Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel Review

I had been waiting all year for the Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel to come out in stores! Convinced the boyfriend to buy me a nice big bottle, and have been loving it all season!

Before I start on the actual product, I think it's so great that LUSH stands for so many wonderful things like natural ingredients, handmade products, cruelty-free methods, etc. So awesome that in buying Snow Fairy it's also supporting such a great cause.

The product itself is a total dream. The scent is VERY sweet and sugary - I personally love it, but if you're not a sweet scent person then you will be very overwhelmed by this fragrance! It is a very strong candyfloss-type smell. The shower gel is bright pink with natural mica glitters, lathers up great using a loofah, and is very soft and gentle on skin. It leaves the skin with a very subtle Snow Fairy fragrance throughout the day, which I absolutely love. When my bottle runs out I will be very disappointed - but ready to stock up again next year!

I first tried this when I did an order with the gorgeous Shana. I opened the lid of her bottle and had a sniff, and then another and another. Holy crap! This is Snow Fairy!?!? I stole a tiny amount to wash my hands with and fell in love with the smell on my hands, but at the time it made my hands feel a bit dry and it put me off, and I couldn't understand why people loved something that was so drying.

Fast forward a few months, I was sent a sample of it in an order. Well! I used it in the shower and it was a different story. The scent of Snow Fairy engulfed me and I was living in a candy wonderland, where it was all rainbows and sunshine and candy floss clouds. It smells so very sweet and like everything is right in the world. Unfortunately for my bank account, I was hooked.

The color is a gorgeous pink with a purpley blue shimmer glitter throughout the entire gel. It's very attractive and I can't bring myself to use my 100ml because I like to pick it up and sniff it and move the gel around so I can see it shimmering. The scent lasts a while on the skin, but it would last longer with a lotion (c'mon Lush!! I need it!!). And surprisingly, it's not as drying as I originally thought it was, in fact, it's perfect, and I'm in love. I have already stocked up so hopefully I have enough to last until the mid winter Christmas ;-)

This shower gel is one of my most effective pick-me-ups! Like all Lush shower gels I've used, it is packed with scent and bubbles so you don't actually need very much to feel well and truly clean! (Which makes it really worth the cost too).

When I saw this online this year I nabbed the biggest size asap. I'll be buying more which will be set to sell again in October according g to their stores. The bottle us a flip top bottle with a sticker label that has the product ingredients & names also is a smaller sticker on the bottle naming the person whom made the batch & it's datade & expiration date. The downfall to this pacakging is the flip top lid I'd much prefer a lid that it sat on so I could squeeze the product out also the glitter comes out better when tipped upside down. Product is a eyeappleqing pink that has a candy floor bubble gum scent with lots of glitter in it. So pleasing my senses. I've gone thru alot this year having been able to buy from others online. My kids love this shower gel & it doubles as a awesome bubble bath too. ( I had my brother come stay & he walked around smelling like snow fairy. What can I say we love it.

This is my all time favorite shower gel! the comforter was very close to taking over as number 1.. But not close enough. I wish it wasn't limited to christmas time as id love to be able to pick it up at other times of the year. I normally buy mine on boxing day in the packs that they sell for half price as it is such a great bargain. It smells like cotton candy and bubble gum mixed together, it's just all sorts of yummy. I remember the first time i brought it.. I was a little concerned about the glitter that it had in it and if it would stay on my skin but it most defiantly washes down the drain! I love that you only need to use a little amount to cover your whole body so getting a smaller bottle is never an issue as it always lasts so long. I have run out now but i will be back to the boxing day sales this year to pick up another one of these bad boys. Anyone who loves sweet scents should defiantly pick this shower gel up! I brought this as christmas gifts for my friends last year and think il do it again this year for them as they enjoy it just as much as i do!

Every Christmas without a doubt, I am buying at least one bottle of this stuff. If you are a huge Christmas fan like myself, then you should give this product a go. One whiff and you are hooked. It leaves your skin covered in the sweet pink scent and feeling fresh. Christmas begins the day this scent hits the stores!

This is the yummiest scent! It's so moisturising and the colour is amazing, (turns your skin pink so it looks like your sunburnt lol) but it washes off extremely easily and it leaves the skin so moisturised and yummy smelling

One of my favourite scents.. I love that every xmas I get given some of this and I always look forward to it. It's a powerful scent so I only use a tiny amount so it lasts a looooong time. I don't use this every shower but when I do I can smell it on myself for a long time afterwards which is something I look for in a wash as many don't have a lasting scent.

Its a nice consistency so doesn't just run down the drain.

Love the colour and sparkle, but most of all I love the sweet smell its hard to describe but it reminds me of something in my childhood. Delicious.

Makes a great gift too.
