Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel Review

I picked up a 100ml bottle to see what the fuss was over on snow fairy. Upon opening this magical little bottle I could smell wine gums and bubble gum, childhood dreams all over again. The first time I used it all I could seem to smell is jellybeans. If you don't like bright pink with sparkles this is not for you as this is the liquid in the magic bottle. The sparkles do sink to the bottom of the bottle over time and I have never noticed them on me after the shower so I could skip them in the formula to be honest. The gel has a medium consistency and doesn't hold shape once squeezed out. The pink gel lathers easily on my loofah and I feel clean after using it. This is a limited edition at Lush that seems to come out twice a year at present and I am feeling this as a repurchase to remind of childhood dreams.

I got a small bottle of Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel in a gift pack for Christmas and after reading so many good things about it, I really wanted to like this product.

Unfortunately, I found the smell of Snow Fairy Shower Gel to be sickly sweet and overpowering, especially in our enclosed shower (we have a shower dome, so the scent gets trapped in there with the steam and there's no airflow until you get out). The first time I'd used it, by the time I'd finished showering and climbed out, I felt like I'd showered with candyfloss and had seriously overdosed on sugar; the scent of this product left the same strange feeling in back of my mouth that I get when I eat too much of something sickly sweet and I couldn't wait to get out into some fresh air. Not a good first impression of a product!

It did leave the bathroom smelling nice, it lathers really well and the little bottle lasts a long time, as only a small amount is needed to get a rich lather.

I really wanted to like this Shower Gel, as I love the smell of Fairy Dust, but I just found Snow Fairy to be too overpoweringly strong. I don't know if the strength of the scent differs from batch to batch, but unfortunately, I won't be buying any more Snow Fairy Shower Gel.

This is my all time favorite shower gel! the comforter was very close to taking over as number 1.. But not close enough. I wish it wasn't limited to christmas time as id love to be able to pick it up at other times of the year. I normally buy mine on boxing day in the packs that they sell for half price as it is such a great bargain. It smells like cotton candy and bubble gum mixed together, it's just all sorts of yummy. I remember the first time i brought it.. I was a little concerned about the glitter that it had in it and if it would stay on my skin but it most defiantly washes down the drain! I love that you only need to use a little amount to cover your whole body so getting a smaller bottle is never an issue as it always lasts so long. I have run out now but i will be back to the boxing day sales this year to pick up another one of these bad boys. Anyone who loves sweet scents should defiantly pick this shower gel up! I brought this as christmas gifts for my friends last year and think il do it again this year for them as they enjoy it just as much as i do!

Loved this product. The only downfall is it didn't go well with my eczema. However I do struggle a lot with my skin so would definitely recommend it to others!

It overwhelms you with a really sweet candy/bubblegum smell and takes you back to your childhood where you'd buy a whole heap of candy with all your spare change. I've heard that people find the scent overwhelming but for people with a sweet tooth this product is amazing and you will be sniffing the air in your shower and then your body afterwards because it smells so good. This is definitely not for people who prefer something more subtle. The product lasts a long time and is good value for money. Lush always has amazing product and this is one, highly recommend.

Every Christmas without a doubt, I am buying at least one bottle of this stuff. If you are a huge Christmas fan like myself, then you should give this product a go. One whiff and you are hooked. It leaves your skin covered in the sweet pink scent and feeling fresh. Christmas begins the day this scent hits the stores!

This is the yummiest scent! It's so moisturising and the colour is amazing, (turns your skin pink so it looks like your sunburnt lol) but it washes off extremely easily and it leaves the skin so moisturised and yummy smelling

The smell of this shower gel is very strong and smells super sweet almost overpowering but I personally like strong scented shower gels. It is quite pricey but if you like the smell and you only use a little each time it should last a while
