Lancome Visionnaire Serum Review

This product has changed my life. Prior to using the Lancome Visonnaire serum I had recently got on top of my acne, and had no more active blemishes. I did however have significant scarring. My pale face was covered in strong, red acne scars alongside enlarged pores and a small amount of pigmentation. I dreaded looking in the mirror, wouldn't let anyone other than my partner see me without a full coverage foundation on, and wouldn't even walk to the letterbox without makeup on. I was so lucky to have my acne under control, but I was still very, very self conscious of my skin. Impressed by the technology behind it, I decided to purchase the Lancome Visonnaire serum. I used this product every day for 6 months with no other products designed to treat acne scarring.

It is a luxury product and this is immediately reflected in the packaging. It is simple, sleek and sturdy with a pump for dispensing product. The pump only dispenses a small amount of product, which is perfect. The formula itself is the colour of a pearl, with a thin, easy to spread consistency. Only a tiny amount is needed, and therefore I am only just over half way through the product after 6 months of twice a day use. It has almost no scent.

The Lancome Visonnaire serum is designed to treat wrinkles, pores and uneven skin tone (dark spots, scarring etc). This isn't an overnight miracle cosmetic product, in fact I saw no results for the first few weeks. It is a skincare treatment, and after 3 months I noticed a significant difference in the appearance of my pores, and the beginning of my acne scars fading. After 6 months the difference in my skin is incredible. Unfortunately I cannot post before and after photos on this review, but the scarring has completely gone other than a few fresh scars from recent blemishes. Yes, my scarring was bound to fade over time but this was very fast, particularly on such pale skin. I 100% recommend the Lancome Visionnaire for the treatment of acne scarring.

Today, I am much more confident in my skin. When I show people the photo of what my skin looked like 6 months ago, they are amazed. I will continue to use the Lancome Visonnaire serum to treat my pores, dark spots and any occasional new scars. It is expensive but this product has given me a huge, continued confidence boost.

It's not often you come across a product that really is a game changer, a product you couldn't do without. Lancome Visionnaire Serum is that life-changing product for me. I began getting acne young at 10, and not knowing much about skincare unfortunately did not look after my skin well for many years. I tried many acne-targeted cleansers but nothing seemed to do the job, and it wasn't until a couple of years ago my breakouts started to die down although I still get them. Unfortunately 15 years of acne left my skin scarred and red with large pores, and sun damage showing it's face. Safe to say I never went anywhere without makeup, including around my boyfriend at home.

I purchased this after hearing Chelsea rave about it, it wasn't a product I'd ever consider otherwise for acne scarring. In the past I'd used a few scar products with little result. This is a high-end product with a high-end price-tag and so with my budget I did some sleuthing and ended up being able to pick a 50ml bottle up part of a Christmas giftset on a Farmers 15% off sale. The high price tag is echoed in how luxurious the packaging of the bottle is, a sleek teal, aqua and silver pump bottle. The pump dispenses a small amount of product which is fantastic as you only end up using as much as you need. The formula itself is a lightweight serum with a silky, thin consistency that's easy to apply and a faint, lovely scent that dissipates quickly. My skin drinks this in.

I've been using this now for 5 months, once or twice a day. It's like a Pantene commercial, it didn't happen overnight but it did happen. At first I didn't notice any results, but it was still a lovely serum and it didn't make my skin oilier or break out. After a few months I THOUGHT I was noticing a difference, but wasn't sure whether it was my wishful thinking, still I persevered! Now I can truly see visible differences in my skin. My acne scars have faded slightly, both in pigmentation and texture. I still have scarring but it's significantly less noticeable, as is my pigmentation from sun damage. I don't really have noticeable wrinkles so I can't comment on this but I can definitely recommend this as a product for acne scarring.

My skin looks so much better than it has before thanks to this serum and the result of this is so much more self-confidence - I can now go to the supermarket, movies and shops makeup-free and I've had compliments on how much clearer my skin is looking. This is a visionary product well worth investing in for your skin.

I received a sample of this with an eye cream I brought at the Lancome counter and for some unbeknown reason it sat on my dresser for a good week before I tried it. The first time I tried it I swear I noticed a difference straight away. So after a week of trying it I fell in love with it so much I spent the $182 for the 50ml bottle and to me it's money well spent.

First of all I have a few lines on my forehead and around my mouth and I'm a bit self conscious of them so if nothing else I want to stop them from getting worse if I can't make them better. Like I said above the first time I used it my forehead lines seemed softened and when I purchased the bottle the lovely lady at the lancome counter said I would notice a difference straight away. How or why? I'm not sure but it did.

The pump bottle is very pretty in a vibrant teal colour that stands out. The serum is like a white when you first pump it out then it looks a kind of pink, rose gold colour it's quite shimmery to look at but doesn't show up on the skin. I use 3-4 pumps at a time and it sinks in without a trace. The consistency is very light weight and feels gorgeous on my skin.

I have been using it daily for around 2 months now and I'm not sure that the lines have softened much but it has definitely make my skin softer and evened it out a lot. I have had so many comments about how good my skin looks and how healthy it looks since I have been using it. I love this and will be repurchasing it once the bottle is empty, nothing for my skin has made such a big difference as what this has done it really is a miracle in a jar.

I was given a this as a present and at 1 oz for $128 I would struggle to buy for myself . I have dry mature skin and was sceptical in the beginning. It comes in a nice little pump bottle with a nice white lotion and has a really pleasant floral scent. I found after a couple of uses I could feel the difference in my skin as it felt tighter and some of the dry skin actually peeled which left my skin looking fresher and clearer.The longer I have used it I have found my pores in my skin have reduced and my skin definitely has a glow it didn't have before . The lotion just absorbs straight into the skin . I have almost finished the bottle and now an seriously looking to replace as a little goes a long way and it certainly has made my skin have a much more youthful glow. I have used night and morning however I think I may have been too extravagant and would try perhaps once a day to justify the cost and make the product last.

I am a Lancome fan & have used quite a few of their products. I was very lucky to register for a trial team (through Stuff) of the Visionnaire serum's second version and get picked! I was sent a full size product and had to write down my observations for four weeks. I have dry skin with no real scarring as I had more eczema than acne, but it was such a pleasure to use anyway. The product has a silky texture and glides over skin. White when just pumped but turns into a shimmery pink/cream colour :) It didn't make a huge difference to me but reading from the reviews below, for acne scarred skin it must be an awesome product. Would definitely recommend.
