I was gifted this body wash before Christmas last year... and I really was not a fan!
First off as pretty much everyone knows this is a Limited Edition product sold by the company Lush, when I received it I was totally stoked as I know how much hype this product has everyone I know loves it, and repurchases it once its on sale near Christmas time. I just really don't get it? 1. It doesn't smell anything like Christmas holiday time to me, 2. It has chunks of glitter spread throughout the gel 3. It totally dried my skin out.
The packaging is easy to use, and simple and looks nice in the shower. Price point is more than I would like to spend on a body wash so I'm relieved I was gifted this rather than bought it and been disappointed.
It washes you well and leaves a slight scent behind, but when you pop it on the scrub ball/flannel the entire shower entraps the scent and its so sickly sweet, it put me off! I ended up using the rest of it as a shaving lotion.
I didn't find it moisturised my skin, in fact I feel that it actually made it drier maybe that was due to the glitter in the actual body wash, which also I was not a fan of, maybe if I was 12 or 13.
Sadly I won't be repurchasing this, but it has definitely not put me off Lush at all.
Snow fairy is one of my favorite lush products. I've been using it for years! My first one was gifted to me when i was in hospital. It was lovely having suck a gorgeous fragrance in the shower. I was able to use it as a shampoo as well. I wouldnt suggest doing this all the time though.
I love the thick, pink, sparkly gel that smells insanely sweet of candy floss.
At Christmas time I stock up. As soon as it's listed online, it tends to sell out quickly. Don't just buy one people, buy many. No actually don't, you might take mine :D
I use this quite a few ways. Of course as a shower gel. Here I need to point out if you have sensitive skin like I do, you might find you react to it as a everyday usage.
When I run a lush bath with their bath bombs, I add a good squirt of this to add bubbles.
I use it in the liquid hand soap dispenser and have been doing this for years. It used to annoy me when the kids would say they washed their hands and I knew they were fibbing. So I swapped to using this mixed with water. When someone has washed their hands with it you can smell the fragrance right away as its so distinctive. Now i no which adults dont wash their hands ;) I've been telling people this trick for years and converted many :) It leaves a nice fragrance in the bathroom as well.
Tips: Great for all ages
