Lush Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub Cleansing lime, coconut and sea salt scrub. Ocean Salt is like taking your face on a trip to the seaside for an invigorating splash in the water, then cleansing and refreshing it with lemon, grapefruit and lime juices. Fresh avocado moisturises and softens the skin, while violet leaf absolute calms and nurtures. Use it on oily skin every day and use it to refresh dry skin once a week.
This is a little pot of gold! I use it whenever my skin feels dull, dry or even when I'm getting little bumps on my face. Scrub it away and you wake up as good as new the day with smooth, soft, bumpless skin!
Gets rid of all the dead skin in just a few minutes because of the salt in it! If you have sensitive skin, then this isn't for you because the salt is quite harsh but that's what I love about it! Don't need a lot of product either, so it does last!
Tips: There's two versions of this product - one that's more gentle on your skin but if you're looking for a course scrub, get the original one! The gentle scrub is just like any other scrub and I felt it was "too gentle", I like when I can feel a scrub really work!
This is was my life saver when I was younger and my skin was oily and combo as it would keep the pimples away and my face smooth.
Tips: Be gentle and remember it is salt so any open wounds or pimples are likely to sting
This is an absolute must to have in the shower. I use this scrub on my entire body and feel silky smooth afterwards. As the name of the product says, this does indeed smell like the ocean. Although I find some lush products expensive, this scrub is good value for money as a little goes a long way
Tips: If you are using this in the bathroom, wet your face first as it can be a little too coarse when it goes onto dry skin.
Big chunks of salt in this scrub. Leaves your face silky smooth. Lasts reasonable well too. Good scrub with salts instead of beads so it's a lot better for the environment. However if you have sensitive skin beware that it contains perfume and colours in it which may aggravate your skin.
Tips: Scrub softly as the salt does the work for you. I only use this once a week as it's coarse.
Ocean Salt is one of my absolute favourite Lush products. I love the scent as I love the smell of limes; its so fresh! I was abit wary to begin with as I have sensitive skin and thought that the salt may be abrasive; however this cleanser is so gentle on my skin and very exfoliating too.
Love to use this to freshen up my skin when it's looking a little dull!
Buffing it over the skin to help exfoliate and give you a polished look. I find this exfoliator is gentle but does the job really well. The sea salt gives a soft ocean like scent.
Can be used on face and body but I prefer it as a body exfoliator.
Tips: Wet the area you'll be using this on first before applying.
I like the smell of this, really smells like the sea, but the lemon scent is a tad overpowering..
I liked how it worked at first made my makeup really nice to apply, but after about an hour prior to scrubbing my face started to hurt and turn red. Moisteriser helped a little though.
It's not too bad on your body as an exfoliant, if done lightly but I wouldn't use it on my face again.
I'm really not 100% sure if I would actually repurchase this because of how abbrasive it actually is.

I tried this as a generous sample over the last month and it really does give a nice soft, fresh face and body. I went in and had a consultation with a very helpful staff member at my local store, she recommended I try a couple of products and this was one to be used once a week to help me with my blemish prone skin.
The product is thick and pale green with rock salt throughout, you apply it like you would any other exfoliating scrub by massaging it GENTLY into your skin. I tried it on my face a few times and it burns... like really stings to a point where I wondered if my skin would be red raw after (my guess is the salt and my broken skin but ouch!). I washed it off moments after applying it each time as the burn was something indescribable! I dreaded looking in the mirror but when I did I was pleasantly surprised... not even a bit of redness (so confused by this). My skin was so soft and instantly fresher looking... less dull too.
I tried it on my body as well as my face... no burning or stinging below the jawline so I continued to use it where I felt necessary. Honestly these samples are huge. I would purchase this even with the stinging as it doesn't redden my face and the result was great. Definitely for one a week use and no more though.
Tips: Grab a sample or at the very least a consultation if you can :)
I haven't bought this as it's a bit out of my price range but I tried it in store. It works really well. It hurts a bit to put on as it is quite rough but it made my skin really smooth.
During Christmas my partner and children hand picked some lush for my christmas present. This scrub was in there. I have never noticed this scrub before . I go into lush often , this one never jumped out at me. My skin is dry especially my legs. I was looking forward to seeing what this scrub was like.
I got my scrub in a 120 gram tub. Tubs sturdy and I like that they can be swapped for a mask. I wish more stores would do that. Consistency of this scrub is smooth but coarse . It's refined well. It smells like a salty ocean in a tub.
I like to exfoliate my legs with this scrub. It smooths out easily. It's not crumbly and doesn't fall out everywhere like other scrubs I've used. Afterwards my legs feel smooth and soft. On another ocassion I tried it on my face. It exfoliated well for me.
This was my first body and scrub combo I've tried from Lush. It's lasted me three months and counting. That is exfoliating my body once a week. I think there is good value for money with this one. It ticked all the boxes for me , I would happily buy this one .
