The cream has a nice texture and smell, and it feels nice and hydrating going on. Within an hour my skin looked dry and I had to reapply, my skin seemed drier after I applied it, I felt like I used a lot. It would only last a month maximum. I wouldn’t use it again, it also seemed to come off my skin like dandruff it was horrible if I rubbed my skin I had blobs of stuff coming off, it was horrible.

Tips: Don’t rub your skin after application
I really liked the packaging on this as it was easy to identify between the day and night cream. I found this soothing and nourishing, and was a good base for my make up. If applied with the filler serum then I didn't have to use very much of this product at all and still found it hydrating. My skin did not feel dehydrated during the working day under AC!
Tips: Use in conjunction with eye cream and night cream for over all benefits.
Like L'Oreal's other day creams, this one also delivers. I'm 43 and tend to have normal to dry skin. More dry in winter - so I love hydrating skin products.
This day cream is in L'Oreals signature glass jar like the other regimes. The lid I've always loved - easy open/close.
The moisturiser itself is slightly thicker than some day creams I've used recently but I really love that with it being thicker it feels richer and more nourishing on the skin. It glides on easily, so you use this product sparingly. It absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave a shiny or oily finish. Skin feels hydrated, smooth and lines look a little softened.
This day cream I found was very hydrating. I would normally use a facial oil before my moisturiser but with this day cream I haven't needed the oil (morning or night!) for the usual hydration boost.
For the past 4 weeks, using this product, I've felt my skins hydration has been well balanced, and skin has been soft and hydrated all day with the use of this cream. I've had no break-outs. At the end of the day my makeup wasn't sitting heavy or dry looking in any fine lines. My skin looked great at the end of the day.
Overall I think this cream is fantastic. It helps hydrate and plump. It's not a miracle worker, but it definitely softens lines and gives your skin a healthy glow that lasts all day. I love that the hydration isn't short-lived either. My skin has felt fantastic for 4 weeks. I'd love the 'plumping' to be a little more - but with more use I think the results will come. I'd also love to see the day cream come with an SPF - but I have a primer I use over top to provide the SPF protection I need for my skin.
I was in the market for a new day cream so this could not have arrived at a better time. The consistency felt thick and luxurious! It is easy to apply, the jar has a generous amount of cream in it so you don’t have to be stingy and it smells pretty good. Immediately after use my skin felt soft and healthy. Four weeks after using this product my skin feels fuller, healthier and softer. My wrinkles are also less noticeable. I think this product will become a staple in my face care regime!
I found this regime so easy to use which surprised me. Every morning I was excited to use the products. This day cream was no exception.
This is the one where I probably noticed the most difference in my skin. It can be hard to tell with a regime.. but wearing make over your blank canvas in the morning can be a good test.. so that’s what kind of let me know wow it’s doing something.
The thing I noticed the most was I would use the serum then day filler cream.. then go about putting on my face for the day.. and my face was smooth and something must have been filled in. I say this because I am using half the sunscreen and foundation/bb I was using prior. It applied so effortlessly and easily.. I was shocked. I usually squirt one pump of foundation or bb cream on and set to but I am having to use less on my skin so thats a money saver. With a whole pump I was trying to get it around my skin for quite a while so am using less win win.
This makes my skin feel soft, plump and I haven’t had any dry patches or allergic reactions since using. The day cream seems lighter than the night cream but still obviously fills in some gaps because I have a great canvas to start my day with. It’s like an amazing anti-aging cream and primer in one. Plumping and firming as it goes.
The skin feels soft for hours and it isn’t a drying formula which some can be. It’s also not sticky or heavy. Definitely a fave of this regime.
I think it is perfect for my age group I just can’t seem to get away with using certain products these days.. they are either too mild or not effective at all so if your curious try some at farmers.
