Dream Cream hand and body lotion is one of Lush's best selling products that they make. I have had eczema since I was a baby and have tried everything under the sun to help heal the dry, sore, red skin that goes along with having eczema. I have the most sensitive skin you can imagine and have some very bad reactions to other products. I found Dream Cream over 5 years ago when I was looking for more natural products to use on my skin, that would not hurt or burn my skin when applied.
Dream Cream saved my skin in a time where I thought nothing was going to work. The oat milk, rose water and blue chamomile oil all help soothe and calm down the skin when it is irritated, sore and itchy. All the wonderful oils and butters that go into Dream Cream will leave your skin feeling soft and moisturised. The hint of lavender oil you smell along side the oat milk and rose water helps with a good nights sleep if applied before bed as lavender has calming properties to it. The lavender does not scent is not overpowering as it is mixed with other wonderful ingredients.
I have gone through many, many, many wonderful black pots of this goodness. It is the only moisturiser I will use on my children, as they have ended up with my eczema. They have never cried or flinched when having it applied to there skin. It stops the itching and helps with the redness, dry skin and relaxes them before bed.
This is also perfect to use during the Summer on sun burn. Pop a tub in the fridge for a few hours and then use. It is heaven on that angry, fiery sunburn and helps so much.
Do not let the price of Dream Cream put you off from trying it. A pot full lasts me a long time, as a little goes a long way. If you are close to a store, head in and ask for a sample they are more then happy to give them out, before committing to a full size tub of Dream Cream.
Now I love a good lush product but the one obvious flaw is the price. Now I received a tub of this as a gift and I would not have purchased this otherwise as I simply cannot justify paying more than $15 for a hand cream. Now I understand Lush is all about the natural ingredients and using recyclable packaging which I think is great and completely support but unfortunately I don't think this product is one of their best. It is very thick in consistency and doesn't really mosturize for a long period of time. Also I am not really a fan of the scent and personally don't understand the hype.
It is just a bit overrated for me
