I bought this in Lush's half price sale, as I think paying $15 for this tiny little thing is insane. It fits in the palm of my hand but doesn't reach the edges, so for $15 I think I'd only buy it when it was on special.
The bar is heart shaped which is fitting because I do heart it. Its white and has brown "chocolate" smeared through it. Whether that's edible or not I'm not sure, I haven't tried it... yet. It smells amazing, like sweet chocolate!
These melt really easily, but as I was living in a house with 0 insulation I found I didn't need them in the fridge at any time of the year. If it's too cold it does take a bit to get going but when it does you become a delicious smelling human.
I find it doesn't absorb well, but I have only used it as a back massage oil and not a body oil. However it leaves my sheets smelling amazing and my back is lovely and moisturized. I really like this and I'd buy it again, as it's lasted at least 4 months!
This is my utmost Favorite massage bar, I have a back up ready to go already and adore the scent of soft vanillary chocolate and honey.
I love Lush massage bars for being easy to use, simply rub on warm skin and it melts into an oil and away you go. This is perfect for less mess (no awkward oil spills). Only downside is in summer you need to keep them cool (it's not really a downside as such but more something to be aware of). I have found these solid bars great as they don't cause breakouts and are a wonderful couples treat or use as a beautiful scented all-over body moisturiser.
Grab a body-bar tin from Lush or simple plastic tub to help keep it fresh (and away from little fingers) and pop it in the fridge in summer (even in our warm house it didn't melt as long as it wasn't in full sun) but it is better to be safe. These wee bars can last and last and I find them great value for money (even more so if yo can grab one in the boxing day sale.
Tips: If you apply too much of this it can get a bit oily, the trick is to only apply a thin layer and then rub, add more if needed but always start with less.
