Lush Lip Scrub Review

I bought the bubblegum lip scrub for my boyfriend who suffers from severe chapped lips, and the mint juleps one for myself from my local lush store.

I, of course, tried out both flavours, and they both taste amazing. The mint juleps tastes like mint choc chip ice-cream to me, and the bubblegum one is deliciously sweet. plus they only have natural, vegan ingredients which is important to me. Jojoba oil is a main ingredient, which is something I swear by.

The product itself is just a tiny pot of lip scrub. all you do is put your finger in the product, then rub it on your lips, buffing away dead skin, and then just lick it off! (which is the best part- did i mention it tastes amazing?) I love that it is so quick and easy to use, its so simple that this is one of the only products I've got my boyfriend to use on a regular basis!

And it gives great results, your lips immediately feel smoother and softer, and over a few weeks I really noticed the difference in both of our lips! Way less chapping and dry/dead skin which happens in winter. Plus as a bonus kisses taste even better afterwards, as well as being softer and smoother (;

It may seem expensive (I paid $11.50 at the wellington lush store for each pot) but you need such a tiny amount this will last me a few months at least.

Love love love !! I bought the mint scrub for the first time a couple years back, and i have not looked back, have brought multiple times over and over again! I use it daily as part of my morning routine. Prepping the lips extremely well before lipstick, i tend to use it before doing foundation followed by a lip balm depending if i'm feeling dry that day majority of the time i dont need a balm considering the scrub is quite moisturizing, which is removed before my daily lip product. Also it tastes delicious !

This is one of those Lush cult products, but surprisingly, I hadn't tried it until fairly recently. I do suffer from chapped lips when the weather starts getting colder, and so last winter I decided to bite the bullet and purchase this, along with the Elf exfoliating lipstick scrub, instead of just using my usual homemade sugar and honey scrub.

At the moment I have the Bubblegum flavour, which is absolutely spot-on in terms of flavour and colour, but my favourite is the first one I tried: Mint Julip, which is exactly like mint chocolate. So good! They have a definite flavour, so they're nice and yummy as well as smelling amazing.

I love the little jars that they come in: super compact and cute, but they store a lot of product, so last for ages (I only ran out of my first one after about 6 months, and that was with pretty much daily use). They can get a wee bit messy when scooping out the product with a finger, but a wee spatula or something similar makes it very easy and no-fuss.

To use, I just scoop out a small amount (you really don't need much; a pea sized amount is overkill), rub onto my lips with my finger, and then rub my lips together to exfoliate. You can rinse it off if you want, but these are perfectly safe and edible, which makes it very easy to use. Then I apply a bit of lip balm, and that's that! I do find that this works really well at exfoliating (it's not quite as heavy-duty as my Elf lip exfoliator, but that actually makes it better for everyday use), and it leaves my lips smooth and in good condition.

To be honest, I can get the same results from mixing a bit of honey and sugar and using that. However, I love the flavours of these, and they are cute and convenient to have around. For how long they last I think they're totally worth it and not that expensive, and so I will repurchase (I already have once!).

After seeing the enormous amount of positive reviews on Beauty Review, I decided to treat myself to this little gem. My first impression of this product wasn't that it wasn't oily enough, however, I soon realized that it is a perfect sugary consistency to rub onto my lips (and then lick off!). The smell and taste is amazing - 100% bubblegum sweetness! A few hours later after having licked/wiped off, the scent still remained on my lips which is a great bonus! They were left soft and smooth. Definitely recommend!

This is lush! absolutely in love with this product! My housemates purchased this for me as a birthday gift as i've blabbed about it for so long! i have not been disappointed!

This product has a very thick, dry and sugary consistency (which is good!!) and it smells and tastes like bubblegum (yes, you can lick it off your lips after!)

I presume that because this product is from lush, that it may not have a very long shelf life, but so far its amazing. you don't need a lot of product on your lips either, so the small little pot is going a long way so far!

The packaging is super cute, lovely little pot to keep, also like buying from lush because i know all the products are ethically sourced

will defiantly be repurchasing this product as it works so well on my lips, especially in winter when they get on the dry side, love, love, love!

I love this lip scrub as it is super yummy and makes my lips feel so much nicer and more smooth! However for very dry lips it doesn't remove all dry/dead skin and so in this instance it might be better to use something more heavy-duty. However I love the price and the fact that it is a natural product.

After hearing rave things about Lush lip scrub I just had to try it myself!! And it really didn't disappoint!

The wee tub it comes in although looks small is jam packed and you really only use a small amount so it lasts a really long time!

I purchased bubble gum along with some other Lush products online and loved the packaging they arrived in. each product has a wee sticker stating who made the product and when! Nice touch!

The scrub is really exfoliating and does a awesome job at reviving dry lips! I find it a bit messy so best to do it not just before going out!

The smell and taste it's delish and leaves your lips super smooth and ready for a splash of chap stick or lipstick

I love this lip scrub! I have the bubblegum flavour and i love the colour of it. It smells and tastes really yum. I use my fingers to scrub it on and it works a treat :)

It doesn't ex-foliate my lips as well as my other scrub but it still does the trick!

I would reccomend this product and the price isnt bad as it lasts for ages!

I am a huge fan of sweet lip scrubs especially when they don't contain any chemicals. So naturally, I had to get attracted to the oh-so-girly colour and the sweet bubblegum scent of this lip scrub.

My lips get slightly chapped in winters and so applying matte lipsticks is bit of an headache. I used to use sugar crystals and any essential oil for lips exfoliation, but then I got bored of the usual no smell and tried this bubblegum lip scrub.

It's basically a sugar exfoliator and contain vegan and cruelty free ingredients. The scrub is made of castor sugar and jojoba oil. It exfoliates my lips really well and my lips are extra soft after use.

The scrub is pink in color and it smells heavenly. I like its name my boy lollipop as it actually smells like candy. In fact, I got to admit that sometimes I open the Jar and taste a little bit as it is simply impossible to resist the taste and smell of it. They say that one can taste it anytime they want but it's definitely not meant to be enjoyed as a snack, no matter how tasty or yummy it smells :P

It comes in three flavours, popcorn, bubblegum and mint and the bubblegum one is my favourite. I simply scoop a small quantity out of the jar and simply rub it on my lips in circular motions. It's a sure shot way to get super soft lips.

Overall, I am in love with this product and whole heartedly recommend it to all.
