Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. Ro knows good rose and her nose knows it! Use like a hair conditioner, simply shower as normal and then apply all over the body, rinse off and pat dry.

A beautiful, rose jam scented body conditioner that’s full of the most emollient, moisturisingingredients possible to feed and nourish the skin. There’s cypress oil, capuacu butter, Brazil nut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter and super softening almond oil, along with Argan oil of course, which is rich in vitamin E and incredibly moisturising and soothing on the skin. There’s also a touch of spring water to cool the skin down. The 20% glycerine locks in all this moisture, leaving your skin soft, smooth, supple and the fragrance leaves you delicately scented like a rose bush being kissed by the first rays of morning sun.

I really wanted this to work!

I do LOVE this product, just not for the use it is intended for, hence the reduced rating.

I have permanently dry skin, from head to toe. I think I was born with zero oils in my skin, so I was rather hopeful when I bought this product. However I used it religiously for the first week and noticed no difference whatsoever.

I was still having to moisturise after my shower, which defeats the purpose entirely. To me, it was just an extra unnecessary step. The Lush sales assistant said it can also be used as a hair treatment, but I already have a hair routine I'm happy with so haven't tried it for that.

The way I've made it work for me is by using it as an under arm shaving cream. I'm telling you, it's amazing! I used to constantly get irritated underarms after shaving but since I began using this 4months ago I have had zero irritation. Nada. Zilch.

I too, in the beginning, was not a fan of the scent, but as time goes on I really don't mind it. An added bonus is that I've still only used half the tub, so I definitely feel like I'm getting my monies worth!

Tips: I always pop some in a tester sized container to take with me when I'm traveling, super easy!

A hair treatment?! That sounds like a bit of me - especially with how delicious this smells! That's great about the under arm situation too - def. keen to get a pot and try it out! Sounds like it has many uses!

I haven't tried the Nivea one yet, I stocked up on far too much shower gel that I'm still working through, so I still have it sitting there from the Dec BRBB! I tried this one as a moisturiser after my shower though, and love it! Thanks Janini

Have you tried the Nivea in shower body moisturiser? I have horrible skin and break out in psoriasis if I don't look after it because it gets so dry.

Sarahbeautynz

I keep meaning to give that a go! I'll try and remember to do it tonight because if it works that would be amazing!

I use this as a body moisturiser on its own without the shower. I have extremely dry skin and this is super moisturising and stays that way for hours.

Worth Every Penny.

If you have dry skin (like me), you need this. Argan Oil is a product that is amazing fr dry skin - I use a pure oil on my face as part of my skincare routine. When I spotted this in Lush I decided to give it a go.

Although the directions are to rinse this off, I actually use it as a body moisturiser. Even though it leaves your skin feeling hydrated when you follow the directions - using it as a moisturiser really nourises and hydrates my awfully dry skin.

The packaging is typical of all Lush packaging. The scent of this is beautiful, it reminds me a lot of their Rose Jam body wash. The scent is quite strong s if you aren't into heavily perfumed products then you may want to skip this. Even though I am not a fan of rose scented products, this is delicious - it is a more sweet rose smell as opposed to a grandma kind of rose smell.

A little of this goes a long way and the cream is quite thick. When using it both according to the directions and as a moisturiser it is absorbed into the skin and leaves you feeling smooth and hydrated.

This is a must have product in the winter for my super dry skin and I definitely recommend you give it a go.

yummy

Ro's argan oil is an in shower moisturiser in which you apply and massage into your skin and wash off ( although I have used this without being in the shower and without water just as a general moisturiser)

I love it! A little bit of product on your fingertips goes so far with the water added in, the scent is delicious as it fills the shower with its aroma!

I love to pair this with a Frank Body Scrub or Buffy by Lush followed with a body wash ( Rose Jam by Lush is so yummy with it!) And then Ro's Argan! And is my skin so silky afterwards! My sister told me I felt like slimy frogs skin... m mm compliments.

