As with all L'Oreal Skincare, the packaging is divine and gives the appearance of luxury, from the purple metallic boxes to the glass jars. The day cream is quite thick in consistency, has a light pleasant scent but also has a silky feel to it as does all of this range. L'Oreal claims that the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Day Cream has the highest concentration of Hyaluronic Acid which is proven to reduce wrinkles. I can say my wrinkles have not decreased in the short time I trialled this product. It is disappointing that this cream does not contain SPF. I wasn't enamoured with this product, I wanted to love it as I like the texture of the cream, but my skin, which is usually combination felt dry and I had continual breakouts during the trial of this range.

Tips: This particular cream is probably best suited to those whose skin is more on the oily side as it seemed to be quite drying.
The day time moisturiser comes nicely presented in a silvery light purple box that matches the rest of the range. The glass container itself is shaped much like the other L’Oreal day/night creams and is silver in colour. The appearance is nice but weighs quite heavily, so not really practical if your travelling a lot with this and the night cream combined.
I liked the scent, not at all over powering. The cream is white in colour and easy to apply smoothly. It leaves your skin feeling well moisturised. All things considered, I liked the product, although maybe a little on the pricey side for me. If you can follow the sales and it works well then as a rule I don’t object to paying for it, so I’d recommend giving it a try and see if it works for you.
I’d definitely recommend using it in conjunction with the rest of the range to get the true benefit.
My L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Filler regime arrived 10 days ago, and I’ve been using the day moisturiser for the past 8/9 days. This moisturiser comes in an attractive silvery-purple pottle. And the whole regime comes attractively packaged in pretty, metallic pinky-purple boxes.
I’ve been using this day cream exactly as directed, applying it a few minutes after allowing the serum to settle into my skin.
The first thing I noticed once opening this product was its pleasant fragrance. All too often, skincare products can either smell too strong or have no fragrance at all. Not so with this Loreal day cream, its scent is really lovely.
Its consistency, however, is slightly richer and thicker than what I’m used to. I prefer lighter, thinner moisturising creams in general as they seem to go further when applying and don’t feel quite as heavy once applied. However, massaging this cream into your skin is not a problem if you use the serum first. The serum assists in helping you to spread on the day cream more easily and evenly, so in my opinion it’s crucial to use the serum first (this is what L’Oréal recommends anyway). Besides, now that I’m in my 40s, perhaps it’s time for me to accept that a thicker, richer moisturiser might be necessary for my skin. And I guess the actual results are much more important at this stage of life than how a product feels to apply...
So, how ‘bout those results, I hear you ask. Let’s cut to the chase! Well, I can tell you my skin feels MUCH softer and smoother since using this moisturiser. It also looks healthier and possibly even slightly younger too, so it does seem to aid in filling wrinkles and revolumising facial skin. This cream - along with the whole regime - feels plumping and revitalising, so ‘Revitalift’ is an apt name for this range.
I absolutely do recommend this day cream, but only when it’s used along with the serum for ease of application. Four kisses.
Tips: Definitely use the Revitalift Filler serum first, as recommended, before applying this day cream. The day cream is reasonably rich/thick in texture, so applying the serum first helps the moisturiser to glide on more easily.
This day cream comes in a lovely grey pot and is designed to use with the whole filler range but could also be used alone. The cream is so silky and light feeling and has just a subtle scent. It could be used on it's own but works best with the whole range. I used the eye cream and the serum first then the moisturizer just glides on so easily and smoothly. It blends into the skin very quickly without leaving any greasy residue. My skin felt so soft after using for a few days and I do think it's a bit firmer. I'd definitely look at repurchasing as part of my daily routine
Tips: If used after the serum you dont need much at all and it would last for ages
Another luck trial team member here!
I've been using this for approx 3 weeks as part of the entire "filler regime" and have found it very satisfactory.
The day cream is packaged in the same jar as the night cream but the day cream is in a silver coloured jar with white cream inside. The day cream isn't as strongly scented as the night cream. As mentioned in my night cream review these jars aren't my fave but there's nothing actually wrong with them - I just prefer tubes that have a snap-on cap as I'm a little lazy.
Again, this is pretty economical for the price - after 3 weeks I still have half a jar left so estimate 6 weeks usage per jar and I'm fairly generous with my application.
This day cream goes on like a dream and is quickly absorbed. It's not a heavy cream which I appreciate for day time use but it leaves your skin feeling like you have used something much richer. No greasy after-feel here and it doesn't affect the durability of my foundation. So win-win on the formulation of this day cream.
I think as our skin ages we do need to use products that are better suited to more mature skin and this hits the mark. I feel as though my skin looks much brighter and plumper after using this entire regime and have enjoyed this day cream more than anything else I've used in the last couple of years.
I have really enjoyed using this product, it feels amazing on my skin is easily absorbed and doesnt feel greasy at all. I have seen a slight improvement when it comes to the fine lines around my eyes and any thing that helps with that gets a yes from me. This is a great product with a good price point and will be my new go to day moisturizer.
Thank you for asking me to trial this range BR!
This day cream comes in a square pottle. Has a mild scent and has a semi thick consistency which is how I like it.
To use you simply massage gently onto your face and neck. It absorbs easily and is non greasy.
This cream makes my skin look healthier and softer. I really like this cream and would highly recommend.
Tips: Use a small amount
I trialled the day cream as part of the entire range. Normally day creams are a bit hit and miss for me, with some of them being too heavy, some being too light - this one was just right like Goldilocks.
The cream comes in the standard L’Oréal squared glass tub, and like most products in their range, has the perfect amount of information and instructions. It has a light scent so may not be suited to sensitive skin, but I didn’t ever get any irritation from it.
The cream itself is a soft white cream, not overly heavy or overly scented, and doesn't feel greasy. You only need a smallish amount to cover the entire face, neck and décolletage. I have skin that tends towards dry, so this absorbed beautifully. I didn’t have to wait around for ages while it soaked in like I have had to with some other products and could apply my makeup within 5-10 minutes.
This is definitely a cream I will continue to use.
Tips: It doesn't contain SPF so don't forget to apply your sunscreen as well
I love L'oreal Paris products and usually manage to get their face creams on special at supermarkets or Chemist warehouse. This product comes in the usual square glass jar of 50mls which lasts a long time. Lovely strong fragrance which soon dissipates and a creamy rich texture. I do not apply to my eye area as I have sensitive eyes. Easy to blend into skin and leaves skin soft and hydrated. Contains Hyaluronic Acid which is great for skin hydration.
Tips: Use in conjunction with the night cream of the same brand. Also available in an SPF50 formula.
The cream has a nice texture and smell, and it feels nice and hydrating going on. Within an hour my skin looked dry and I had to reapply, my skin seemed drier after I applied it, I felt like I used a lot. It would only last a month maximum. I wouldn’t use it again, it also seemed to come off my skin like dandruff it was horrible if I rubbed my skin I had blobs of stuff coming off, it was horrible.
Tips: Don’t rub your skin after application
