I love the formulation of Lush shower gels in general, they never seem to be too harsh on the skin and Snow Fairy in particular is a favourite of mine. It smells really sweet so it isn't for everyone but I'm a cupcake & candy kinda gal so this is right up my alley. It is a gorgeous bubblegum pink with a blueish/purple-ish shimmer that really looks like something a fairy would leave behind, The shimmer doesn't seem to cake on to your skin, leaving you looking like a Twilight vampire after your bath but it does leave you smelling like you've spent the day rolling in cotton candy & bubblegum :) The packaging is just a clear plastic bottle with a flip-top lid which can be a bit annoying, I've managed to snap a few caps but it was easy enough to decant the shower gel into an old shower gel bottle with a pump :)

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel Review
Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel One of the greatest scents of the holiday season is that of sweet treats like cookies and candies that you just cannot get enough of. Imagine smelling that every day when you lather up to take a shower, and you have LUSH Snow Fairy shower gel. The gel comes in three different size bottles — 3.3, 8.4, and 16.9 ounces — and it smells of bubble gum, vanilla, and cotton candy. The LUSH Snow Fairy gel is also pink and sparkly which just adds to its appeal. LUSH only releases the gel around the holidays, but you can find it among the vast inventory on eBay any time of year. Best of all, all LUSH cosmetics are made with a conscience. The company is against animal testing, uses only organic and safe ingredients, uses only vegan and vegetarian ingredients, and tries to use as little packaging as possible to help keep the planet clean. You can also purchase a sparkly angel-shaped bar of soap in the Snow Fairy scent.

Tips: If you aren't a fan of the bottle just pour the product out into an empty shower gel bottle and don't forget to take the cap into Lush :)
This shower gel has got to be a Christmas highlight! I was gifted it a few years ago and have been back to buy it a couple of times since. It has the most beautiful sweet scent that definitely smells like pink bubblegum and candy (if you're into that kind of thing). For me a little goes a long way so it lasts me a while. I've never found the glitter to be too over the top and quite honestly don't notice it on my skin after but it's a nice addition to the bottle. It's one of those shower gels that makes me feel extra good when I use it because it fills your shower with its gorgeous scent! I definitely recommend trying this one out, it's delicious.
Tips: If there's any left in the new year Lush offer them on sale for 50% off.
You know that sound Homer Simpson makes when he is drooling over something delicious? That is legitimately the sound I make when thinking about this or using it or writing a review about it...
I managed to score a bottle of this for myself at Christmas and then (much to my delight), a friend gave me another bottle as a Christmas present! Yeaaaah boiiiii. I was stoked. This is my all time favourite Lush shower gel.
As with other Lush shower gels, this comes in a squeeze bottle with a lid and cap. The packaging is quite cute and I like that Lush always have cute and clever descriptions of their products. The gel itself is a gorgeous pink and doesn't have any glitter.
The scent is... Absolutely heavenly!!! It's like candy floss and what unicorns would smell like. It is a super sweet and girly scent so this would be awesome for all ages, from little girls to teens to grown women. I think the scent can appeal to anyone that likes sweet scents. Even though I am not usually a sweet smell type of gal, this ticks all of the boxes. If you have smelled Candle Crushes Kid in a Candy store candle, this is like the gel version of that candle. Mmmmmm.
The only thing that makes me sad about this is that it is limited edition, so I believe it is only available around Christmas time. If you can, stock up on it at Christmas and enjoy it until next Christmas!
I have had a love affair with this shower gel for the last eight or so years. One of my major Christmas highlights is when Lush start selling this again and I always get a good stock so I can keep using it for a while. This shower gel has the most amazing sweet lovely scent and I have never used anything since that I like the scent of more. The only gripe I have with this is that the glitter always sinks to the bottom of the bottle so it's kinda pointless but I still love it anyway. The pink candy floss colour of this is perfect and I always feel like a princess when I'm using it. It leaves my skin feeling soft and clean and my only battle while using it is trying not to use too much at once and wasting it. I would fill a bath and bathe just in Snow Fairy if my budget allowed it!
i discovered Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel a few years ago and since then, every season (and occasionally when the lovely Lush people do the mid winter Xmas) I restock.
You can't be down after using this shower gel. It's bright, girly, sweet, happy and kind of like Katy Perry in a bottle haha.
The product is a bright pink, with a darker pink 'sludge' in the bottom with iridescent purple sparkles in it (which don't transfer to the skin). The caps are designed to dispense a small amount - and you only need a little bit, preferably on a pouf or similar.
The scent clouds around, enveloping you in bliss, and it hangs around in the bathroom all day - leave your door open to scent your house!
I always get asked which perfume I have on when i wear this - it's pretty potent, but so yummy that it's all good, switch to a neutral lotion and let the 'fairy' do the talking for you scent wise.
It also managed to clean skin and leave it fresh, soft and touchable... awesome
Tips: Craving it out of season? Try The Godmother soap from Lush :)
Snow fairy is one of my favorite lush products. I've been using it for years! My first one was gifted to me when i was in hospital. It was lovely having suck a gorgeous fragrance in the shower. I was able to use it as a shampoo as well. I wouldnt suggest doing this all the time though.
