Lush Lip Scrub Review

While I love the non-messiness of Elf's lip exfoliator, at the end of the day I'm too lazy to wipe off the scrub. And so instead of continuing to eat the bits of scrub on my lips, I ended up going for Lush because I could lick it off after wards. I bought this lip scrub in the Boxing Day sales the year before last and I've been using this nightly for about a year. I still have a little under half a jar left. This scrub tastes like mint flavored sugar and leaves my lips with a light, pleasant minty tingle. My lips are soft and smooth and this year I've barely had a problem with flakey skin on my lips. This has been good for prepping my lips for lip stains, lipstick, liquid lippy or just for lip balm before bed. While it doesn't scrub off lipstains if you have been wearing one all day it does do the basic light scrub maintenance and lippy prep. I would definitely repurchase this when my pot runs out. I like that while I wouldn't consume this in large doses it is designed to lick off your lips so it's made with natural and edible ingredients.

I absolutely adore this product. It does everything it says and more! I use the mint julips flavour and it works a charm! Removes dry skin instantly and tastes incredible!

This product does everything it says it will. Removes dry skin from lips , moisturizes and cares for the lips. And at the same time tastes delicious! You can lick off the sugar afterwards! Bonus!

This is the yummiest lip scrub I have ever tried...why have I not known about this sooner!

The tiniest amount on your finger does wonders for your poor,dry,cracked lips.Gets rid of that unwanted dead skin and leaves your lips feeling soft and smooth and kissable. Plus it tastes delicious.

Definitely worth your money as most Lush products are and super affordable :))) Yummiest lip scrub you will ever try and works amazingly!

I ma a huge fan of LUSH products and I find myself always looking for items that are a bit out of the ordinary like this! When I bought mine I won't lie its because it tasted amazing but It really works if you have chapped lips, I use it when they feel dry to get the extra skin off or I use it before putting on a lip balm and lipstick to smooth it out.

first time trying a lush product and was very impressed, I tried the Bubblegum flavoured lip scrub tasted and smelt amazing and had a gorgeous pinky colour to it. Lush Lip scrub really soften and moisturised my lips. Great product great price!

The bubblegum lip scrub smells like Candy Floss and sugar, I'd be telling lies if I said it didn't taste the same, it Does!!

New too the lip scrub scene I received this in a gift pack I purchased from Lush. The product comes in a little glass pottle with a black screw top lid. Inside a pink sugar exfoliant scrub.

It's moisturising and exfoliates the dead skin cells from my lips perfectly leaving them soft and smooth and ready for the perfect application of lipstick.

Apply a desired amount too your lips and scrub, if you like you can wipe it off or lick it off. Totally edible and fine for consumption, don't however think you can just eat it straight from the bottle. A) It wouldn't do what it's mean't too and B) it's not a meal lol. But yes have a wee taste when licking it off!

This was one of the first lush products i tried as the smell of the popcorn one drew me in and i couldn't resist. I don't actually think this smells like or tastes like popcorn but regardless i love it! The product itself works really well to exfoliate my lips and doesn't seem to do any damage to them regardless of daily usage. You also do not need a large amount of product so the small jar lasts for a very long time! As an added bonus you can just lick it off and the taste is amazing. I will definitely repurchase this, though from the small amount of product you need to use i doubt i will run out for a long time.

I have this lip scrub in the flavour Bubblegum. I purchased it over 6 months ago and it still hasn't run out. I generally use it every 1-2 days, so at $12.50 a pot it is great value for money!

I like to use it first thing in the morning before I have done anything to my face. I find in the morning is when my lips are at their driest and flakiest, so it is the perfect time to scrub them smooth. I like to use the scrub before anything else because the little bits of sugar can get everywhere. It can get annoying if you have stray sugar all over your face, so I wipe my face with a cloth after using it.

This product is really good at removing the dry bits of skin from my lips. The jojoba oil in the scrub also helps to keep my lips moisturised. It leaves a nice smooth base which is important when you want to apply a matte lipstick or liquid lip product afterwards. The Bubblegum flavour tastes amazing and I can't help to lick my lips clean as soon as I have applied it. If you've ever wanted to eat the Snow Fairy products that Lush makes, then buy this lip scrub because they use the Snow Fairy scent to make the Bubblegum scrub.

The Lush scrub isn't too oily or too crumbly like some other scrubs can be. It has the perfect consistency. As soon as the one I'm currently using runs out, I will be buying a new one. This scrub has becoming a part of my daily routine and I couldn't be without it!