The product itself varies in my eyes, from the various pots I've seen to a yellowcreme colour to a light brown, I think it's just batch differences. It's a thick formula that glides over the skin so effortlessly. The scent is quite sweet and strong so you want to keep the scents you use along side this similar so you don't start to smell a bit funky.

I personally hate moisturising as I find it very tedious and hard work ( haha) and I genuinely forget, so it's lovely to do it all in one step in the shower! this is worth the money, you'll never need another moisturiser again and you'll save so much time !

I definitely recommend this to everyone, as I bought about 4 family members a little tub for Christmas!

Great review... I was a bit skeptical about these body conditioners (like why do you need to rinse it off?) but I've tried the Nivea one and actually it really works for me. Been wanting to switch to a more natural one, this sounds good!

Heaven in a tub

I really wasn't too keen on buying this because it was so pricey, but they recently came out with a smaller tester kind of size so I got that and wow I love it and I'm tempted to buy the full size. It makes my skin feel so amazing and I really love how it smells. I love how ethical lush is as a company, so that makes me a little more willing to spend a little more money. You are supposed to use this in the shower and then wash off, like the nivea in shower moisturiser, but I also feel like I can use it like a regular moisturiser too. I'm usually pretty lazy but the smell of this makes me want to use it all the time

My mum has this product. She didn't even REALISE it was supposed to be for in the shower (cos it's only written on the container!!). So no, you don't have to use it in the shower :P

Lush & Luxurious

The first time I tried this product was in a Lush Shop, where a lovely girl who worked at the shop gave me a little demonstration of how this product worked, using my hand to test the product out.. And wow. My hand felt so smooth and soft and amazing. Then I saw the price of this product, and knew it was a lot of money for a product that literally got washed down the drain. So it was lucky that I received this product as a gift.

This product. Well its lush.. not as in the store, but as in luxurious. In comes in a black container, like a lot of the lush products, which is handy because not water gets into it, so I feel happy leaving this in the shower!

The body conditioner is a pinky-beige colour, but very pale and soft and looks just like a thick moisturizer at first glance. It has a lovely consistency; it feels like a nourishing rich cream, which really is thick and creamy with a slight sheen to it! It also has a soft delicate rose scent to it, which normally I’m not a fan of, but I really liked the scent within this product.

I find a small dollop of this is enough to cover most my body, and the richness of this cream means I know a little product is enough to do the job, so I don’t have to smother myself in this conditioner. I leave it on for a few minutes (if I can wait that long) before rinsing off. And here is what comes next. I love this stuff. I can actually hope straight out of the shower and do whatever I want to do, without worrying about moisturizing my skin. My skin has no dry patches (which is usually does), but instead actually feels like it has just been moisturized. My skin feels healthy, smooth and has a rich moisturised feel to it which actually lasts!

I love this product, and would love to buy it again but $40 is a lot of money for something that just goes down the drain, especially when money is a bit tight at the moment. I would consider buying this on special though, so I’ll keep my eyes peeled for the next lush sale.

Tips: If this product sounds good, but a little out of your price range, try Nivea’s Body Conditioner. It is similar, but in my opinion not quite as effective or luxurious (but it is ¼ of the price).

Too strongly scented

So I brought the lots of love gift set from lush and inside this box of 7 gorgeous goodies was Ro's Argan body conditioner I was so excited because I have read the great reviews And it was on my Wishlist to buy anyway. But I'm not really fussed I'm sorry just hear me out...

The conditioner itself is lovely thick creamy consistency and you want to just smother your whole body in this tan coloured cream.

The scent however is just way too extreme for my liking. It is very rose scented it was quite sickly rose I know a lot of people will love that but I'm more slightly scented gal not a full on rose/floral but I know each to their own and I know a lot of people that love the stronger rose scent will love it BUT if you are like me and don't like the extreme rose or floral scent it might pay to try something else.

