I love love lush things and this is just wonderful. It cost about $20 for a small tub, but it does last a very long time because you only need like a pea sized amount and then you mix it with water into a paste to cleanse your face. This left my face feeling super soft and it DOES NOT strip your face of any oils, and it restores oils in places that are dry. I definetly recommend this and it is honestly amazing. Lush is also good at giving away free things, if you bring back 5 of these empty tubs you get a free face mask!!!

I loved this product, its really good if your skins feeling stressed out, it left my skin feeling super soft and happy :-)
Tips: If you want a little more exfoliation just mix in a little exfoliater (i used la clinica gly c scrub) for an even fresher more refined feeling.
This is my favourite solid cleanser EVER!!! It is a lush product that's true to its word. I just love natural products, and the lavender, rose and ground almonds in this have been proven natural skin cleansers for centuries for a reason. The almonds are wonderful exfoliators, I love the fact that common nuts do such a great job of getting down into those pores without all the nasty chemicals! The smell is divine, so organic! It turns into a pastey milky consistency, easy to rub onto your face without wastage, and it leaves my skin SO soft, silky and moisturized AND clean afterwards. I have been using this for a couple months now and I've had no break outs from it, as I have done with other cleansers. And for a mere $19 it's actually very cost effective, as you only need a piece the size of a pea which means the wee pottle will last months on end! The little pottle is perfect for the shower, although you do have to be careful that you don't accidently spray any water into it while the lids off.
Tips: Order online on lushnz.com and they normally always send you a "gift" / freebie ;)
I've been using this for a few weeks but I'm still on the fence with this one. I received a generous sample of it when I made another Lush purchase and the small pot of it has lasted well, even using it twice a day.
My combination skin tends more towards dry patches. It's a very gentle product that doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after using it, but on the other hand it's so mild that I'm not always convinced that my face is completely clean after using it. I normally take my eye makeup off with a removal product before cleansing but I find that this doesn't always take away all the traces of black that I occasionally miss like other cleansers would.
It has an unusual, almost solid and crumbly texture before you mix it with water and I found that it was quite messy to use and it's easy to get lumps of it in your mouth in the shower. That may just be poor technique on my part but sometimes it just feels like a chore to use when I'm tired. Let's face it, I'm always tired when I'm washing my face as it's first thing in the morning or bedtime, so I like my routine to be as easy as possible. I'm not the biggest fan of lavender scents but others may love the strong smell of this one.
My skin has been well behaved while I have been using this but I'm not sure whether I would go out and purchase this one once I run out of the sample. It has been good, but not amazing for me. I prefer their Aquamarina cleanser.
Angels is a lovely soft exfoliating cleanser. The Kaolin is really absorbent and helps to unclog pores, while ground almonds gently buff away dead skin. The lavender is quite delicious and helps with balancing sebum. Overall it's a nice cleanser, especially for people with 'normal' skin. (I personally needs something a little more heavy duty, so I prefer Herbalism and Aqua Marina for my acne prone complexion.) This is great for people who want a simple yet effective cleanser that is made of the very best fresh ingredients
I love this cleanser with a difference! The unique texture of a cleanser and scrub that you mix with water yourself to achieve the best texture to suit your skin. I love that this is power packed with soothing healing ingredients, ideal for anyone with irritated combination skin. I found the shelf life (although short) matched the rate I got through the pot of cleanser and I loved the gentle scrub effect I got from using a clay based cleanser.
The sales assistant at Lush told me this cleanser was their top seller. And I can definitely see why. I have combination type skin and have always had small breakouts around my nose and cheeks. Since using this cleanser both morning and night my skin has improved dramatically, I honestly don't remember the last time it was this smooth and pimple-free. This cleanser has evened out my skin tone and made it a lot more softer and supple.
I thought it would be a hassle to have to wet the product and work into a paste but since getting the hang of it I can easily wash and dry my face within a minute.
This cleansing scrub is a delight to use. At first I found the scent odd, but I quickly grew to appreciate the fact the scent was entirely natural, as a consequence of the ingredients. The star ingredient in this cleanser is almond, which provides texture to scrub your skin, but also moisturises, leaving your face feeling soft and smooth. <3
Tips: While this product is intended for your face, it is also suitable for the rest of your body, particularly if, like me, you find many body scrubs too harsh for your skin.
This was a mask I had heard amazing things about, plus I had seen the reviews on BR which we all know are worth their weight in gold. So, off I went to lush to get this lovely mask.
Like the majority of lush’s masks, this one come in a small black container, which I like because it is part of their recycling campaign, and means I am one step closer to getting that free face mask! Yippee.
The mask, well I’ll be honest. It’s not the prettiest mask iv ever seen. In fact, it’s nowhere close to being the prettiest masks I’ve ever seen. It’s a grey-ish colour in colour, and has a crumbly, but mouldable consistency (a consistency similar to other masks in the lush range). The mask is speckled with fresh lavender pieces, and at times I find the lavender smell to be quite intense, which is understandable considering the mask, is all over your face and right under your nose (literally).
This cleanser works by placing a small amount of the cleanser in the palm of our hand and mixing it with water to make a paste. When the water is added, the cleanser turns into a milky paste. But even with a bit of mixing and rubbing, I found it was really hard to get an even consistency with this paste. Nonetheless I still use it, and just try to spread it as evenly as possible over my face which is easy enough to do. Leave it for 30 seconds or so, and then rub the mask all over my face.
Firstly, the small lavender chunks feel so lovely when they are being moved all over you face because they are just so gentle, and that paired with the gentle exfoliation from the almond makes this mask feel so good to use. Plus, when I wash the cleanser off, my skin looks so fresh and clean. Although I do find this mask ever so slightly dry my cheeks out, but since I use this at night, I follow this mask with my night time cream.
I do like using this mask, even though at times I can find the lavender scent a little strong (I’m not a big fan of lavender). Overall, I would consider re-purchasing this mask, mainly because it does actually even out my skin tone, but it would not be my first choice from the amazing range of masks available at lush.
I tried this at a stage where I was having some pretty bad break outs. While it helped clear up my ance a bit, I found it dried my skin out quite a bit. It was great for body scrub however.
