I've been a Lushie for years but have only recently rediscovered bath bombs. I'm usually more of a bubble bar girl. What turned my head was realising just how soft bombs leave your skin. No need for body lotion afterwards has me sold!
I hadn't tried this bomb before as it doesn't stand out from the pretties in store and the name just doesn't do it justice. It's packed with avocado but that's not its main scent. I always find it quite hard to pick out the scent of individual items instore too. The lovely Lush assistant recommended this one to me as I was feeling under the weather. I'd also just ordered the matching shower gel from the Lush Kitchen in the UK on the basis that it was lemongrass based and might wake me up in the mornings.
This bomb doesn't put on much of a show and just gently fizzes away. It does leave your skin lovely and soft though. These benefits continued until my next bath the following day. My skin actually felt like I had used a body oil or butter on it. I used half each time and this was enough (I paired the second half with my avoshower when it arrived). It turns the bath a milky green. Apparently there's glitter in there but I don't see any evidence of it.
Whilst this bomb didn't give me the get up and go I was hoping for (let's face it, I'm looking for a miracle, not a bomb!) it makes a refreshing morning bath.
This week's bath bomb choice, sold me as soon as I saw "mood boosting"!
The avocado and lemongrass are a nice mix together and it has a zesty scent to it. Leaves your skin feeling smooth and smelling fresh afterwards and gives the bath a beautiful green tint in colour.
One of the more affordable LUSH bathbombs I've used recently so was a win win!
Tips: Break the bathbomb in half if you are wanting more than one use out of it.
