This is probably the longest lasting body moisturisers I have ever used. I can apply it in the morning and 12 hours later my skin has not gone crepey and dry. I’m truly impressed.
I use it all over my body, and for a time was even using it on my face. It turned out to be too occlusive for my face (duh!) so I can’t recommend that, but otherwise this will be a staple in my bathroom from now on.
Tips: I don’t have eczema or dermatitis, but I suspect this would be great for those skin types. No fragrance makes it very low irritation.
If you are looking for a no-fuss reliable moisturiser that works, then this is it. There's no fragrance which is brilliant as I wear parfum. There is no oily feeling, so your face isn't shiny, and it works on any skin type as my whole family uses it, I have darker skin and my wife is very fair. This moisturiser is perfect for summer, as its light but effective.
Tips: Apply straight after the shower and moisturise your neck; any perfume or cologne you apply will last longer. Also great on the body as well.
I was lucky enough to get a whole lot of sample size products from the La Roche Posay range and this was in amongst them. I have a good body moisturizer form the doctor for my skin as I have psoriasis and my skin needs a lot of care. I have to say I was unsure as to how this would work for my skin but I have to say I have now swapped to this range. I found I had better results from this compared to the one the doctor gave me. This is so light but very moisturizing without being greasy or sticky. I have found, especially on my hands the texture of my skin is softer and looks younger!
I was first put onto this in Europe as an all-over moisturiser. That's right, you can even use this on your face. The official LRP website confirms this.
It has niacinamide to help with dark spots and never feels too heavy on my skin - and I even have oily skin. During summer I opt for gel moisturisers in the daytime, but I still use this at night all year long. It's not scented and a chickpea-sized amount goes a long way on my face and neck. At night, I like to add a couple drops of a treatment oil for an extra-nourishing treatment. I love this moisturiser because if you use it for your face, its such a big bang for your buck. I also know that if I've over exfoliated a little bit, I can rely on it to moisturise my skin without causing any extra irritation.
