Personal preference, Lavender isn't my favorite. So when I was gifted this ofcourse I tried it but didn't really get in to it. Sad really because I love Lush ❤ It's not you.. lush, it's me.

I really hate giving Lush a low rating but I was completely put off this dream cream because of the scent!
I ordered this online, I knew it smelt like lavender but was not prepared for the over powering smell of lavender it actually had.
The cream itself is so beautiful and soft to touch and rub into the skin. It absorbs nicely and the feeling lasts for sometime.
I purchased this due to having sensitive and dry skin on my hands. Although it did hydrate my skin and leave it feeling soft I just couldn't get over the smell!
I'd love this cream if maybe it was a subtle lavender scent! :)
I love body lotions and I'm quite particular about the ones I use so when I received this as a gift I was hesitant. I've only used this on my arms and legs because I'm not a hand cream person but I can confirm that I won't be repurchasing this.
The product itself feels lovely on the skin and leaves it feeling moisturised but with a name like "Dream Cream" I was expecting some sort of WOW factor. I was disappointed to discover there is no amazing fragrance. Upon opening the small tub I couldn't detect much of anything until my nose was up against the product and I could smell lavender which I find delicious!!
It has a semi-thick consistency that is easily spread and I liked that it didn't leave a greasy feeling behind. However if you're a little too enthusiastic with the application it won't be hard to end up a walking grease ball - so little by little lovelies.
The product leaves my skin feeling moisturised for a good few hours but I noticed that a few minutes after application when I run my hand over the area it doesn't feel smooth. I feel that my palm pulls/tugs at the skin which is unusual because I don't have this issue with my favourite body lotions.
That minor issue is not a deal breaker for me however the scent definitely is!? I love the smell of lavender but it seems to be mixed with a somewhat herbal scent which makes my nose wrinkle. I don't want my skin smelling like this so I'm lucky I received the 45g tub so it's a manageable size for me to finish and finish quickly.
I've been using dream Cream for a week now. The scent smells like lavender and the texture is between thick and thin which is great because I don't like either of those textures. When I put it on it does absorb quite well and leaves my skin feeling moist until the next morning. The lotion is a bit oily though which is the only down side.
Tips: It's quite expensive for what you get
I do like this product and I think yes it does what it say it will. But for the price, the size and the amount you have to use each time, completely not worth it! I would go through this so fast moisturizing my whole body!
I was recommended Lush Dream Cream when my hands were reacting to something in the humid Japanese summer. I was told it was the best product for sensitive skin.
That may be true, but - probably because of that - it seemed to lack anything special. There was no scent to speak of and I didn't notice my skin being overly moisturised by it.
On the plus side it rubbed in well and the lack of fragrance means it doesn't clash with your perfume.
If you have sensitive skin give it a shot, but I won't be buying it again at that price.
Tips: Lush are great at giving samples, so ask to try it before you buy it!
Now I love a good lush product but the one obvious flaw is the price. Now I received a tub of this as a gift and I would not have purchased this otherwise as I simply cannot justify paying more than $15 for a hand cream. Now I understand Lush is all about the natural ingredients and using recyclable packaging which I think is great and completely support but unfortunately I don't think this product is one of their best. It is very thick in consistency and doesn't really mosturize for a long period of time. Also I am not really a fan of the scent and personally don't understand the hype.
It is just a bit overrated for me
Tips: Coconut oil
This new years I have been hit with a fever. A Lush fever. Whilst I was away in Auckland I wanted to have my first in store Lush experiencs. I went to Botany Downs and it was there that I found this cream in a gift box. It's Christmas box with Rose jam. I was glad that these were both small because I wanted to give them both a try before commiting to a full sized pot. When I walked into the store the aroma of soaps and shower gels permeates the store. I highly reccomend going in if you haven't.
This Dream cream came in a 45 gram pot. This pot is black with the black and white lush labbeling on it. I find the lid fastened to this pot tightly. When I opened this pot I find a thick creamy glossy beige cream. I took some out and it feels surprisingly light weight on my skin. The aroma of this is simply magic. Smells like lavender , this gives me a sense of calming. I prefer to use this at night before I go to bed.
I like to use this after showering. My skin type is dry on my body and sentive combination on my face. I tried it on both areas and had no irritations at all. This melts into my skin. I like that it doesnt have a greasy after feel.
If your into herbal lavender scents then this is great. In comparison to my True body lotion I found this scent to be weaker than True. If you wanted a bargain then this would definately be the one to buy as the True one is very pricey. I can see a difference in hydration of my skin. Beware Lush is so addictive. I believe so far it has done my skin wonders.
This cream comes in Lush’s instantly recognisable black pot, and was in the I’ll Be Home For Christmas pack I bought from Lush at New year.
It is a moderately thick white cream, which is very silky to touch.
It has a very strong lavender aroma.
It claims to be a soothing and cooling cream designed to go on the most sensitive and easily upset skins. It is certainly soothing and cooling, but my skin is normal/dry on my hands, feet, and legs where I’ve been using the cream, so I can’t comment on its usefulness for sensitive skin.It absorbs very quickly and leaves a silky soft feel behind it.
The strong lavender scent is relaxing, but maybe too strong for anyone who doesn’t like lavender!
I like this product very much and I recommend this to others, and would suggest it as a good starter product for young girls. At the price, it’s a great gift and would make a fab stocking filler. I can’t wait to try the other products in the range.
I got a sample of this from lush to try out on my eczema because i had heard really good things. It stung really bad didn't absorb very well and overall didn't work for me.
