Share a shower with our Flying Fox to send your spirit soaring. Our Foxy shower gel has the stunningly sensual scent of jasmine, ylang, cypress and palmarosa. It is so relaxing that even the most frantic, frazzled person will relax into a restful mood after a warm shower. Our boss, Mark C, originally thought that it’d suit stroppy women prone to moods. By all means, write to him with your opinions on that.

I got this to try because I love the range of shower gels from Lush. I bought the 100g bottle for $14.50 which is very, very expensive for a shower gel by supermarket standards. I prefer the Lush shower gels because of the cruelty free brand and the natural ingredients they use. So one day this found its way in to my cart and arrived at my place a week later.
The bottle is like all the other Lush shower gels with the black plastic flip top lid and low maintenence and no frills look. I find the cap hard to open at times and often break my nails trying to get in to it. The gel itself is like a rich honey colour and a runny honey consistency. I would expect a sweet smell by the look of it but it's very floral, with the dominant scent being jasmine. It's very strong and is not a smell I love whilst in the bottle. I have learned from experience that often the smell from the bottle is quite different or intense but once rubbed on your skin and lathered up it takes on a more subtle smelll and is better. I did this and found that the smell for me didn't get better.
The gel lathers up very well leaving creamy soap bubbles all over me after scrubbing it in to my skin with a loofah. It leaves my skin smelling of sultry jasmine with the slightest hint of ylang ylang. It says it calms a person down, even moody women (how rude) so I thought I would put this to the test. I would have been convinced to wash my hands with it even just to get the effect of the calming. I made sure I used it whilst in the middle of some gosh awful PMS and waited for the calming. I waited and waited. If anything the smell grew more sickly and I needed to get out of it. I was anything but calm to be honest. So no it doesn't work and the smell is not for me it's too floral yuck! Moving along from that!
This is a caramel colour in the normal Lush bottle but it doesn't smell that way. The first ingredient in this is honey, which explains the colour. The gel itself is a foamy dream once on the loofah and being scrubbed on your body. It cleans well and is a nice viscosity for a gel.
The smell itself is exotic floral and not sweet. The smell I find is off putting and it does interfer with which ever perfume I choose for the day. My shower holds onto the scent from this more than any other shower gel I have used. The bottle says you can use this to wash your hair, I tried once and felt it stripped my hair of everything thank goodness for conditioner, the smell hangs around your hair then rather than just your body.
I would skip buying this again and the scent is the reason. Some people like scents from shower gels to hang around but this is like bathing in perfume for me.
I have made it my life long ambition to try all of the Lush shower gels. So far I havent had one I didnt love.
I bought this one in the 100ml bottle for $14.50. We all know this is not the cheapest shower gel on the market but when you weigh up, what Lush stands for I feel it is well worth it.
This comes in the usual Lush shower gel bottle, dark brown with a flip top lid. The lid stays shut very well so if you happen to drop the bottle, rest assured you will not loose a drop of your gorgeous gel. In saying that, it can be a bit tricky to open when you have wet shower hands.
The colour is a beautiful honey/caramel. The texture is rich and creamy. I use a shower puff and you really dont need a lot of shower gel to have a good wash.
The scent of this is nice. There is jasmine and ylang ylang, such a nice combination. I dont believe it tames an angry woman.
My showers always feel a bit more special when using Lush products.
Tips: If you havent tried Lush products yet, dont wait too much longer.
Over Christmas my partner treated me to a Sugar Sugar gift box. I was so over the moon when he said yes. Everything in this box had everything I've been dreaming about trying. I noticed during the boxing day clearance not many of the main staple boxes were on sale. I was reccomended by worldofsooziewong to buy it before sale. Lucky I did because it did sell out over the Christmas period. Over Christamas I was hit with fever, Lush fever lol.
The bottle I got was a 100ml . I like that they have this size because its just enough to work out whether you will like it or not. Typically lush bottles are a clear and you can see through to this gel. Its a sturdy bottle very easy to open and shut. This formula looks like golden runny hunny. Its runny in consistency. It doesn't seperate like the other shower gels. I noticed snow fairy and Rose jam doing this. This scent smells like a big bunch of jasmine flowers. This scent is a strong floral fragrance.
When I use it it flows out of its bottle nicely. Doesn't stream out fast.It lathers up nicely over my body. Out of all the shower gels I have this one lasted me the longest afterwards. I've been testing it by not putting body moisturiser on and its lasted me a maximum of four to five hours. Ive had 14 uses out of this hasn't even reached half way.
If your not into Jasmine don't get this. Its really strong. Thankfully I love jasmine and I have enjoyed using this. I think its affordably priced. I would definately use it again because it lasts on my body for so long.
