I took a bar of this with me on holiday. I love the colours of this product, so vibrant and happy, very yellow too, so yellow that I had to make sure the soap was dry after every use so then there wouldn't be a stream of yellow in soap dish at my aunts house after I had showered, it wasn't slimy, just very yellow. The fragrance was pleasant and fruity, it was a bit tame for my liking but my husband was happy with it and ended up using my soap too. It left my skin feeling smooth and clean like any decent soap should.

Lush Miranda Soap Review
Lush Miranda Soap We make Miranda with kiwi fruits because they are full to bursting with vitamin C and gently astringent on your skin. We add bergamot oil, which is said to be good for some skin conditions, because it smells of oranges. There’s toning ylang ylang and juniper berry oil to brighten up congested skin. Even more fruity than Carmen Miranda’s headpiece.

Tips: Make sure you have a soap dish with high sides so it doesn't leak yellow drips.
such a sensual soap to use, I got the chance to trial this product while travelling. I found the colours and look to be abit bland for my liking, not usually a product that catches my attention but I decided to give a go since im such a fan of the Lush range of handmade products.
I loved the fruity fragrance it had to it, very appealing to my senses. It did a good job in leaving my skin smooth and soft.
I was given a piece of this in Lush to try and finally got around to it pre-Xmas.
The one I have is a different colour to the pic above (mines bright yellow and orange with kiwifruit seeds) but the rest is the same.
The scent is classic Lush - divine on the product and in the shower, fades over the day, and isn't strong enough to clash with anything else I wear.
This is a citrussy smelling soap sweetened out with the kiwifruit, that lathers well and cleans without stripping skin. I keep my piece in the shower but only use it to wash my hands, and it's perfect there.
Like all Lush soaps it's a lovely scented, quality soap that's a little piece of luxury in the morning.
Tips: Lush are generous with the samples - of you ask for a sliver of this to try I'm sure they'll do that for you.
I really liked this soap when I first smelled it, I'm a sucker for anything tutti-fruity and this one's smell definitely didn't disappoint!
But that's where it stopped for me. The soap itself lasted a week before it was finished, and I found that to be a bit of a let down especially after trying other Lush soaps that lasted three to four times that long. $8 a week for soap is a little expensive haha!
Normally I use shower gel, but I bought different soaps on the boxing day sale to try them out and I was the most disappointed with Miranda.
I've found that it doesn't make as much foam as the other soaps and I had to apply it twice to three times every time to be able to wash my whole body.
The soap itself is also much more moldable than the others and it doesn't hold up well in heat. If you touch it you leave your fingerprints on it and it gets dirty really really easily.
I'd repurchase to put it in my room to smell good, but for actual use I probably wouldn't repurchase.
Oh my god I love this soap. I love the look, I LOVE the smell, and it makes my skin feel soo good and I smell wonderful! It is fruity, (and I'm not usually a fruity fan), it looks funky, I love how Lush makes all their soaps look so interesting. And even before I started using this soap in the shower I had it sitting on my duchess for a month, while I was using all my other Lush shower products :), and just the fragrance in the room was divine. I'm a real Lush convert these days, and I love trying all their new products.
Tips: Bathe in the glory of this gorgeously fragranced soap ;)
I purchased a 100gm piece of this kind of on a whim when I placed an online lush order. It was down to $4 and I thought why not?
This comes in just a basic clear plastic bag with a white printed out sticker displaying the weight and the name of the soap. It's definitely not flash, but lush never claim to be flash on packaging! I'm not sure how well the soap would survive long term in this packaging but it should be ok for a while.
My soap looked a bit different to the one pictured. It is actually mostly a pastel green. I does have a few coloured bit's in it as well. The beauty of lush's soaps are that they will all look slightly different as they are cut off a larger piece of soap. I think it looks pretty unique and if you had a few different pieces of unpackaged lush soap, it would be pretty easy to recognize this one.
I don't really know what I was expecting this to smell like, maybe citrus? When I first smelled it, I was delighted. It reminds me of fruity candy. It's super sweet but not sickly at all. I'm currently just using this as handsoap, I love how it leaves my hands fragranced for a good couple of hours after using it. I find this lathers up really well too. I also like how this doesn't seem to go all gross and squishy too. It has retained its harder texture.
I'll definitely buy this again in the future. I did go overboard in the lush sale so I don't need any soap for a while anyway! If you like sweet scents, I'd definitely recommend this one.
Tips: You are able to ask lush instore or online for samples, so if you're not sure, definitely get a sample to try.
I bought this soap on line from Lush, with some other products – because I LOVE Lush!! I love that this soap has lots of lovely oils in it.
Mine doesn’t look like the picture, and is completely light green, with a rectangular/wedge shape.
I love the smell, and love that it lingers in the bathroom and on my skin.
It lathers nicely, and I don’t find it drying, though my skin initially feels a little tight after using it, but find that it leaves my skin feeling soft and clean.
All I can say is YUM. Another product that lives up to the Lush reputation.
I'm a huge fan of Lush soaps. I have very dry skin and I find these clean really well without leaving my skin a flaky mess. I've been using Lush soaps exclusively for a year now and have been trying out all the different scents. Miranda is one that I keep consistently reordering for its delicious fruity scent. I find that these soaps don't always handle a wet, steamy bathroom environment very well if you leave them exposed, but I get around this by cutting off a small piece to use in the shower and storing it in a water tight soap dish. A small piece will normally last a few weeks and I leave the rest of it in my drawers to make my clothes smell amazing.
Tips: Lush has a good website if you're shy like me and sometimes find a visit to the store a little too confrontational. They often send free samples too.
I got this soap because while I like Lush I prefer soaps without sodium laureth sulfate and this one was sulfate free and had a lot of oils in it. However the scent wasn't as fruity as I expected in fact is smelt a bit like a hint of kiwi and then stale something. But I still wanted to use it because Lush generally produces good soaps and because of the ingredients. This soap has glycerine, rapeseed oil, coconut oil and fresh kiwi fruit. It lathers up pretty well. I've been using it with a shower puff and it's okay but it's not outstanding. My skin is pretty sensitive and do have those red marks after I shower. But other than that it's okay. I don't think my skin feels any of the moisture from the oils in the bar. Luckily the scent doesn't linger on my skin and once I rinse the lather off and apply moisturizer the red marks go away. I will continue to use this soap up but I probably won't repurchase. It's not a bad product but just not for me.
Tips: Definitely request a sample from Lush if you can so you can test and try it before you purchase.
