First off the smell is so amazing like most of the Lush products instore. The smell is like a fresh rose scent and the texture is so soft and smooth. The texture of the product on the skin is so soft and light and the feeling after you remove the product still leaves your skin feeling soft. I am so in love with this product! It definitely feels like a body conditioner!!

Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner Review
Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. Ro knows good rose and her nose knows it! Use like a hair conditioner, simply shower as normal and then apply all over the body, rinse off and pat dry.
A beautiful, rose jam scented body conditioner that’s full of the most emollient, moisturisingingredients possible to feed and nourish the skin. There’s cypress oil, capuacu butter, Brazil nut oil, cocoa butter, shea butter and super softening almond oil, along with Argan oil of course, which is rich in vitamin E and incredibly moisturising and soothing on the skin. There’s also a touch of spring water to cool the skin down. The 20% glycerine locks in all this moisture, leaving your skin soft, smooth, supple and the fragrance leaves you delicately scented like a rose bush being kissed by the first rays of morning sun.
Reviews
I would definitely recommend people to try this particular Lush product for a few reasons. The first being that it has an amazing smell. Lush stores can be really confusing for the nose and all the products end up smelling the same but trust me when I say that this product smells amazing. Secondly, it makes your skin feel so replenished and moisturised after you wash it off. It smells so good that you almost just want to leave it on. It's made with the standard Lush cruelty free and natural ingredients declaration so you can guarantee that you are using a product that is safe for your body.
I received a couple of these small 45g tubs in gift packs and when a friend couldn't use hers because it has almond oil in it to which she is allergic, I am not really an in-shower-moisturiser user to be fair and this product (even though it's Lush and I am apparently addicted to the brand) didn't change my mind.
It comes in the standard black Lush tubs which hold it safely without spillage or letting external environment in, it smells beautifully like roses and it it easy to apply. It is thick and creamy but I have different colour variations across all three tubs so I think it's kind of a light caramel colour but I am not 100% sure if that is the colour it is meant to be but it seems to work the same on all of them and they smell the same too (none are expired or close to either). I find I have to use lots to get a good coverage and therefore a small tub only lasts 4-5 applications... I am not a tall person and I think I may have been too heavy handed but even still maybe another application tops. I like how soft my skin feels afterwards, it's nice and hydrating and the scent is not too strong once rinsed off; but I find it awkward to use in the shower and also remembering to use it regularly doesn't happen... this seems to be my Sunday night treat instead.
I am using it up for the sake of using it, but I won't go out of my way to buy it. I rated it 2, 4 and 3, because it does work if you want to add it to your shower routine, but I can't recommend it to all my friends and for me it's not a justify-able spend for what it does.
I am looking forward to going in and swapping 5 empties for a free fresh mask
I've noticed that my skin has been quite dry lately. I've tried the Nivea body conditioner, which I liked, but it wasn't quite moisturising enough. I thought I'd give the Lush one a try.
The cost was a bit off-putting, but I took the plunge.
The scent is quite rose-y (which is, as advertised :)) I'm not a massive fan of rose, but it isn't the worst scent in the world.
It goes on very smoothly, and feels amazing! I've noticed a definite improvement, my skin is not as dry as it was. It also doesn't take a lot of product to get good results.
Would I buy this again? I'm a bit torn. While it works really well, the scent isn't really my type of thing.
I will say, if you're a fan of rose, this product is a great buy for you!
Often with a Lush product, the scent is the determining factor in forming my opinion of the product. I absolutely love all of the rose jam products I have tried. I find them strong and sweet but not sickly or dated - I don't layer them (because they are quite strong), but I always enjoy using them individually.
The Ro's Argan Body Conditioner is no exception - the scent appeals to me and lingers on my skin, but it's not overpowering. I don't just love the scent though - I also love that it does what it promises. Once applied, it keeps my skin moisturised without the need to apply any extra moisturising layers post shower. It's not overly stickly and doesn't leave a residue like some other in shower conditioners tend to, and because of this I have also found I can use it as a shaving cream as long as I rinse the blade quite frequently.
Yes it's a bit pricey - but I tend to alternate it with my regular moisturiser and use it when I'm in a hurry. Plus I only use it on my arms and legs, like I generally would with my out of shower moisturiser. If you enjoy the rose jam scent, I'd definitely give this product a try. It makes having a shower feel like a little luxury!
Tips: Test the scent in store first to see if it appeals.
Since been given this as a gift a few years back I religiously buy myself a tub or two each year.
It is very much a lush must have and I always buy it for friends if they have not tried it before.
I would not say I'm a huge fan of roses but lush has found the perfect balance of rose with a hint of lemon to make me addicted to this.
I love the in shower use and find myself reaching for it the most during the colder months. The scent lasts on my skin all day and there is just something so luxurious about this product.
The price is a little steep but even after trying the alternatives on the market I always go back to Ro's.
I really did. I first received a sample of this from my darling Shana, and then I got a gift box with this also in it - a 45g tub. The smell is what drew me in, and I loved it, but that's where the love ends for me.
The color of this delightful smelling cream is like a pale grey, hinted with pink. It's quite thick but not as thick as say, their Celebrate lotion. The smell is so gorgeous, just like Rose Jam shower gel, but just a little bit different in a way I can't quite explain.
I showered as usual and then applied this to my skin, rinsed and got out. Yuck. I do not like the feeling this left. It was greasy but like I was covered in wax at the same time. Sure, I smelled good, but I didn't feel good. I jumped back into the shower and scrubbed it off and left it off. My skin was soft and moisturized after this fact, and I thought surely I was using it wrong somehow.
Much as I tried I just couldn't get this to work, and I hated it even more as just a normal body lotion (it worked better but I still didn't like it). I wouldn't buy Lush's body conditioners in general again because I hate the feeling on my skin!
I was given this along with a whole lot of new items from my Mum, who was having a clean out (lucky for me).
Again really like Lush's containers - the black with white writing and the cool fonts they use.
The colour of this was a cool skin/pinky colour, really like that. It is fairly thick but nice and creamy.
Even though it says to use in the shower to smooth on over wet skin then rinse off, I use it at work as a moisturiser on my hands and lower arms, it smells great and is deeply moisturising which I need as I work in a Hospital with air conditioning. I even had work colleagues comment on the smell, asking me what I was wearing :)
Really like it and will continue to use it as I have been, I may try it in the shower and see how that goes too
Tips: You don't have to use as they state on the container, just whatever tickles your fancy really :)
im a big fan of the lush range, love this product i think it smells great looks great, i aint a fan of the texture of the context, it feels gross between fingers, but i do like product
When I initially tried this product I didn't read the packaging properly, and thought it was a body lotion! It actually worked amazingly well, and was a thick, luxurious and extremely softening lotion. After I actually had a read of the container, however, I realised you're meant to use this as a body conditioner in the shower - oops! I tried it out in the shower, and found that it works great. You smooth it into your skin then rinse off, and it leaves your skin very soft and delicately scented of roses.
The smell of this product is a lovely rose scent, the colour is a pale rose-pink, and the consistency is creamy without being too thick. I love the amazing ingredients which it contains, and I also love the wonderful values which LUSH stands for.
While I won't repurchase for myself, this would make a lovely gift for anyone who likes subtle yet pampering body care products.
