This face cream is something else. Even to apply it, it’s a ritual, you can’t just slap it on your face straight from the jar. Once on, though, it’s very moisturising, it’s so rich for me I only used it at night. Some might say it leaves a residue on the skin, some might say it leaves a barrier of protection, but either way it gives a luminous finish. I only had a small jar so it didn’t last that long, but I’m sure you’d get more value if you bought the large jar, it is quite expensive, but i would say worth the splurge! Lovely subtle floral fragrance.

Tips: Warm between your fingers till the product turns from thick white to a more workable translucent emollient. Use sparingly. If you don’t buy it all the time, use it for a couple weeks leading up to a big event, your skin will thank you!
I tried this during my stint in Wellington (I had moved from Auckland), as I developed dry, flaky skin. The cream is white, a pasty, lumpy-but-not-actually-lumpy sort of texture, it's hard to describe. It has a pleasant, faint smell which I found quite pleasing. To use this, you are meant to warm the cream between your fingertips before you press it on your face. This is a problem for me, I am one of those people who have chronic cold hands and feet, so I just ended up applying it straight on my face from the jar. Maybe it is this reason that I didn't notice any major improvements in my skin? On the few occasions that I did it properly and bothered to warm my hands up by soaking them in warm water, the cream turned slightly translucent and it was actually much easier to apply. I think I may give this another go and make an effort to do it the correct way every night if the same problem happens again and nothing else works. But at the moment, I'm happy with the state of my skin and what I'm using.
