I have to say I am pleasantly surprised at how hydrating this cream is. In winter my skin tend to dry out and flake somewhat, but this product brought it under control.
I love the smell and can see a big differencd in my skin elasticity. It glides on well and absorbs easily.

L'Oreal Paris Wrinkle Expert 45+ SPF 20 is a luscious moisturiser which I was excited to trial and review.
My first impression was "wow" as the moisturiser is packaged in a glass jar that makes the product look like its high quality and it also looks elegant displayed on my bathroom vanity.
The moisturiser has a gorgeous creamy texture without feeling heavy on my ageing, slightly dehydrated skin. It absorbed easily without leaving a greasy residue and provided a perfect base for my foundation. After a week of use, my skin felt firmer and looked more youthful.
The scent is delicate which is a bonus because highly scented products can irritate my skin, even if they are not designed for the eye area. An additional benefit is the addition of the SPF 20 as I believe we can never get enough sunscreen all year around to protect our skin from the ageing rays of the sun.
I definitely recommend those who are looking for a new anti ageing skin moisturiser give this L'Oreal Paris Wrinkle Expert 45+ SPF 20 a try! I will certainly enjoy continuing to use it as part of my daily routine.
Tips: Wait 10 minutes after applying to use foundation as this will ensure that the moisturiser has been fully absorbed into the skin.
This product has a lovely consistancy and does not leave the fact feeling greasy. You also do not need to use too much of this product, you only need a small amount. Love that fact it is SPF 20, this makes a difference when purchasing. I would definitely say my face looks a bit fresher, and fine lines slightly less visible.
Tips: Do not overuse and waste product, you do not need alot, as the consistancy is lovely.
The strong scent was the first thing I noticed when I opened the jar. It's not a scent I'm averse to, nor is it something I like, just strong, so I was a little worried that I might get headache from it (happened with other creams in the past). Happy to say the scent seemed to die down after a while and my skin didn't react to it. It doesn't cause acne or cystic pimples either, which is good!
I love the consistency, it's somewhere between cream and lotion. I find I have to wait for it to settle first before applying my usual foundation and powder, otherwise I end up with a face full of powder dots. I think the sunscreen property makes it goes balling. I found tiny bits of white things whenever I tried to use my face massager to spread it around. So this cream is definitely something that's meant to be applied by fingers and doesn't work well as a primer.
I haven't noticed any reduced appearance of fine wrinkle nor reduction of age spot yet. I do notice that the new pigmentation caused by hormonal acne seemed to fade quicker than usual - not sure if it's because of this cream or because of the vit. C serum I've been using. Could be a combo of both!
I think the cream is more suitable for someone with dry rather than combo skin. It somehow accentuates the size of my pores.
I personally find a pump packaging would have been easier to use rather than a glass jar, lesser chance of contaminating the content, and easier to judge how much to use.
I'm already using half of the 50ml jar in the 3 weeks I've been using it, for my face and neck. I guess purchasing one every 2 months is good value considering it has already contained sunscreen.
I would keep on using the whole jar, but won't be repurchasing as I need morning cream that could settle quickly under my foundation.
Tips: Might not be suitable for people who dislike strong scent.

I have noticed my fine lines looking far better around my eyes after using this product over the last few weeks. It leaves my skin fully hydrated and it absorbs and gives me good moisture all day without being greasy.
I will say my winter dry skin feels soft and still moist. And there is a lovely scent.
I look forward to seeing further improvements over the coming months
What I like the most about this cream is the price. For the price you get a good size tub of a thick, relatively pleasant smelling (quite floral) cream that smooths into skin well and contains SPF (20) so you're lightly protected from the sun during the day. I'm not sure I saw a significant decrease in wrinkles, but I think some of my age spots appear lighter after using for a few weeks. It's non-oily so makeup can be applied once it's soaked in (if you use too much that will take a while)
Tips: Don't be too heavy handed, it's a thick cream but a little goes quite a long way.
The number one thing I love about Loreal face creams is that they have SPF factors but don't smell like sunscreen. This product again meets that brief and has a very pleasant smell.
Like all Loreal creams this product comes in a glass jar, and a little goes a very long way. The product is creamy, applies easily and absorbs quickly. I apply this product in the mornings to my freshly cleansed skin and under my foundation.
At the end of the first week I noticed my skin looking a little more glow-ier, and less dull. At the end of the second week I noticed that my skin tone was looking more uniform and the redness I normally have on my face was reduced.
By the end of week four there has definitely been an improvement in my skin tone and appearance, both on my face and on my neck. I'm starting to get 'sun-cleavage' wrinkles and these also have become less noticeable. I'm sure the product would last longer if I didn't apply it to my neck and cleavage, but seeing the results I'm glad I have :)
Overall I am very happy with how this product has performed during the time I have been using it, and the fact it has results that you can see is a big tick in the pro's column.
I will definitely be purchasing this product once my current jar is finished, and would recommend it to my family and friends.
Tips: The glass jars that Loreal products come in are so handy to recycle, I use them in my craft room for all sorts of bits and pieces, and also for my candle making :)

I think this is an amazing face cream, especially given its price point of around $17! It has the feel and results of a much more expensive cream.
My skin feels so much firmer and I've noticed an improvement to the age spots on the back of my hands (I waste nothing haha, this is rubbed into my hands after use!). My eye wrinkles seem lessened, and my skin on the whole looks and feels brighter.
If you're a 40-something who just needs a good all-rounder, I don't think you can really go wrong with this!

When I googled to check the price point I was floored. It's under $20, and it is a really, really good cream.
My skin is more even in texture, and so much brighter. I think it feels firmer and looks plumper. I love it!
The only reason I marked this down on 'would you use it again' is that I'm a bit of a product floozy, and like to try new products!
L'Oreal puts out a huge range of products and they seem to always be true to their claims. The L'Oreal Paris Wrinkle Expert 45+ SPF 20 claims to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, improve firmness and reduce the appearance of age spots. I have been using the cream for 10 days and it has so far been true to all of the claims it makes.
The cream itself is light and faintly scented (the scent reminds me of my Grandmother's facial products) and goes on smoothly, working well under makeup. It has an SPF 20 so I have been using it in the morning on my face and neck, but not at night (but I'm sure it is fine for night). It has made my skin soft, reducing wrinkles and lightening the few discoloration spots that I have. I am surprised that a cream can have such outstanding results in such a short timeframe.
The cost of the cream is affordable at $17 for a 50 ml glass jar and less expensive than any other facial cream products that I've used. The perfect product for those who want to take a simple step in their skin care regime or add to a more complex skincare regime. It is great to find products that are customised to my stage of life and the changes that skin goes through.
Highly recommend for those wanting an effective wrinkle reducing cream.
