Just like they say, this is seriously chocolate! I'm not sure how effective it is when you lick it off but the plus side is you don't forget to apply it! It also gives a nice chocolate tint, great for people who don't like red or bright pink lips.

Lush Chocolate Whipstick Lip Balm
For soft, chocolate-orange flavoured lips. Whipstick is made for everyone who can’t have cocoa butter or lanolin in their balms. We make it with a lip-soothing infusion of oats, beautiful almond and wheat germ oils, plus beeswax for waterproofing. If that sounds a bit worthy, worry not; we livened it up with real chocolate, vanilla absolute and orange oil. Delicious and good for you, which is a rare and lovely thing.

I LOVE this lip balm. It keeps my lips moist like all good lip balms are suppose to, so it is perfect for dry lips as well. It smells absolutely divine! It would probably last longer on the lips if I didn't lick it off every 5 seconds because it smells so good. Added bonus is that it is compact so it easily fits in any hang-bag, clutch or even wallet. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family
For some reason, it took me over a year to buy this.. I think the fact it was brown made me think I was going to have brown lips. I dunno what I was thinking, because I absolutely love this.
The taste is the absolute yummiest chocolate-orange flavour. And I mean, it actually tastes and smells like orange chocolate. I have been caught once or twice just sitting there smelling it. It most definitely doesn't turn your lips brown, it goes on clear like a lip balm.
The pot is small and easy to chuck in your pocket, your bag or on your bedside table- but as I've found with every lush lip balm/tint, I have to put it between both palms and turn, instead of the usual twist-with-my-fingers move. But once the lid is on, it's on, it won't unscrew unless you do it yourself.
I find that is lasts a really long time- if you don't lick your lips cos it tastes so yummy (Yeah, I'm guilty). And that it is really moisturising, especially if you keep applying, before it completely wears off. My fiancé always comments on how soft my lips are after I've been using this.. Which I've been using almost non-stop since I got it a week ago. I don't think I'll ever go back to another lip balm again, other than the Lush Honey Trap, which is just another yummy flavour of this.
Super cute, little purse sized lip balm from Lush. Very nice packaging, and it's very light too!
Firstly, I do like this product. It's easy to apply, smells nice, feels light on my lips (whereas some chapsticks feel so heavy and gross!) and hydrates well.
However, I don't get the scent! It says on the packaging 'chocolate orange' but I don't get any of that! It smells almost musky to me, with a hint of cinnamon? But no chocolate!
I do love this lip balm, but if you're after something that smells intensely of chocolate, something else might be better for you.
Tips: I use it immediately after Lush's Bubblegum Lip Scrub for best results!
This product smells edible, I swear it smells exactly like chocolate. Taste wise it doesn't, so I don't recommend licking your lips with this on or it will taste a bit waxy. The packaging is very clean and minimal and I like that it stays tightly sealed in my handbag. It's a light weight lip balm so I wouldn't really recommend for winter as you constantly have to re apply it, but overall a great product!
loving the choclate-orange flavoured bam definitely tempting to the senses, such a handy product to have around, great to take in your pocket, or have stored in the bathroom, so verisitile to have. The balm is clear and applies smoothly on your lips, leaves them smelling yummy, and looks great to wear. a definite hydration boost balm for your lips, I love the product
I really like the scent and colour tone of this lip balm. It is quite shiny in my opinion for a balm, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. However it is unfortunately the wrong colour for my skin :( mostly it makes me look washed out, so I don't really wear it. It does do a good job of protecting and moisturizing lips though, so would recommend!
Usually I don't prefer this type of packaging because you have to dip your finger in it for hygienic purpose. Sometimes you have dirty hands and you want to apply lip balm.... just gross. So product comes in aluminium small tin which has "lush" logo on the lid and flavour name on it.
I bought it because it's say chocolate whipstick balm so who doesn't like chocolate... hammm. But when I use this balm on my lips, I didn't like smell. Personally I didn't feel any chocolate smell or anything. It's smell only cocoa. So as per name should be cocoa lip balm....right.
I just only one thing like it and that's why this product got many star because once I have to apply 3 or 4 hours after which is very long for me. I used many lipbalm in my life. But this the one I don't have to apply frequently. My lips feel so good, smooth and plump.
I really like lush balm but I will purchase different flavours or just plain I guess. But definitely recommend for dry lips.
first of all, the smell is amazing like actual chocolate! The packaging is simple, cute and it makes it easy to just pop into your handbag. Sometimes I would have trouble opening it but maybe that's just me?
As a lip balm I didn't actually find it to help all that much with my dry lips. I found that I needed to keep reapplying it because it didn't last on the lips for every long. I actually think it may be more drying than moisturizing.
I was sooo excited to try this (I got it for my birthday) because I adore Lush but this was a dissapointed, so I wouldn't go out and buy this. The smell truly was lovely though.
