Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel Review

Hearing so much about this shower gel I just had to see what the fuss was about. Not a big fan of anything pink and girly!

My first though upon opening the bottle was that it smelled just like Jelly Tip icecream, which prompted a trip into town to purchase one.

It's quite pretty with a lot of glitter in it although I didn't really notice it on my skin after using it (thankfully). Using it I wasn't that keen on the scent when it was warm. Nice, but nothing that really appealed to me, I felt it was more like a kids product. Don't feel like it was moisturising. It didn't dry my skin out anyway so that's a bonus.

Not something I would buy again, sadly I got sick of it quickly.

I was really looking forward to trying this, I have been hearing about this amazing body wash from all the lovers of it on here, so when I was able to get the gift box containing this I was super excited.

When it arrived, before I opened the box, I looooved the packaging, the cute pink and green and yellow box that looks like a wee house. And the smell - was amazing.

But then, when I opened the box and got the bottle out, I was a wee bit taken aback by just how strong the scent was. I thought, ok, that's fine, it's probably not as hardcore when you're using it in the shower. But unfortunately for me, the smell is just too overpowering for me to use, it almost gives me a headache. I love everything else about it, it feels gorgeous and the beautiful pink shimmery liquid is just lovely. My girls love this as a bubble bath, so all is not lost, I just don't think I would buy this again for myself.

I wish I could eat this product!! It honestly smells like a sweet candyfloss dessert.

I purchased a couple gift boxes in the boxing day sale and recieved 2 bottles of the 100g bottles. At the time I was unaware that the product was a seasonal product and was only generally released around christmas time. I gave a bottle away and kept one for myself.

While I love the scent i think it could be a little less sweet. Other than that this product is really good. It's defiently not the one I would recommend to a friend first, I think there are other shower gels that take the cake (see what i did there?)

The Snow Fairy Shower Gel is a pink glittery Gel.It's quite thick and jelly like. I like to use a loofah With this product, it helps it lather up nicely while in the shower or bath. It's moisturising and doesn't leave that soap feeling to the skin after it's rinsed off.

Although the gel is quite glittery i find it doesn't stick to the skin, it just washes off as you rinse. So if you are unsure about the glitteryness don't freet it does wash away.

I also like adding this to my littles bath. My 3 year old daughter loves the scent and the bubbles it creates when added to the bath :)

A good product but not my absolute fave.

This shower gel is one of my most effective pick-me-ups! Like all Lush shower gels I've used, it is packed with scent and bubbles so you don't actually need very much to feel well and truly clean! (Which makes it really worth the cost too).

I really love snow fairy, the scent is so sweet; Although it can sometime be to overwhelming at times. It lathers up really quickly and does not irritate my skin at all.

I swooned over this for so long but because my skin is so sensitive I never wanted to spend the money on it incase I couldn't handle it.

I used it relatively sparingly. A) because of the cost and B) because I was afraid if I used it regularly I would flare up. But it still lasts well as in a little does go a long way so I think it is worth it as a little treat for the shower.

It smells VERY candy sweet but is is so delicious! Could be a bit over powering if you're not into the lolly sort of smell but I love it.

It does have subtle glitter in it but I've never noticed this staying on my skin.

My skin never had a reaction even when I used it a few days in a row.

I'll definitely repurchase this again come Christmas time!

When I saw this online this year I nabbed the biggest size asap. I'll be buying more which will be set to sell again in October according g to their stores. The bottle us a flip top bottle with a sticker label that has the product ingredients & names also is a smaller sticker on the bottle naming the person whom made the batch & it's datade & expiration date. The downfall to this pacakging is the flip top lid I'd much prefer a lid that it sat on so I could squeeze the product out also the glitter comes out better when tipped upside down. Product is a eyeappleqing pink that has a candy floor bubble gum scent with lots of glitter in it. So pleasing my senses. I've gone thru alot this year having been able to buy from others online. My kids love this shower gel & it doubles as a awesome bubble bath too. ( I had my brother come stay & he walked around smelling like snow fairy. What can I say we love it.

So i managed to pick this up on the online store for my niece, I love the fact that its a bright pink color with a glittery consistency. Smells divine and is longlasting. I think the price is reasonable considering it is a good quality product. Love it

I recently got this and i was so hoping that i would love it to bits, however it is soooo sweet smelling. Obviously the description says it, but it is sweeter than i thought. It definitely smells like cotton candy, and the scent does linger as well and it fills my bathroom with the scent.

there is little purple/blue sparkles in it, however mine all sunk to the bottom and no amount of shaking will shift it :(

It can be used in the bath as a scented bubble bath too!

This is a very cheerful shower gel. Smells like bubblegum. Pink with blue glitter - although fortunately I never saw any glitter left on my skin.

A little on a shower puff foamed up brilliantly & and I could easily wash myself with one application so this is good value.

Delightful gel to use.
