Avoid disasters with the power of blueberries!

Fresh blueberries are rich in beneficial antioxidants, vitamins and minerals to reduce inflammation and act as a mild antiseptic.

Soothing chamomile, Irish moss and almond oil work with the gentle cleansing action of calamine to save your skin.

Apply to clean skin, avoiding the eye area.

Leave for five to ten minutes, then rinse away with warm water. Keep chilled.

Pretty Good - But Not The Best

This is a great face mask but I would probably buy either Oatfix or Love Lettuce instead next time as those two seem to work better for me (I have dry-normal skin).

Catastrophe Cosmetic smells great and feels like breakfast for your skin. As far as face masks go, it's one of the better ones. As far as Lush face masks go, it's not their best one for my skin.

I love Lush and I love their face masks but this one isn't my favourite.

Tips: Good for preparing for an event!

Thanks for this review! It is really helpful knowing the skin types of the reviewers as it helps me to make a better decision on whether I should buy the product. My skin is the same type so I think I wont go for this mask :) x

If you haven't tried it...TRY IT!

Went and bought this after reading the reviews on BR. Only 3 words to describe it A-MAZ-ING! You keep it in the fridge then slather it on as a wet face pack. It dries to a degree, but not really "cakey". It feels spectacular. As it has been really hot lately the coolness of this mask is really calming and your skin feels fresh and alive afterwards. Wash off with a hot flannel.

Tips: As it is fresh it has a two week life span although the girl in the Lush shop said it will probably be ok for another week after that. The pottle isn't huge but a little bit goes a long way so i'd say you'd need to use it twice a week for 3 weeks to fully use it. So just don't put it in the fridge and forget about it.

Could almost eat it!

This fresh face mask is divine! Love this smell of it and it's texture. I find it is really cooling and soothing to the skin. I tend to use it when I have bad acne and need something to give my skin a bit of a pick me up. Leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth as well as taking away any redness I may have had

Tips: Keep it in the fridge, feels a lot better on the face when you take it straight from the fridge!

Lush Catastrophe Cosmetic

Use this at least once a week. Because it is so natural I trust it 100% if my skin is a bit broken out. Its so gentle and calming but also flushes out my pores. I always notice a huge difference in my skin/acne after using this. Totally recommended, especially for senstive/acne prone skin.

Tips: Apply with a flat foundation brush for even coverage and to keep your hands clean!

It's comedogenic

This mask has comedogenic ingredients, so while it's quite soothing and cooling, it also means I ended up with quite large, sore pimples.

It's a Catastrophe!

I have been watching the forums mention Lushes products which sparked up my curiousity about their products. Lush is an animal cruelty free brand . Most of the contents inside of it are sourced from natural ingredients.

Packaging comes in this small tub. Reminds me of the size of a pottle of youghurt. Maybe slightly bigger than that. The black little containers were easy to open. They sealed well when closed too. They suggest that you refridgerate this product to keep it fresh.

Consistency of this mask is reminds me of a clay mask with shards of blueberry scattered through it. It's a smooth feeling clay. Now the smell of my mask smelled like chamomile essential oil. I did not have a blueberry scent smell at all. I cleaned my face beforehand, put this mask on. It settled on my face and dried out. As it dried bits of clay was falling off my face like snow flakes. It was quite messy.

My results were smooth clear skin. Felt so hydrated from it. The smell didn't bother me. Was the mess that was annoying. Other than that, was a really good product. I'm not sure about price as I brought it from a marketplace. Definately want to buy more Lush products.

Swear by them !

If you have not tried these, leave your seat right now and go pick one up. The are amazing. I literally used every last drop. They made my skin ah-Ma-zing! Fresh, clean, refined pores. I have scarring and these masks made my skin look healthy and glowy. My foundation applied smoothly after and looked flawless! Ah I can't tell you how great these are. They are natural! And you need to refrigerate them and use them before they go off, which is a breathe of fresh air in such a paraben world.

Tips: I used these before I went out and before I did my makeup. Always made my skin look flawless and gleamy in pics!

Yummy Blueberries!!

Catastrophe Cosmetic was recommended to me by the girls at lush as I get break outs. It comes in a cute little pot and looks and smells delicious - like blueberries!! It doesn't last long as its only 75g so I only use it once a week as it is a little pricey. It has a nice texture on the face, feels like clay and actual pieces of blueberries! its divine! And my skin feels so calm and soft after washing off. I would love to use it twice a week but it just wouldn't last :( but I am so happy with this face mask it calms my breakouts and makes my skin feel lovely :)

Tips: Read the expiry date! mine only lasted 3 weeks from when I bought it! but if it looks and smells ok its fine to use :) oh and keep in the fridge!
