Here we are in September and I am still making my way through last year's Lush Boxing Day sale haul! Having had a sneak peak of what's coming this Christmas, I need to start clearing the decks, fast!
I crumbled half of this bad boy under running water in a little net. Usually a much smaller amount will yield masses of bubbles with this method but I only got an adequate amount this time. This does not have a distinct smell, just a sweet aroma. It kinda smelt like standing next to the bomb displays in Lush when the smells all blend together. It turned the water a orangey red with white fluffy bubbles.
This left my skin feeling soft without moisturising afterwards but the scent did not linger on me. This was a pleasant enough soak but I wouldn't choose this over the new things coming this Christmas.
After reading and seeing the article on the LUSH Christmas goodies, I had my eye on the Peeping Santa bubble bar, it looked so cute and adorable! I don't have a bath in my home but I knew I would be able to use this when I go to my mothers or grandparents house as they have big bath tubs! A little over 2 weeks went by before I was able to use this, and let me just say it was well worth the wait!
The Peeping Santa bubble bar is quite big, its big enough to use sparingly but if you know me, I go full ball or not at all! So I ran the bath tub and wet this before crumbling it into smaller pieces, I found this bar was harder and more dense to break up, if you didn't crumble the pieces it didn't fully break apart in the bath.
As you can imagine it smelt like bliss, the sweet aroma could be smelt down the hall way of my grandmothers house! It has sweet scents of candy floss, strawberry which was smothered in flowers, it is hard to explain all the different fruity and floral notes in this bubble bar because its a mix of many.
I will be buying this again before Christmas finishes, or maybe 2, they smell amazing and leave your skin smelling so deliciously sweet and smooth. And prepare for a mountain of beautiful bubbles!
Tips: I let the bubble bar soak for a few seconds before breaking it apart as this bubble bar was more compact compared to other bubble bars I have used.
