This bath bomb does smell really nice but I personally don't like the pop rocks in it I feel like like it isn't relaxing and when I have a bath I like to relax but with the popping all around me I can't but it has a nice smell just probably wouldn't use it again

I got this in a gift box from a friend and I was excited to receive it. I love getting new bath bombs.
This one is bright yellow, but once you put it in the bath you are surprised by a blue centre. I know they say it smells like toffee apple but to me it is more of a tart citrusy sort of apple. I read another review that said about the middle having popping candies and a piece of paper saying bang... none of that for me but it did fizz for longer than other Lush baths I have had lately. As usual for a lush bath it left my skin feeling nice and soft.
I really enjoyed this bath bomb but probably won't repurchase due to the scent not being my usual choice.
Lush.. Where Do I Start With this one It isn't a bath bomb I chose for myself, but instead one that was part of a gift set I treated myself too.
This bath bomb is the size of a tennis ball and is a bright yellow colour. I actually think it looks really cool since I am a fan of bright colours.
When I add it to my bath, it fizzes around like crazy and turns my bath a pee yellow colour (I know, doesn't sound very nice does it). The fizziness creates a thin layer of milky foam over my bath, and then when the bath bomb starts dissolving more, it hit the blue centre, which leaves watercolour-like streaks in the foam layer. Once the bath bomb is fully dissolved, the water turns a light green colour (I use it in a big bath).
When I lie in my green bath, and inhale the deliciousness of this bath bomb, it smells slightly sweet, fresh and musky all as the same time. I know this is supposed to smell like toffee apples, but I have never had a toffee apple so I have no idea what it smells like.
This bath bomb does smell delicious, and when the slight foamy layer has dissapeared, you can see a wee note floating around the bath, which says bang on it. So cute!
I have to admit this bath bomb isn't one of my Lush favourites, but one I would happily use.
My first one of these I ordered online and it arrived absolutely obliterated along with a couple of others so I assume somewhere between Lush and my place the package was dropped quite hard. Lush customer services happily came to the party and sent me a replacement package <3 love them for making it right :)
My first impressions of this bomb is that the bright yellow hue makes it look like a really big round lemon, I think at this point my mind is playing tricks on me as all I can smell is lemon scent... yet it clearly says apple; so I close my eyes and line up a few others moving them around and pick up one at a time... I can faintly detect apple but I;m still convinced it's more lemon.
I popped this into my bath water and watched the yellow fizz away madly to reveal a blue sphere inside (which turned the water green of course), the scent intensifies at this point and is slightly more apple (a tart apple maybe). Oh and the wee note inside (bang) made its way to the surface. The popping candy caught me by surprise as I hadn't read the write up thoroughly but it was a nice crackling chorus that lasted a minute or two.
I like the way my skin felt afterwards, moisturised by the foamy water.. refreshed and relaxed
Tips: Break in half if you wish to as it is quite a large bath bomb, or make a bath powder out of it to sprinkle in and fizz away (any broken ones I do this for my kids to enjoy)
I do think spending about $8 on a bath bomb for only one bath is a bit steep. but this product is very nice it colours the bathwater a greenish turquise colour with little shimmmers through it so it made a beautiful bath - which didnt tint my skin. it also leaves my skin feeling very sift and moisturised.
If you want bang for your buck then look no further than this bath bomb. The name "fizz banger" is perfect for this bath bomb because that is exactly what it does. Fizzes, bangs and pops all over the show.
This bath bomb is quite big and heavy it's bright yellow on the outside but once it starts to fizz, pop and bang it turns a dark green shade leaving the bath a lovely shrek green colour. Once it completely finished fizzing I noticed a little piece of paper floating around with BANG written on it, I think this is a cool touch from lush.
The scent is sweet and tart, like a big Granny Smith Apple. It fills the whole bathroom with the apple scent it's refreshing and almost energising. I think any of the citrusy smelling bath bombs really wake me up and clear my mind. I find these great if I have been stuck behind the computer number crunching (GST,budgets etc) it clears that "number drunk" feeling and refreshes the mind. Anyway back to the actual bath bomb.
It leaves a very slight Apple scent on your skin once dried and disappears after an hour. I really love this bath bomb for clearing my mind and giving me a sweet, sugar hit without the calories.
I picked this bomb up in the Melbourne store at the end of a very long day's shopping, eating and sightseeing and needed a pick me up before going out that evening. I chose this over the larger, more showy bombs as there was only a small bath at the apartment I was staying in (more of this sad story later) I was also attracted to the smell - a creamy spicy apple. No surprises there after all the cake I had consumed that day.
Most of the bombs I've used at home have been very fast fizzers but not this one. It was still fizzing by the time I got in and it released aqua blue bubbles. I could also clearly hear popping from the popping candy (previous bombs with this in, I could barely hear at all). I'm not sure if this is all to do with the water only been luke warm. So I attempted to top up the bath when I got in it. No. More. Hot. Water. Waaaaah!!!!!!! However, I did still stay in the now tepid, shallow bath for quite some time as this bomb was sooooooo lovely. The bomb continued to pop and still was not fully dissolved by the time I got out. Another thing I noticed when I topped up the water was that it foamed slightly which I've not seen a bomb do before. It left my skin lovely and soft without the need to moisturise afterwards. When I got out I made two discoveries: there was still hot water coming out of the other taps, just not the one for the bath (double waaaaaah!!!!!) and a little piece of paper from the middle of the bomb saying BANG!
Despite the circumstances, I really enjoyed this bomb and think it is really underrated. I can't wait to try it again in a hot bath to see if it fizzes and bangs as much as it does in a tepid one.
Tips: Don't over look this modest looking bath bomb!
The bath bomb smells great and leaves my skin super soft. After having a rough day and using this my muscles become relaxed and the scent also helps relax the mind in my opinion. The scent of lemon is also very clean and when not even in use the lemon can still be smelt in your bathroom. The fizzing rock things also awaken you which can be a great start to the morning
A simple delightfully smelling, soothing bathbomb, tirns your bath an orangey yellow and leaves a bit of residue but iverall reccomend.
Tips: Goes well with the yuzu and cocoa shower cream
I bought this to add to my ever growing collection of Lush bath bombs. I have heard and read rave reviews about it so of course I had to see for myself. The colour itself didn't grab me by the short and curlies but the promise of toffee apple had my heart.
The bright yellow colour somehow instantly lifts my mood which was a surprise, but I guess the mind has a funny way of working at times. I slipped the bomb in to my bath and was NOT impressed with the suspicious yellow colour of the water but was quickly entranced by the fizzing pop rocks which reveal the aqua blue sphere inside the bomb! It was a pleasant surprise, because really the yellow colour put me off and had me thinking of a toilet bowl yuck.
I heard about the paper with bang written on it inside and waited for mine to appear. It didn't! Sad face! I was excited to be able to experience a cute little touch such as that but was let down when it didn't appear. Nonetheless, I slipped in to the now green bath and could feel the pop rocks still bursting around me which both awakened my skin and felt relaxing at the same time!
I waited for the smell of toffee apple to fill my nostrils but all I got was a tart smell of apple like a granny smith. What a big disappointment that was! I like apple well enough but not as a bath time treat. All in all, not a bomb I would go out of my way for but it was alright. Average.
