Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel Review

As a faithful fan of the Godmother soap and LUSH altogether, I was very keen to be referred towards it's shower gel cousin at Christmas time. It's bottle looked enchanting, but I can't say the same for the product. I was gifted a sample from the lovely LUSH assistant and couldn't wait to trial it. Unfortunately the scent is just too overpowering even when I used it in small quantities. I was happy to find it has the traditional LUSH shower gel properties of moisurising the skin, but the scent was just too sickly sweet and reminiscent of cough mixture. I wish that I could love this, but unfortunately I won't be reaching for this off the shelves if they bring it around again this coming Christmas.

I got given this for Christmas and so excited to try it. It's pink and glittery, and smells sweet like bubble gum and candy floss combined. What is there not to love! I use it with a shower puff, and you only need a small amount and it bubbles up nicely. I love sweet smells ,and this would be one of my favourite Lush products. The only bad thing is that it runs out all too quickly , and is only a Xmas product. This year I'll stock up so I'll always have some of this yummy wash in my shower.

I was given this as a gift at Christmas and i immediately fell in love. The scent of this is intensely sweet so if that's not what you're into, back away now! I loved using this in the shower for the smell and because it is a organic vegan product. It's not a very mature scent, but it doesn't leave a lot of fragrance on the skin so you can get away with it!

Use this body wash on the daily! In fact I stock pile on it every time its back in store. I love the pink sparkly colour and the simple packaging. Smell is quite sweet but not sickly, smells of bubble gum/candy floss/strawberries and cream. Has a fairly good lather especially on a loafer. You really only need a small amount the scent is strong enough to linger for a few hours unlike a lit of other body washes.

I bought my first bottle of this a couple of years ago and ever since that I've bought a bottle (or 10) every time it gets put out on the shelves. I love the scent and the colour but most of all I like how it doesn't dry out my skin. I'm recommend it to anyone who loves a good smelling body wash but that fact that it's a natural lush product is a huge bonus!

Yearly i bulk buy this shower gel, and ration it throughout the year, its so sweet smelling and lathers extremely well, I found that it was also amazing how something so beautifully smelling was made out of cruelty free products which is always a bonus!! My absolute favourite body wash! The downside is that it's only available at christmas time and mid year christmas which you have to be lucky to catch, and if you have a partner like mine he will try to be all sneaky and use it too! I always get complements on how great it smells ! Definitely not one to miss !

Love love love snow fairy! Not too keen on the price but if you're sneaky and go on boxing day, 50% off all christmas stock!! I love using this with my exfoliating glove and makes me smell amazing! dont't know whether to use it sparingly over the year or just go crazy! Boyfriend loves it too which is a plus

I absolutely love Lush shower gels. I tend to stock up during their sales by purchasing a few of the gift boxes, so I usually get the shower gels in 100ml sizes. Lush products in general can be a little expensive, but I feel like the shower gels are great value for money and come in such a great range of scents. Since you only need a little bit to get a good amount of lathering and to experience the scent, they last a reasonable amount of time.

I love the scent of Snow Fairy - I also use the Bubblegum lipscrub which has a similar sweet scent, and I have the soap ready to try. Sometimes it can feel a little overwhelming in the shower gel formula (I think it’s the pear notes), but if you enjoy sugary scents then this is perfect. I tended to use it every second day or so, as it’s quite strong and indulgent. It’s not overly creamy and moisturiser is still needed afterwards like with most shower gels, so it’s selling point is really the scent - I’d definitely try a sample or pick up the 100ml bottle to begin with.

The only disappointment came with the sparkle - I could see it in the bottle, but it all sunk to the bottom and I never actually saw it on my skin. Maybe this happened because I used the shower gel after it’s best before date (I had lots of other products to use up first!), but it was a bit of a let down since it looked so pretty in the bottle. I would definitely repurchase, although I’d probably pick up the 100ml bottle again as I love trying a range of shower gels.

This is the sweetest and sugariest (if that's a word) shower gel I've ever used. It makes me feel like the most serious of girly-girls.

The gel lathers really nicely - a little really does go a long way with this product. It smells great, and the scent lingers on your skin after you get out of the shower. The only disappointment is that the glitter clumps at the bottom of the bottle, and despite some dedicated shaking, it doesn't move back into the shower gel.

A small bottle has lasted me a month so far, and will probably last another two weeks. This makes the price a little less horrifying, as it will last for a while.

I love love love this body wash! I had been lusting over this for ages and finally someone gifted it to me for Christmas. The packaging is your usual lush packaging so I'm not going to talk to much about that.

The scent is seriously divine, it's like sweet candyfloss and shares the same scent as the Godmother soap. So if you love Godmother you will love this, it's also great because since Snow Fairy is limited edition you can still get the scent somewhere else!

The scent actually stays on my skin for most of the day which is unusual for normal body washes. With other body washes the smell fades soon after I get out of the shower! This adds a decent amount of moisture into my skin but not alot. I never saw any sparkles on my skin or anything like that though.

I would definitely recommend this product and can't wait until it's out again so I can stock up! It's just such an amazing yummy scent, can't express my love for it enough! GO TRY THIS :D The price is worth it and it lasts for aages too.
