If you have dry skin (like me), you need this. Argan Oil is a product that is amazing fr dry skin - I use a pure oil on my face as part of my skincare routine. When I spotted this in Lush I decided to give it a go.
Although the directions are to rinse this off, I actually use it as a body moisturiser. Even though it leaves your skin feeling hydrated when you follow the directions - using it as a moisturiser really nourises and hydrates my awfully dry skin.
The packaging is typical of all Lush packaging. The scent of this is beautiful, it reminds me a lot of their Rose Jam body wash. The scent is quite strong s if you aren't into heavily perfumed products then you may want to skip this. Even though I am not a fan of rose scented products, this is delicious - it is a more sweet rose smell as opposed to a grandma kind of rose smell.
A little of this goes a long way and the cream is quite thick. When using it both according to the directions and as a moisturiser it is absorbed into the skin and leaves you feeling smooth and hydrated.
This is a must have product in the winter for my super dry skin and I definitely recommend you give it a go.
I bought the Elf's Workshop gift from Lush at Christmas and this was one of the incredible treats inside it.
It wasn't full sized, only 45 ml but it was still a lot. The first of two problems I have with it is that I used it up in two uses. So it's about 20ml per bath/shower which will amount to ten uses for a whole container.
I seriously do not know where the Rose Jam scent in this is, because I only smell the overpowering scent of brazil nut - which to be honest, I really love! I had a bath with this 5 hours ago and I can still smell the brazil nut as if I just applied it.
If you've used the Nivea In-Shower Body Lotion - this is exactly the same! Just a slightly thicker consistency, a bit messier because it's in a pot and not a bottle and it smells so much better.
This is exceptionally good for my dry skin, and if I use this I can go up to a week without applying any other cream/body lotion/body butter etc.
The second problem I have with this is that when you wash it off it doesn't really come off and you can feel a bit oily for a few minutes until it has absorbed fully into your skin. It doesn't come off on your towel, but it takes a while to absorb.
I would buy this purely because of the smell, but not for everyday use. I'd buy it as a treat, yes.
