I was so excited to try this oil and clapped my hands with glee when it arrived. My skin is on the dry side or for better words 'mature', so I do like quite heavy nourishing moisturisers.
I started using the Linden Leaves Miraculous Facial Oil as soon as it arrived and can honestly say it has definitely improved the look and feel of my skin. It seems smoother and more of an even skin tone.
I love its packaging and the oil dropper makes it easy to use. It also smells lovely.
I use about 2-3 drops at night mixed with the LL night cream and every second night I use just the oil. My skin definitely feels silkier and a lot more moisturised as it sort of acts like a mini facial. I also found it good putting a very small amount under my eyes in the mornings and gently patting it in before applying concealer, as it stopped the concealer looking dry and wrinkly. My dark circles seem slightly better too and whether its from the oil or from using the oil, night cream and day cream all together I'm not sure.
All I know is this product will now be firmly on my dresser and used every day, I really do love it !!
I have been using facial oils for several years so was really excited to try the Miraculous Facial Oil. Reading the list of ingredients I was surprised at there being benzyl alcohol but gave it a go anyway. I found the oil sat on my skin rather than absorbing into it as I expected. So I mixed a couple of drops into the Essential Moisturiser and found it absorbed better then. The fragrance is lovely & the dropper applicator is very convenient. I've never broken out from using a facial oil but I did with this one. To make sure I wasn't imagining things I used the Miraculous Oil on one side of my face and another 100% facial oil on the other. Although it's not a very scientific experiment due to the oils being different the result was the 100% oil side being smoother and softer than the blended oil. For the price, in my opinion there are better facial oils on the market and I'd only use this one again if I had nothing else.
Tips: Blending this oil with the Essential Moisturiser aided absorbtion. And less is definitely more, even for dry, mature skin.
