Tips: A little goes a long way
I love this product. So. Much. I genuinely have been using it since I was 12 when I got it in a gift set, and I keep going back. It doesn’t dry my lips out even if I just keep scrubbing, they feel moisturised afterwards and I almost feel like I don’t need to use a lip balm. It’s so worth the money and it smells incredible.
I have repurchased this a few times it smells amazing gets all the dead skin off your lips and leaves them feeling nice and smooth, if you haven’t tried this before I recommend giving it a go!
Tips: You can use either Finger,Tooth Brush or Lip Scrub Brush with this product
I purchased this on trademe a few months ago, I was looking for snow fairy shower gel and someone was selling it with this so I thought, yay what a great new product to try as I'd never tried a lip scrub before. It smells gorgeous, very sweet and it is a nice bright pink and I love anything pink so it won me there. It is a little messy to apply, I dab my finger in and always end up dropping a bit on the floor. I then gently rub over my lips (note the word gently! the first time I used it, I went way overboard and it hurt my lips!). After scrubbing you can either lick it off (It tastes good) or wipe it off. It does give my lips a nice smooth surface. Perfect I think if you are wanting to wear a very bright lipstick. I also apply lip balm straight away. Overall, I think it's a cute little product but it is messy so for that reason I probably wouldn't go out and buy it again specifically. I have another lip exfoliator in a lipstick form and it is much more user friendly.
Tips: Like I said above, rub gently! You only need to do it for a few seconds as lip skin is a lot thinner then anywhere else.
This non-abrasive lip scrub is made with sugar and jojoba oil, so leaves your lips soft and, dare I use the word, supple. It’s only $12.50 for a 25ml pot (and, trust me, a little bit of this product goes a long way). Best of all, since it’s made of sugar, once you’re done gently exfoliating, you can simply lick it off like the classy lady that you are.
Tips: This product also helps with the removal of stubborn lipstick after a night out so I occasionally use it as part of my makeup removal routine too!
This product is a must-have! My lips can sometimes get pretty dry and look 'flakey'.. Not a good combo for when you want to put a lippy on (especially as it draws even more attention to your lips that are as dry as the Sahara desert!).
This scrub is an amazing exfoliater and leaves your lips super smooth. Not only does it work wonders, but you can lick it straight off your lips for a cheeky sweet snack. I have this in Mint Julip which is my absolute favourite! It leaves you feeling minty fresh :)
I rave about this product all the time.. What are you waiting for? Go get your own!
Tips: Apply a moisturising lip balm straight after exfoliating with the lip scrub for ultimate softness!
After seeing such good reviews on this scrub I thought I would get some when I was at Lush.
Being in between seasons my lips have taken a battering with the change in weather and I love wearing lippy so needed something that would give my lips a go scrub.
I got one for my sister, her friend and myself. I got left with the pop corn flavor but it is still very yummy. This product does exactly what it says and leaves me with lovely soft lips after every use.
Tips: I can say these are addictive to use but you really need to only use it maybe twice a week so that you give your lips a break. And apply a balm after to give your lips a good moisturise
I absolutely love Lush products!
I love going into the store and picking out yummy smelling products. One of my favorite products is the Lip Sugar Scrub and I know that I could DIY this product but I always return to Lush as I love the packaging and it lasts forever.
I have finished off the bubblegum scrub and just bought a new mint sugar scrub. It leaves my lips silky smooth and I just use some lip gloss afterwards to keep them moisturised. The taste is so yummy and minty sweet too.
The only downside of the product is it could be a little pricey for what it is. I think a reasonable price would be about $8 and I paid $12.50.
We all love lush right? Right???? Well if you haven't meet our friend lush head into store and the lovely ladies will show you how it is done.
For those of us who know lush well - meat another of their friends.... who knew they made such yummy lip scrubs?!?!?!
It comes in a small container and feels like sugar (funny that) and melts into your lips. You do not need much at all (a little goes a long way) but if like me you often put too much on.... you often lick the extra off..... om nom nom
It really works your lips as well they are left soft and lush, (I am so puny today!) but seriously it is a gorgeous product to use as a base. I keep it at home so I either use it in the morning or the evening.
I love their bubblegum it is the one I am using currently BUT the xmas one is now in store and it is devine!!! I will be getting it next time!
Tips: Head in store and test them all out!! Mmmmmmm
Very big fan of these lip scrubs and have been using them for years. They come in cute 25g glass pots with a recyclable plastic lid. Easy to use and extremely effective. They have expiry dates but I’ve been able to use one pot for aaaages without going off or becoming less effective. Just scoop out a bit with your finger and rub into your lips to exfoliate and plump. When you’re done you simply lick away the excess. I love the bubblegum flavour and that’s what I’m using at the moment. I usually use this to prep my lips for lippie as it leaves them feeling soft and moisturised. In times of chapped lips I also find this is one of the only things to provide any sort of relief.
