I loathe bananas, and I have to admit that I'd avoided even smelling this one in the store because I thought it would smell of bananas. It was only recently that I decided to have a smell, because it sounded like it did exactly what I wanted - moisturise.
WOW was I surprised, it didn't smell at all of bananas... it smelled like HEAVEN. Seriously, this is one of the best smelling things I've even used as a cosmetic product (and actually smells better than pretty much most food!) I think it must be the vanilla?
But enough of how wonderful it smells, it actually works really well! It's cooling and soothing when you put it on, and it works well on any dry spots you might have on your face. It didn't get rid of any extremely dry spots, but it worked really well on the milder spots. My face felt amazing and soft after I washed it off.
I would totally recommend this, it's a wonderful product!
I was introduced to this mask many years ago. It is one of the first masks I used that didn't hurt or react with my skin.
It looks like porridge so not all sexy! Keep it stored in the fridge in the original wee pot it comes in. Place all over your face and giggle at the sight you look! It smells fresh not overly sweet like banana. I put it on and leave it to sort of dry. If you leave it to dry fully the oat bits fall off and can get messy.
I like to use it when my skin is really dry, it will have a red irritated look. After leaving this on for awhile you can feel your skin calm down. When you wash it off your face it is left feeling smooth and moisture rich as well.
Tips: Keep the pots as you can take them back to get free masks
