One of my 3 favourite LUSH products. Sparkly and sweet, just what any girl who believes in magic wants to bathe in. Lush shower gels have quite a thick consistency which later up really well and definitely go the distance, this one in particular has a lingering sweet pink candy scent which leaves you smelling almost edible ! I once shared with my little 2 year old princess and it did not irritate her skin at all, so I can vouch for it being gentle on sensitive skin as well. Packaging is typical of LUSH with simple flip top lid design and delightful labelling. The one thing that disappoints me about this product is that it is only available at Christmas, so stock up once it hits the shelves, along with the matching bubble wand and snow fairy shimmering body stick.

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel Review
Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel One of the greatest scents of the holiday season is that of sweet treats like cookies and candies that you just cannot get enough of. Imagine smelling that every day when you lather up to take a shower, and you have LUSH Snow Fairy shower gel. The gel comes in three different size bottles — 3.3, 8.4, and 16.9 ounces — and it smells of bubble gum, vanilla, and cotton candy. The LUSH Snow Fairy gel is also pink and sparkly which just adds to its appeal. LUSH only releases the gel around the holidays, but you can find it among the vast inventory on eBay any time of year. Best of all, all LUSH cosmetics are made with a conscience. The company is against animal testing, uses only organic and safe ingredients, uses only vegan and vegetarian ingredients, and tries to use as little packaging as possible to help keep the planet clean. You can also purchase a sparkly angel-shaped bar of soap in the Snow Fairy scent.

Snow Fairy to me smells like happiness, something about the candy floss and bubble gum scent put together makes your skin smooth and leaves a sweet scent. Snow Fairy does contain glitter but don't worry, it's mess free and you won't walk out the shower looking like a sparkly vampire.
Tips: Snow Fairy is limited edition so you better stock up when it hits store this Christmas.
If candyfloss had a smell, this would be it. Almost sickly sweet but oh so addictive this shimmering pink gel is just what the doctor ordered to cheer up even the darkest of days (or to make shower time more fun). I buy a bottle of snowfairy every year, and in recent years have discovered the snow fairy scented reuseable bubble wand. A dollop onto a shower poof is all you need to create a mass of sweet swelling bubbles, and if you are feeling a little more adventurous, I find that all of lush' showergels double up as bubble bath foam. Simply drop under running water for masses of bubbles!
Tips: Stock up at Christmas to ensure you have enough of this to last the whole year, as its a limited edition product. Shake the bottle each time you use it as the glitter tends to sink to the bottom.
Love this gorgeous body wash by Lush! Like all Lush products it comes in simple packaging, but inside is bright pink & sparkly - very eyecatching! The scent is really sweet and girly - they describe it as candy floss, and theyre pretty spot on! I also use this in my toddlers bath each evening - she smells just heavenly :) I like to stock up on a years supply each christmas (its limited edition) and a little really goes a long way with this body wash, and its a good consistency - not too runny. Its super foamy and strong scented.
Tips: Squirt a little in the bath for a candy floss bubble bath!
This is a family favourite- it makes the steam in the bathroom smell like a lolly shop and oh so yummy. An opaque pink liquid with shimmery glitter particles, you only need a small amount on a shower puffer to get a rich lather. Scent doesn't last that long on your body afterwards once your dry and dressed etc but it's nice while your showering.
Tips: It is in a gift pack at Christmas time and makes a perfect gift for girls 5-15!
I got this in a Secret Santa gift for Christmas. It's the best present I've ever received.
I can't get enough of the fragrance! I want to eat it and bathe in it all at once. It reminds me of those red razoo (?) lollies I used to eat as a kid. Sweet and vanilla-fruity (I'm so terrible at describing scents, sorry).
I love using this in the shower before bed, because then I get to smell it all night. It lathers up really well, and you only need to use a small squeeze of product.
I need to track this down and purchase it in bulk. So far I've been unsuccessful in finding it here in Auckland, but I'll never give up looking. It's the best body wash I've ever used.
Tips: Don't buy it, because I need it all.
Lush's environmentally friendly ingredients and packaging start this shower gel ahead of the rest. I also love the combination of handmade yet professional that is offered in all of Lush's products. The Snow Fairy shower gel is only offered during the Christmas period, sells out quickly and has a cult following among the Youtube and Blogger community. Everything about the Snow Fairy shower gel had to me sold in store - from the glitter to the sweet scent of icing on a cake. I thought that this was exactly what I wanted in a shower gel. Upon actually using it in my morning shower routine, I realised that waking up to the sickly sweet scent of bubblegum, vanilla and cotton candy isn't as appealing as it seemed in the store. During my second week of using the Snow Fairy shower gel, I felt like a kid who has overdosed on pink icing at a birthday party. Alas, I had the massive (for Lush sizes) 16.9 ounce bottle to get through.
If you do love the scent (and even if you think you do, I recommend the smaller size), the formula is nice. A little goes a long way, particularly if you use it with a loofah. The formula is a little jelly like, and clumps together a lot more than The Body Shop shower gel formula. The scent lingers on the skin, and chances are it will mix well with your vanilla based perfume. The glitter is a nice touch, although it isn't visible on the skin. And again, no store can beat the ethical qualities of Lush. Snow Fairy either entered my bathroom as my preferences were beginning to shift away from sweet vanilla, or it pushed me forward towards fruity and woody preferences.
Tips: If this is your first time purchasing, try the smaller size.
I love this limited edition Snow Fairy shower gel, can't wait for Christmas to roll around so I can get some more. I would have given this a perfect score if it weren't for the rather high price tag for a shower gel and the fact the scent doesn't linger for very long after your shower.
The bottle is OK - I have purchased the large bottle in the past and it ends up looking a bit worse for wear from being squeezed and doesn't hold it's shape but that's a minor gripe. It looks very pretty in the shower until the bottle gets all dented.
You don't need copious amounts of product as it does lather really well, one decent sized squirt is all it takes.
The glitter contained within doesn't cling to your skin, thank goodness. I probably wouldn't use it if it did as I feel glitter is for young people.
The scent is so hard to describe - I wouldn't call it Christmasy. It's very very sweet with an aroma of pear mixed in somewhere there.
It definitely makes showering pleasurable, but for the price I limit myself to one bottle a year.
Every christmas I look forward to the lush limited edition snow fairy shower gel! It smells like bubble gum or/and candy floss, has a gorgeous pink colour and fine glitter/shimmer in the actual product! I would recommend snow fairy for the most part to the real girly girl as some would find the scent sickly/overwhelming. A small amount is all that is needed which means a little will go a long way. Starting at around $25 and coming in 3 sizes it is a little pricey for shower gel but at least there are the 3 size/price point options! And, being limited edition, its worth the wait and the price as a christmas treat (or present idea!) As a company I love lush for its ethics also so thats an added bonus!!
Tips: Stock up at Christmas!! This product is limited edition!!
If the colour pink had a scent, this would be it. It smells predominantly of bubblegum, with just a hint of vanilla. Almost sickeningly sweet. Though it has glitter in it, the glitter sinks to the bottom, and doesn't stick to you (so there isn't any need to worry about sparkling like a certain modern day vampire). I do prefer the orange and bergamot scented Olive Branch shower gel over Snow Fairy, but find Lush's shower gels to be slightly drying so it's not a product I would frequently use.
Tips: The Fairy Godmother soap has exactly the same scent.
