One of the first and most repurchased bubble bar.
This is creates a bath that you must take before bedtime as the creamy bubbles with the lavender heady aroma leaves you drained, comforted and sleepy.
I love how this is designed to mimic a Hersey Kiss , whipped up to a peak with the purple streaks showcasing that it is lavender mottled throughout it's makeup Only occasionally do I get it with the lavender spike still attached at the top, this seems to shake loose quite often in transit, but when I do have it, it floats nicely among the bubbles keeping the lavender aroma topped up throughout the duration of your bath time.
Crumbing this, which does seem a shame to destroy it's prettiness, under running warm water sees it transfer your bath water into a mountain of soft, creamy white, pearl like bubbles that are created by the mass load, so that once you sink in your are surrounded by bubble mountains.
Turning your water a lovely soft lavender hue that is creamy to soften your skin. Once you can convince yourself that you can not top that water up with hot anymore or it'll spill onto the floor so you have to get out, your body is soft, your mind is relaxed and the only thing you can manage to do is flop into bed. Definitely not a morning bath product.
After talking about Lush and baths with some fellow beauty lovers I decided a rather fancied trying a lavender bath. So naturally I looked to see what Lush had to offer.
Lush's French Kiss Bubble Bar is lavender, rosemary and thyme scented. Personally I think a pure lavender bubble bar would have been even better but each to their own. For me the rosemary and thyme were just extra scents that muddled the relaxing aroma that comes with lavender.
To look at the bubble bar is purple and white with a sprig of lavender on it. It looks cute, romantic and I think would make a great gift.
In the bath, it makes the water a pale lavender colour and mostly smells of lavender but mixed in with a bit of rosemary and thyme which the later two remind me more of food smells. The bubbles were plentiful and as always I used spa bath jets to get the most out of the bubbles.
Tips: Lavender can help with sleep and headaches so try this bubble bar in a bath before bed to get the best relaxation benefits.
