I use it to before and after using lipsticks, makes my lips smooth before and gets lipstick off when I need it to. I thought the price was a bit much for the tiny jar but a little goes a long way and I haven't use anywhere near what I though I would. I makes my lips tingle a little after I use it but I think that's just because I scrub them quite a bit when I use it. Great product
It looks good, it tastes good and it does a good job, but only temporarily. I loved this product when I first got it, but after about a month it went off and that too me is a little annoying. If it lasted a couple of months I would purchase this again but a month for me is just not long enough.
I wasn't sure if i'd like this product, and though it was a bit expensive, but little did I know how long it would last! I've had this product for over a month and it's still pretty much full. I use this product morning and night, after brushing my teeth, and then apply a moisturizing chapstick. Helps keep my lips nice and smooth, and a must have for winter. Especially in Wellington where it's so windy!
I loved this so much I got it given to me as a gift after I had come down with a really bad flu and my lips had dried out and were ripped and cracked and so painful! Applying this the first time was weird I knew it would be like having wet sand on my lips but it was no where near as bad as that sounds. The smell was amazing I got given the bubblegum one but also have since bought the mint one and this one is great but not as great to eat! The price of these is reasonable for what you are getting in my opinion. My lips were repaired so well after using it and I am convinced this works better than anything else I have used before. I would highly recommend this as a gift or just if you are in need of a good lip scrubbing!
Tips: Keep in a area where the temperature doesn't drastically fluctuate, no where like the car as when it's been really cold it turns crumbly and almost dries out/freezes.
Great to use before putting on lipstick to get rid of the dry bits, try not to use to much as it is a small jar for the price you pay! I love the stuff but if you had the time you could easily make your own sugar lip scrub for a lot less.
omgsh this is the most delicious lip scrub ever!!! The first time I tried it, I laughed when i read the pot where it said to lick off the excess. Not only does it leave my lips soft and smooth, I find that I purposely put more on so I can eat it! It smells great and taste great and does what it says!
I would first like to say that yes it does taste like bubble gum. Sometimes im a bit naughty and eat a little bit after because how irresistibly amazing it tastes! It dies scrub your lips abd removes all that dry skin making it feel so soft after. Perfect for that perfect lipstick look. One thing that kind if sounds a bit gross is you are eating your dead skin off you lipsof you lick tthem afterwards....
Tips: Best time is straight after the shower when your lips are soft . Only apply a little or it will fall off your lips.
My sister got me onto this and I was pretty sceptical at first, but it is AMAZING! So easy and quick to use, and your lips are so silky smooth afterwards and perfect for applying lipstick on. I often use it before I am going out to make sure I don't have any dry, cracked lips as a base. I like the Mint flavour the best - it is fresh.
Tips: Wipe your mouth with a tissue afterwards to make sure you don't have any of the leftover grains around your mouth!
I tried the bubblegum lipscrub not only did it taste nice but it exfoiliated my lips like it said it would it made my lips incredibly soft and even made them look slightly more plump its a bit pricey but it lasts like a good 2 months i used it every morning before school i feel like i may have used a bit more then i really needed so if you were stingy the scrub might last you an extra 2 weeks or so :) the first few days i used it before school people noticed and complimented me on how full my lips looked :)
Tips: after the lipscrub i reccomend applying either ome paw paw ointment or lush's ultra balm because after when you rub your lips together your top lip is always surprised at how soft your lower lip is and vice versa.
I looove the smells of these lip scrubs. I have purchased 3 different ones so far to test them out, but I can't say I love the taste as much as I love the scents. The only one I have enjoyed taste wise so far is the bubblegum one. I have also purchased the popcorn one, which I really don't like the taste of and also the santa one which is limited edition at christmas time, which I also wasn't too fond of taste wise. They do exactly what they say though, they exfoliate really well and leave my lips feeling super soft. I just find it a little messy to apply though, I don't know if its just me or not, but I feel like I drop the sugar every where! Especially since I don't like the taste of some of them, I don't like to lick it off, so just wipe it off with a wipe or cotton pad. Over all, I think they are a great product if you like the taste! I will definitely be taste testing before I buy another flavour! The best thing about this product is a little goes a long way, so you will get to keep the product for a long time which is great value for money! Packaging is small and easy to store and carry in a handbag if need be too :D
Tips: Store out of the cold, other wise it will go all crumbly and frozen like. Also, taste test before you buy!
