Lush Big Buffy Body Butter Review

I bought this bar as I wanted an exfoliator to use In the shower. This product is quite a soft and gives your skin a gentle exfoliation, but is strong enough to buff away dead skin. It doesn't feel harsh or rough on your skin. This bar has small particles of rice and ground almonds which provides the exfoliating element. The grains feel quite soft on your skin. I use this in the shower, and once I have rinsed and soaped, I apply this all over my body, particularly on my knees and back where I get dry patches.

This bar is very moisturising too. I can feel that my skin is much softer after using this product and my skin feels silky and supple after my shower. This product would be suitable for all skin types, particularly if you have dry skin.

Make sure to keep this bar dry, otherwise it disintegrates and breaks down if kept in contact with water. I like to apply this product when I've stepped out of the direct stream of water. Even though I've kept my bar in a soap box, it has become quite soft and soggy, so it doesn't really last too long even though I have more than half of my bar left.

Like all lush products, the smell of this bar is very natural and has a strong cocoa and shea butter scent. I quite like this smell as it has a slightly sweet smell, but not too overpowering.

Overall, I have enjoyed using this product and I would purchase this again.

This product is gorgeous. I use it in the bath, and it leaves me with the most supple and smooth skin. I love how it makes my skin feel, although it does stay quite 'wet' feeling for a while which can be a bit annoying. BUT I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who gets unwanted shaving rash, and bumps because this product helps a lot! :)

This product is one of my all time favourite lush products! I've been using this for a few years now and will continue to use it.

This particular body butter does get used up more quickly than the others but it's so good that I don't really care that much, providing I have the funds to replace. I use this over my entire body before I get out of the shower and left it soak in for a while to get full benefits. Afterwards my skin is so unbelievably soft it's insane! My entire body is like a baby's bottom hehe. It exfoliates, adds moisture and also helps get rid of these weird red rash patches on my arms. NOTHING has ever been able to heal these patches expect buffy, which is amazing because they were so embarrassing! To use I quickly run it under running water and rub all over my body paying particular attention to any real dry areas.

Buffy has a really subtle scent so if you don't like strong smells you will like this. It's also good because it doesn't interfere with your perfume. I love using this before I go on a date so they can be like, "wow you have such beautiful soft skin!" :D.

Would I recommend? Hell yes! This product is amazing and so worth it. It even makes my feet nice and soft which is usually a mission. It comes in two sizes so if you don't want to commit to the big size you don't have too. I also think it may come in an even smaller size in gift packs.

I just bought this last week and there hasn't been a day that I haven't used it! This product smells so amazing and works really well. It exfoliates and leaves a layer of oil that soaks into your skin to leave you feeling moisturized and relaxed. If you're a person that gets backne as well, it will do a good job on clearing it up. I have already noticed a difference in the way my boyfriends skin looks already. Completely recommend to anyone!

This lush body butter is similar to a soap but not quite. You use it in the shower after you have washed yourself for extra silkyness. The body butter itself has exfoliating beads In it to smooth out rough skin. The scent is quite organic. After using this on my body my skin feels amazing. This is my favourite body butter in the lush range.

I completely adore this product by Lush, it's absolutely gorgeous and if it were slightly cheaper I would be repurchasing every single month!

The Big Buffy Body Butter comes in a soap-style bar, and smells deliciously fragrant without being too overpowering. You use it like a soap in the shower, and the natural exfoliants (no micro beads here!) give your skin a lovely scrub while leaving a layer of moisturising oils behind. Most of these oils do wash off during the shower, but afterwards you're left with soft, nourished, subtly scented skin with no need for a post-shower moisturiser.

I adore everything about this product, from the scent to the concept to the ingredients, as well as it coming from a fab company that is leading the way in terms of ethical beauty. 5/5 from me!

While I prefer the scent of You Snap the Whips, Buffy is otherwise better. The scent is very like that of the Brazened Honey facemask; quite a natural, honey-and-oats type scent.

I get the smaller size bar, which fits nicely into my palm. I can then scrub it over my skin easily.

This doesn't melt away anywhere near as badly as YSTW, which makes it much more pocket friendly. it's a bit 'scratchier' in that the scrubby particles are bigger, but i don't mind that. The bar is crammed full of soothing, hydrating oils, which leave skin really nice.

I got this to combat scaly dry winter legs, and it's perfect. I use this a couple times a week int he shower and my legs are smoother, more hydrated, and not tormenting me with late winter dry scratchy skin!

So, in short, if this smelled like You Snap the Whip it would be perfect, but it's near enough. Will definitely repurchase

I brought this buffy soap from the lush range as I wanted a gentle all over soap. This soap was amazingly gentle on my skin, I have dry/sensitive skin that breaks out with excema from time to time, this gentle soap felt great on my skin, it was also a great exfoliating scrub.

after washing my skin felt rejuvenated and soft. I brought one especially for my partner as hes at work all day and when he comes home he wants a nice soak in the bath, he said after using the soap it makes his skin feel fresh and clean also soothing under his feet as hes standing most of the day.

I purchased this product on a whim, not really expecting much, but now it is one of my favourite Lush products and a must have. The coarseness of the ground rice and almonds is just the right consistency and you definitely feel well scrubbed and exfoliated after using it. What makes this product exceptional though is how hydrated it leaves your skin feeling. All those oils and butters work their magic and you feel softer and smoother than ever. I recommend this to a lot of people and if I'm putting together a Lush care package, I always include this. It certainly slays!

i loves me a scrub and i loves me a lush scrub. especially the solid ones. theyre a scrub and a moisturizer BUT IN A SOLID BAR! like you cannot go wrong here!

absolutely love the roughness of the scrub, its rough enough to make me feel clean but so gentle and doesnt leave me red and raw like some can.

rinses well and the oils left behind leave me moisturized for the day and keep me feeling soft and silky. i love using this after ive shaved my legs, its like the ultimate silky dolphin smooth experience. and y'all know how much i love being dophin smooth lmao
