I've been using dream Cream for a week now. The scent smells like lavender and the texture is between thick and thin which is great because I don't like either of those textures. When I put it on it does absorb quite well and leaves my skin feeling moist until the next morning. The lotion is a bit oily though which is the only down side.

Tips: It's quite expensive for what you get
I have eczema prone skin so I am on the lookout for products to soothe it when I break out in a itchy, red rash. I read rave reviews on Lush Dream Cream so had to pick up a sample of this. I luckily was able to get a given a generous sample. Recently I was doing a lot of sanding, varnishing and helping my dad repair things around the house in addition to the daily cleaning and cooking, dishes, etc. I had done everything I could do to stave off eczema by wearing gloves and apply a layer of vaseline in addition to handcream when I good apply one but after the red, itchy, bumpy patch appeared it was clear I would have to slow down on the DIY around the house. I pulled out my generous sample of Dream Cream and applied this to the itchy bumpy skin and it definitely soothed the itch from the first application. I then kept it on my desk to reapply whenever I thought of it and had a chance to and within days there seems to be a remission of the angry, red patch. My skin is definitely less itchy and the bumps have started fading. I really like that this lotion is light and absorbs in comparison to thick creams that are usually used to treat eczema. It has this herbal oat scent not my fave but the benefits of this lotion out way the scent. I like that this lotion is mostly natural as well. At around $35 for 240g it's cheaper than a lot of other eczema treatments. If mainly use it on my irritated skin it will last me a really long time so I definitely plan to purchase this once my sample is up.
Tips: Definitely get a sample if you can from Lush. It doesn't smell as good as their other products but it's amazing for soothing irritations so worth a try.
This cream really is dreamy! The first thing I noticed when opening the pot was the heady smell of lavender. Pure lavender, not granny lavender. The type of lavender that lures you into a deep peaceful sleep (well if you're lucky when it comes to sleep, unlike me!)
It's a thick white cream but is easy to apply. It feels soothing when you put it on and doesn't feel like it irritates at all. This would be great for sensitive and eczema prone skin. It certainly didn't upset mine. It leaves a smooth coating on the skin without stickiness.
I got a small tub of this is in a gift box but I would definitely buy it again in the large tub. Yes it's pricey for a body lotion but feels luxurious enough to match its price tag.
I really hate giving Lush a low rating but I was completely put off this dream cream because of the scent!
I ordered this online, I knew it smelt like lavender but was not prepared for the over powering smell of lavender it actually had.
The cream itself is so beautiful and soft to touch and rub into the skin. It absorbs nicely and the feeling lasts for sometime.
I purchased this due to having sensitive and dry skin on my hands. Although it did hydrate my skin and leave it feeling soft I just couldn't get over the smell!
I'd love this cream if maybe it was a subtle lavender scent! :)
This cream comes in Lush’s instantly recognisable black pot, and was in the I’ll Be Home For Christmas pack I bought from Lush at New year.
It is a moderately thick white cream, which is very silky to touch.
It has a very strong lavender aroma.
It claims to be a soothing and cooling cream designed to go on the most sensitive and easily upset skins. It is certainly soothing and cooling, but my skin is normal/dry on my hands, feet, and legs where I’ve been using the cream, so I can’t comment on its usefulness for sensitive skin.It absorbs very quickly and leaves a silky soft feel behind it.
The strong lavender scent is relaxing, but maybe too strong for anyone who doesn’t like lavender!
I like this product very much and I recommend this to others, and would suggest it as a good starter product for young girls. At the price, it’s a great gift and would make a fab stocking filler. I can’t wait to try the other products in the range.
If you know Lush products you will know their basic black pot that they use for their gorgeous creams. I love the fact that there is a sticker on your pot telling you who made yoyr product and when to use it by, how cool is that?
This cream is a lovely whiteish colour and has an amazing aroma of lavender. Lavender's scent can have a soothing effect on its own, but mixed with other ingredients like olive oil, cocoa butter, chamomile and oat milk your dry, chapped or sore skin will thank you.
You smooth this cream on and almost instantly you start feeling better, more moisturised and nourished.
As a little goes a long way this pot of dry skin relief will last you ages, and your dry skin will thank you.
This comes in Lush's signature black containers which I really quite like - they easy to handle and get in to.
The product itself seemed a bit thin when I first used it and I wasn't sure it would be at all moisturising for my dry legs but it really was. You don't need to use handfuls of it either. It glides on very well and is a little wee bit oily but doesn't take too long to absorb. The only thing I'm not 100% sold on is the smell. I see a lot of other people mentioned the lavender smell, but for me it was the oats. But the smell doesn't linger at all so I can live with this. I would repurchase this product!
Dream Cream is exactly as it name says.
I have several of the small pots in every place i frequent (Car, Office, Handbag, even my mums house).
I have ultra sensitive hands and struggle to find products that don't react and do as i need them to. While the consistency of the cream is a little thin it is very silky to touch.
This cream claims to be a soothing and cooling cream designed to go on the most sensitive and easily upset skins, and it does exactly this and some for the driest and most sensitive of hands.
It absorbs very quickly and leaves a silky soft feel behind it mixed with the amazing aroma of lavender and cocoa.
Tips: only need a small amount
This is the best Lush product that I have tried so far. no other moisturizer can really compare for me. I have extremely sensitive skin and as the name states, it is a dream cream. I use it all the time and there is no reaction to my skin whatsoever. It smells so beautiful as well even though there is only a subtle smell I absolutely love this product and would recommend it to anybody.
Although it says its a hand and body cream I use this on my face and it makes my skin feel so smooth and it really does help when my skins a bit red, irritated or dry. It has a pleasant smell it's really suitable for sensitive skin.