L'Oreal describes the texture of this product as a "luxurious fast-absorbing balm that's non-greasy," and this is a fair description. A pea-sized amount glides into the skin and leaves your face feeling smooth and supple. I've layered it over a serum and they work well together. The day cream reinforces and locks in the moisture of the serum. I can see the jar lasting quite a while, although it would have been good if it came with a little spatula. The packaging is a nice purple jar but nothing really to write home about! Dimethicone, a type of silicone, features several times on the ingredients list and this is what's behind the silky smoothness of this product- almost like a primer. Keep this in mind if you have acne-prone skin as it has been linked to congestion. The fragrance is pleasant, if a little strong, and doesn't add a lot to the experience of using the face cream. It dies down quite quickly though which is a definite bonus for me! My skin is definitely on the dry end and most days, this has gone the distance. If you're really dry, you might need something heavier, or to layer an oil on top. Overall, a great day cream for winter. I would happily purchase this product, and recommend to a friend.
Tips: The similarities between this day cream and a primer make it great for using under make up! No pilling, and I noticed a much smoother finish than usual with makeup.
I received this product as part of a trial -thanks to Beauty Review. I have been using it for almost 4 weeks. The thick white cream comes in a square glass pot that fits comfortably in your hand. The cream has a slight perfume, but nothing overpowering. It absorbs reasonably quickly, is non greasy and easy to apply. Massage it in lightly with upward strokes. My sensitive (50+) skin showed no adverse reactions, which is a big bonus. No SPF so remember to add a separate sunscreen. My skin had become a bit dry over winter with air con & wind. It now feels softer, is glowing and looks fresh and rested. It appears to be plumper, so I’d say the claims of the product are holding true. I’m approximately halfway through– so it should last for 2 & a bit months at $40-45 a pot. Quite pricey, but it seems to do the trick, so I will probably continue to use and buy when I see it on special.
Tips: use an applicator rather than scooping with your fingers.
I really enjoyed using this product. Over winter my skin often feels tight due to dehydration but I noticed straight away when using this that my skin felt cushioned and plumped with moisture. Perfect for when in air conditioning or in a room with the fire cranked up. It had a lovely light scent and sat beautifully under my makeup. From the first time I used it I noticed how smooth my skin felt, fine lines were definitely less visible. After a week, I noticed a significant change in the texture of my skin leaving me comfortable enough to venture out without foundation. I would definitely recommend this product.
This day cream comes in a lovely grey pot and is designed to use with the whole filler range but could also be used alone. The cream is so silky and light feeling and has just a subtle scent. It could be used on it's own but works best with the whole range. I used the eye cream and the serum first then the moisturizer just glides on so easily and smoothly. It blends into the skin very quickly without leaving any greasy residue. My skin felt so soft after using for a few days and I do think it's a bit firmer. I'd definitely look at repurchasing as part of my daily routine
Tips: If used after the serum you dont need much at all and it would last for ages
My L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler regime arrived 10 days ago, and I’ve been using the day moisturiser for the past 8/9 days. This moisturiser comes in an attractive silvery-purple pottle. And the whole regime comes attractively packaged in pretty, metallic pinky-purple boxes.
I’ve been using this day cream exactly as directed, applying it a few minutes after allowing the serum to settle into my skin.
The first thing I noticed once opening this product was its pleasant fragrance. All too often, skincare products can either smell too strong or have no fragrance at all. Not so with this Loreal day cream, its scent is really lovely.
Its consistency, however, is slightly richer and thicker than what I’m used to. I prefer lighter, thinner moisturising creams in general as they seem to go further when applying and don’t feel quite as heavy once applied. However, massaging this cream into your skin is not a problem if you use the serum first. The serum assists in helping you to spread on the day cream more easily and evenly, so in my opinion it’s crucial to use the serum first (this is what L’Oréal recommends anyway). Besides, now that I’m in my 40s, perhaps it’s time for me to accept that a thicker, richer moisturiser might be necessary for my skin. And I guess the actual results are much more important at this stage of life than how a product feels to apply...
So, how ‘bout those results, I hear you ask. Let’s cut to the chase! Well, I can tell you my skin feels MUCH softer and smoother since using this moisturiser. It also looks healthier and possibly even slightly younger too, so it does seem to aid in filling wrinkles and revolumising facial skin. This cream - along with the whole regime - feels plumping and revitalising, so ‘Revitalift’ is an apt name for this range.
I absolutely do recommend this day cream, but only when it’s used along with the serum for ease of application. Four kisses.
Tips: Definitely use the Revitalift Filler serum first, as recommended, before applying this day cream. The day cream is reasonably rich/thick in texture, so applying the serum first helps the moisturiser to glide on more easily.