So just like the Nivea in shower body conditioner (which I love) you wash yourself then apply the conditioner and wash off and pat dry. I find this quite waxy or oily when I wash this off and find it takes longer to absorb. However once dry my skin does feel amazing!! super super soft and very moisturised. And the rose scent lasts all day I did find it clash with my perfume. I really love how moisturising this is and how great my skin feels after using it just wish it was a slightly mutual scent

Tips: Try to sample or smell it before you buy it if you don't like strong scents

Great, solid product!

I love this body conditioner. At first when I tried using it I didn't read any instructions and so tried using it as a typical moisturiser and this did not end well. (Duhhhh). Anyway, after finally using it as it is supposed to be used, I loved it! It was a nice thickish consistency so lathered on nice and didn't feel as if it was washing away too easily. But the reason I really love this product... is for shaving! It helps stop shaving rash so well and it leaves your body feeling so hydrated afterwards! The issue I have with this product is the price. I feel as though the benefits of this product do not outweigh the price. It is much cheaper to just chuck some vaseline spray moisturiser on after a shower to counteract my mildly dry legs.

Simply delectable!

$39.90 for 225g? This stuff better be beyond expectations in every way possible for that much moolah! Smell check? BIG TICK! Eye catching check? It's simple but has the Lush clean green pot that is reusable complete with sticker of who made it (so personalized I love it) so I am hooked.....reel me in!!

I am obsessed with the smell of this pot of lushness. The consistency is so thick and creamy; luxurious even. I smooth it all over my skin from neck to toes after a shower and oh the divine smell that fills the shower room is beyond delicious. The smell is so long lasting I can smell it on myself after a full 9 hour sleep.

I expect dramatic results after paying $39.90 for my pot. I needn't wait long. It is the most moisturised my body has ever felt and this is alot coming from someone with dry skin from top to bottom. After a month of use I have found that the flaky skin I used to have is near non-existent and the redness around the driest parts has returned to the milky goodness it once was pre-puberty, I get compliments on my skin quite often by complete strangers, saying how I have great skin and it's only been since using Ro Argan Body Conditioner. I would subscribe to this if I could to assure a new one turned up every 4 weeks. Believer right here!

Tips: Use over entire body after showering

Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner

I adore this body conditioner. I had only tried a Nivea one in the past and the idea of moisturizing in the shower really appealed to me, saves time. I saw this and smelt this in the Lush store and knew I had found my holy grail.

It comes in a typical black Lush pot with the usual information on the label, which actually tells you who made it and its best before date clearly written. It is easy to use, I wash myself and rinse off then turn the shower off and apply the body conditioner and leave on for a couple of minutes. I usually have conditioner or a hair mask in at the same time (multi tasker is me!). Then I turn the shower on again and rinse off.

The fragrance is a gorgeous rose scent and the conditioner leaves you feeling amazingly soft and supple all day. I rubbed my hands along my legs hours after my shower and could still feel the richness of this product.

I am an absolute convert. Lush as a company has a wonderful philosophy, cruelty free, natural ingredients and a great recycling programme. If youtake 5 empty Lush pots back to their store they will eexchange them for a face mask, super cool.

Holy smooth body!

OK this stuff is incredible! Hands down a new fave!

When my Mum told me it was something you used on your body in the shower I was intrigued. A body wash, gel, jelly and soap I've heard of before but a conditioner? My first thoughts were hair, I had to try this product out. So I did!

First off, it smells ammmmmmmazing. I wasn't 100% the first few times I used it, it's define try not something I had smelt before. Very rich rose scented. It's a hard one to describe. Powerful when first applied, mellows out after awhile.

I've tried it both in the shower. Rubbing it into the skin, rinsing off the towel patting dry my skin and just as a moisturiser after the shower. Personally I love how my skin feels using it after a shower.

I find it hard to just not call it abody wash as its something you 'condition' your skin with in the shower then rinse off. But it's the consistency of a moisturiser and it hydrates and moisturisers the body. Almost like a body Butter?

However this product is meant to be used, it works well both ways. I love it, and I want more!

$39.90 for 225g is quite pricey but definitely a product worth every cent.

Tips: Can be used as a moisturiser/body Butter after a shower.
