I've been using this on and off the last few months. I do like it and it does pump up the moisture well but I'm not a fan of the scent and have found it hard to fit it into my daily routine. It's quite a thick oil so definitely not under makeup. I love to use it on my lazy home days to give my skin a boost. So overall its pretty good but I'm not blown away.

In my opinion this oil is lighter than other natural oils I use on my face. I personally did not like the smell of the oil as it wasn't sweet or pleasant smelling and that bothered me since I would have to smell it all the time when I wore it on my face. I love the fact that it has great ingredients in it and it is a product of NZ. The oil works well and over time you do notice pimple scars starting to fade slightly. The only other downside - after about a few months I had just a little bit left at the bottom of the bottle which dried up a little and turned yellow and sticky so I couldn't finish it all.
Tips: 2-3 drops goes a long way, best used on freshly washed skin.
I was given the Linden Leaves Gift With Purchase that included this product.
It comes in a small glass dropper bottle. It is cute, but I had major difficulty getting the lid off the first time I used it! The glass is clear so you can see the bright amber oil inside.
There are many oils of this type available now and I think this is one of the better ones, even though there isn’t much between them. This one is slightly thicker and less greasy. It has no discernible scent.
It says it is enhanced with natural ingredients such as rosehip to soften and treat the skin whilst reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. High in antioxidants, this hydrating facial oil provides an instant boost to skin and delivers a radiant glow. It does give my skin a boost and a soft glow, and feels lovely on my skin. I’ve been using it after the facial moisturiser and brightening serum and my skin looks complete – clear and glossy - at the end.
If you’re a fan of facial oils then certainly I recommend trying this. If you can get the pack of minis to try them all, that’s a great way to go. You don’t need to use much of each product so they’re not too bad economically. This oil is $64.00 but it really only needs a few drops per day so it will last for ages.
Tips: Use in conjunction with the other Linden Leaves products.
I recently bought this as part of my Beauty Review Haul and I’m so glad I did. I have tried this oil in a sample size before but feel my skin has changed since then. I’m almost 40 and recently my skin has gone from oily/combo to normal/combo and my skin is literally drinking up any oil I apply to it. I normally use a rosehip oil which I really enjoy but just feel it needed more. This has left my skin plump, moisturised and smooth and I’m loving it. I try to use NZ brands where I can and am so pleased I retried this one. I will definitely repurchase this oil and have already recommended it to friends.
Tips: I use this over serum and moisturiser but can be added to day cream for a glow. Can also be used instead of moisturiser for oilier skin.
Really nice product, I now use a treatment under my moisturiser on a daily basis and would use this again.
I loved the packaging. Linden leaves has such clean sophisticated packaging it makes you want to buy everything off the store shelf.
The oil smells somewhat like a cross between an herb and floral smell, not a big fan of it but it did not bother me either. The oil was not heavy and absorbs quite easily into the skin. Now, here the tricky part, it wasnt hydrating enough to use on its own, but then that could be because my skin has been quite dry lately. When used on its own, my skin still felt tight and itchy. Im quite glad that there was a set with this becuase it worked quite well under a moisturiser and left my skin well hydrated.
I actually got given a teaser (3ml) of this in a subscription box. I really liked the smell and the feel of it on my skin was really nice. It did stay quite sticky and greasy on my skin. I would still use it though. It still has its benefits
Tips: Less is more
I received a little 3ml sample bottle of Linden Leaves Miraculous Facial Oil as my Day 5 gift in a 2016 beauty advent calendar.
I was a little hesitant to use this facial oil, as I'd only used Rosehip Oil before and all Rosehip Oil seems to smell rather fishy to me and I really don't like the smell. But, the smell of this facial oil was pleasantly surprising. It smelled quite nice.
The box said to use 1-2 drops, but I found that I had to use 3-4 drops from the tiny dropper, to be able to spread the golden coloured oil sparingly across my face and down my neck. 1-2 drops only did half my face (forehead, nose and tops of cheeks). My hands were completely dry by the time I reached my cheeks and chin and no amount of massaging moved the tiny bit of oil any lower down my face.
As I have oily skin, I chose to use this nightly, instead of night cream and found that it left my skin feeling soft and smooth, with absolutely no oily residue. By the time I had put the drops in my palm and rubbed my hands together, the oil had practically disappeared. There was the smallest amount to be spread over my face.
I'm not sure how miraculous this oil is, as I haven't seen a huge change in my skin, other than a few more breakouts than I usually have. I'm not using any new products, other than this oil, so I'm not sure what's causing the breakouts. Maybe my skin just doesn't like this product.
I highly doubt that I would buy a full sized bottle, as it is expensive and I haven't been overly wowed by it.
Tips: See if you can get a sample or buy a smaller travel size before committing to a full sized bottle, just in case you don't like it.
This face oil is very good and didn't cause me to break out. However it is similar to other oils such as coconut oil etc.. I like this oil because it has no scent therefore it doesn't have an over powering smell.
Tips: It says to use a few drops but you definitely need more than that to cover your whole face.
My age is catching up on me. No matter how much I try to act like I feel (which is younger) -I keep catching a view of myself which is less than flattering. There is no exception to my face! I have quite dry skin so oils generally work well for me and I have a lovely big scar on the side of my face which I'm keen to lather with anything that promises healing! Linden Leaves Miraculous Oil is truly Miraculous! Not only do I love the name (reminds me of Charley and The Chololate Factory for some reason?) but I also love the packaging and the fragrance is seriously like a bouquet of flowers! In the past I have used Trilogy Rosehip Oil (which is also miraculous!) but I would rate this oil slightly higher, simply for it's fragrance and it's packaging. The results are excellent. My skin feels nourished and fresh and looks soft and supple - as opposed to old and wrinkly! It does help to heal imperfections like scars - I notice a difference for sure. I wouldn't say it's an instant fix to to the years of damage and ageing my face has endured but I think that with prolonged use, my skin will see the benefits. Thumbs up for me!
Tips: Don't lather it on- you only need a couple of drops to go a long way....otherwise you'll be oily and will clog your skin. :)