I love the thick, pink, sparkly gel that smells insanely sweet of candy floss.
At Christmas time I stock up. As soon as it's listed online, it tends to sell out quickly. Don't just buy one people, buy many. No actually don't, you might take mine :D
I use this quite a few ways. Of course as a shower gel. Here I need to point out if you have sensitive skin like I do, you might find you react to it as a everyday usage.
When I run a lush bath with their bath bombs, I add a good squirt of this to add bubbles.
I use it in the liquid hand soap dispenser and have been doing this for years. It used to annoy me when the kids would say they washed their hands and I knew they were fibbing. So I swapped to using this mixed with water. When someone has washed their hands with it you can smell the fragrance right away as its so distinctive. Now i no which adults dont wash their hands ;) I've been telling people this trick for years and converted many :) It leaves a nice fragrance in the bathroom as well.
Tips: Great for all ages
I was given this by a friend for Christmas, it is definitely my favourite scented shower gel! It lasts for ages, a little bit goes a long way, and it is also gentle on my sensitive skin! It adds colour to the shower rack (It's bright pink), and makes you feel luxurious using it. IT makes your skin smell amazing and sweet afterwards, I feel like it smells exactly like the Lush bubblegum lip scrub. Although it says the smell is of bubblegum, vanilla and cotton candy, I feel like the bubblegum smell dominates, once it is on your skin.
Ahhh the cult favourite. This like many others, is my favourite scent from lush. It smells like every kind of sugary treat your body does not need! It smells like vanilla, and sugar and candy floss and donuts - and there is literally nothing wrong with the scent - at all - ever!!
It is a beautiful hot pink colour with tiny pieces of glitter flecks in it - luckily the glitter doesnt stick to the skin and actually washes off - but it leaves me wondering why is it in their if it has no purpose. Oh well.
I find that the lush shower gels last a very long time, which is a great thing as these things are not only expensive but come around once a year only. A little bit goes a long way - and it's difficult to get through the bottle.
I dislike the Lush bottles however, while they are sturdy and strong, I find that when the bottle reaches the end, it's difficult to squeeze all that goodness out!
It's a very slimy gel like consistency, and it will lather or foam depending on what type of body washing tool you use. On a sponge it foams up, but on a exfoliating glove it remains a gel.
Once on your skin the smell lingers for unto 4 hours which is a great added bonus to the product.
Tips: You can also use these like a bubble bath by just running some under running water!
The Lush snow fairy shower gel is one of my all time favourite products from Lush! It smells amazing, very sweet like cotton candy and Bubblegum, it's super girly but suitable for girls of all ages. There is no downside to this product except that it is a Christmas limited edition product so unfortunately it's not available all year round. It is a runny pink formula with little bits of glitter, which don't stick to your body and make you super sparkly. The scent can smell sickly and overpowering but when you get out of the shower it isn't to overpowering it's a good subtle sweet lolly scent. It leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth and smelling sweet!
Ever feel like you are floating on a cloud of pink candy floss whilst eating pear drops with your eyes closed, there is the sound of a waterfall below you and then boom you're awake, that is the Lush Snow Fairy experience, you step into the shower and close your eyes then transport yourself to candy land. Lush only bring Snow Fairy out for the Christmas season so when it rolled around this year I made sure I was ready and purchased 3 x 250g (the largest size) bottles to store, I have been rationally using this inter spread with other shower gels to make it last through to the next release, it currently isn’t going well so I need to spread it out more as some days you just need this scent to make you go Ahh that’s better.
The packaging of this shower gel is in keeping with all the other bottles in the Lush family of products, with the exception of the flip lid this drove me insane with my first bottle but it must have been a dud as I am now on my 2nd bottle and this lid behaves itself. Inside is a shimmering pink liquid as sugary looking as a packet of candy floss and the shimmer of tiny silver particles gives it a glossy sheen that just gives me shivers thinking about it. I truly 100% love this shower gel, it makes me happy, and it makes the husband happy as he reckons it suits me but it also evokes good memories. Any Brit will know what I mean when I say that this reminds me of eating sticky pear drops on the back door step in the middle of summer, when crunched into that sweet flavour not only feels good on your mouth but it hits your nose with the smell of well...happiness. It is that in a bottle people...ugh I just can’t explain it to its full worth honestly. However if you are turned off by sweet things then walk on by this baby and leave it for those of us who do as you will not like it my friend!!
OK all the gooey I love this stuff for it smell aside, it is also a freaking awesome shower gel, it pours out with a syrup thickness that allows you to pop out just a blob onto a sponge or puff to get mountains of frothy foam all over you, if you squeeze out more than a blob you are going to be knee deep in foam whilst you shower. Maybe not exactly to your knee but this stuff has serious foam-ability. It is not drying, nor does it irritate me. In fact it leaves me silky smooth, smiling, in a good mood to tackle the day and the smell mellows done to an almost vanilla cream soda scent that sticks around for a while.
