At first, this formula is quite mind boggling- I guess I just wasn't really sure what to expect from a non-drip gel formula. It comes out of the tube as a yellowly/golden gel and then when in contact with water, it turns to a white cream (sort of)
The reasons that I was not so sure about this product was that I felt like I had to use a lot of it in order to effectively clean my face- this may not have been the case, there is every potential it was effectively removing make up/cleaning face, but to me it felt like it was surface cleaning rather than fully removing make up/dirt/grime
The formula doesn't have my most favourite of smells but that comes from it being organic and therefore no fragrance added etc. I think the main scent coming through was of the chamomile.
This product was sensitive on my skin although with every cleanser, I would say definitely follow with a moisteriser or serum
I picked a mini 30ml tube of this as a magazine freebie. I’d never heard of the brand before and couldn’t find out what the ingredients were either. But I love a magazine freebie and was about to go away for a month so thought it would come in handy.
This has a really unique formula. It is a very thick gel - almost a cross between a gel and a balm. It’s quite hard to squeeze out of the tube but this makes it great for travelling - no spillages here! You apply it to dry skin and then add water and it emulsifies into a milk. Sadly, I didn’t find it very effective as a cleanser or makeup remover. Even when I wasn’t wearing makeup, I still had to go in with a second cleanser as my skin still wasn’t clean and felt like it had a coating on it. I wouldn’t use this again as It just didn’t work for me. I ended up avoiding using this and purchased another cleanser to use.
