that it does it's (anti-aging) job within the skin & also moisturises. So, in a nutshell - I really liked this product & will definitely continue to use it. I am hopeful that my fines lines will reduce. It is a trusted brand that I have used many times in the past & again will continue to do so. I think this product has a place in the market & will recommend it to my friends.
Tips: Worth trying; I think it will have many converts.
