If you are a fan of Lush, or have heard about Lush, chances are you have heard about Lush's seasonal range, which includes the Rose Jam Shower Gel. It is limited edition is the fact that it is only released around Christmas time.
This was something i had heard about long before i made a Lush purchase, so ofcourse when i became a self aclaimed lush addict, this was an item i had to buy (and luckily for me it was xmas time, so it was in stock).
Okay, so the smell of this is ah-mazing. It smells like Turkish delight, and honestly looks like it too because of its beautiful purpely-pink colour. It has a thick texture, similar to other body gel in the lush range but that means i find a little bottle lasts a long time because you can squeeze out a litle bit, which seems to be the right amount for creating a great lather which smells awesome, and which is a smell that actually lingers on my skin after the shower.
The packaging of this bottle? Well its the same as all the other packaging from lush. It comes in a see through bottle with a black cap, and a black sticker which has all the product info on it. Simple, but it stays true to how Lush package all their products.
As a shower gel, it lathers nicely, creates an amazing aroma in the shower. Seriously, it just smells so good its hard to stop yourself from using the whole bottle just to enjoy that smell for as long as possible. It also seems to do a great job at cleaning my skin, without stripping it or drying it out.
This product is lovely, but i have to say i find it hard to fork out $12 for a small bottle of this. However, if you can snap it up in the boxing day sales, you'll be crazy not too!
I don't detect vanilla in this just yummy sweet roses smells like classic rose oil. I love how this has the argan oil and the nice rich colour of the product. The scent is great because it is like a little Luxury perfumed product and you don't need alot. I've not tried many lush products and it was long ago when I tried this but it was memorable and makes me more interested in finding out more about the brand and products they have. I don't like the packaging label for some reason but the product itself is yummy but if your some one who things roses are an old lady smell don't get this because it's definitely a classic rose scent. I'm supposed there is vanilla as I didn't smell anything. I would use again it's lovely and rich
